I recently purchased both Cafe Corner and Market Street to complete my collection of modulars. Both are 100% complete, built, and with instruction booklets, and I payed $450 total. Not as good as the deal I got on my other modulars, but I'm happy with it.
Meanwhile... at TLG headquarters: #2:”I have a great idea for an April fools joke. First we’ll mark up the new Steamboat Ideas set to some ridiculous price like $90. Then we’ll offer the exclusive mini figures for $3.99 each. If we could make it the easiest to smoosh, and the most abundant in the cmf box... hilarious!” #1: “what a great idea!” #2: “yeah, the Ideas guys would be furious. Sales would bottom out. VPs would lose their job. It would be a disaster! LOL” #1: “what were you saying? I saw something shiny. AnywAys. By the smile on your face I’ll assume you struck gold and will run with your idea. See you later.”
I guess Nick Fury's inclusion is sort of a spoiler? Although I guess it technically doesn't say if it's before or after Infinity War.
Also that promo is awesome!
Scrooge McDuck is my spirit cartoon character. Finally I can have him in LEGO form.
Too bad Iago did not come with Jafar. At least we get the cartoon version of Jafar. How do I know it is the cartoon version? The LEGO minifig (with the half smirk) looks more menacing than the Jafar in the live action Aladdin trailer
The Mickey&Minnie's accessories in Steamboat Willie are in silver. It looks like the CMF versions are strictly black and white.
2 - 41054 Rapunzel's Creativity Towers for $119 a piece.
Buy in was 35$ each.
Funny story on acquisition. Found these in a Jackson Hole souvenir shop in 2018.
looks like these minifigs wont be exclusive and will also be in the recently announced Disney Minifigure Series 2.
Edit: Just saw this tid bit, so the value could still be there for these minifigs. 'These are slightly different lacking the metallic silver accents and instead coming with white shorts and shoes instead of grey.'
This set has some good figures, but including the Steamboat Minifigures and Huey, Dewie, and Louie, which are basically just recolors, brings it down some. Chip and Dale would have been cooler in their Rescue Rangers gear.
$87 lot on Mercari. I figure the purple Dragon will more than cover the cost.

I'd say keep up the chatter on these awesome exo suit sets! I do enjoy mine. They pair so well with Benny and that space squad of his!
sooo I"ve also been hearing great things about this chima lego thing, may worth a google?
The Brick Fan has some official pictures up, but I really enjoyed this one from that classic scene when Rey and Kylo fight and Rey pushes over a tree and finds a blaster underneath it.
There is no sign that 2019 would be the end. Speed Champions caters for a very specific market sub-segment (collectible sport car models), it is not tied to a specific license and LEGO has no obvious substitute. This will likely stick around for a long while.
I also read in an interview with LEGO designers (can't find which one) that SC did a lot to improve their small scale car designs. The challenges to replicate a shape of a specific car forced them to come up with new techniques, and this experience is now transferred over to other themes. This resulted and will result in more varied cars for the City, Creator and other themes. So LEGO has good incentives beyond direct profits to keep the theme around.
