We built LEGO system 6416 Poolside Paradise and 6411 Sand Dollar Cafe from the 1992 Paradisa Subtheme. Picked them up from Goodwill and wanted to see if they were complete before we sell them. Both complete except 6411 is missing 1 minifig and its box. Much better than expected. The baseplates are crazy! Sent from my iPhone using Brickpicker Forum mobile app6 points

I don't think it's fair to put this in the same category as Adventure Time. Am I interested in the set? No. Are there rabid Disney/Mickey fans who will enjoy the novelty of this set? Absolutely. Maybe these will get sent out in shipping boxes that use Adventure Time sets instead of air packets for cushioning.4 points

Wow, such hate so far. I really like this set and Im not even a huge fan of Mickey Mouse. I do wish they would have included a Pete figure opposed to Minnie. Not day one, but I'll be getting this.3 points

I bought a$300 worth of used Lego on CL...tried to bargain down but they supposedly had other buyers. It was a lot of 12 medium to large "complete" sets ranging from Star Wars, City, Technic, and Ninjago from about 2014-ish period all in original boxes (side note...I have come to the conclusion that sellers who kept the box are informed sellers...so no great find or lottery ticket winners)...the main one was the 2nd release turbo tank...clever to post a pic where it was hard to get details. When I finally examined the sets...I was disappointed...typically I like to get 3x the used BL value at least (my last deal was $225 resulting in about estimated $1200 value)...but this time the 12 sets were more duds and I would barely get back the original investment...lesson learned BUT They included a large box of "loose" legos; I discovered by "loose" they mean about 40 lbs of excellent condition Lego bricks all bagged seperately by color...it was a treasure trove for anyone looking for extra parts. I would bet I could turn around just this box for $200 easily as is...even had dozens of minifgures...I was only able to recognize an older Harry Potter (excellent condition [which is the key description here]) during my quick asessment. Anyway it's actually a lot of work sorting, building, and selling so it's far from easy money but I do like the hunt.1 point

Such an oddly artsy nostalgia trip back to both Disney and Fabuland here. I can understand somewhat the "another Disney related product" groan and yet here is an expected idea needing to be done for a long while I feel. Whether the reason is pure or puerile, everyone knows about Steamboat Willie even if they never watched the original short from start to finish. I would agree Pete should have been included alongside Mickey & Minnie; however I doth wonder which way LEGO would have designed him considering his first design is well away from how he is presently. My only negligible critique being the boat build is shorter than it was in the cartoon but again a rather trivial note honestly. Now if anyone wants to MOC the entire ship to scale, I would be impressed. Since I see no other time better, here is the historical animation.1 point

For those of you watching in black and white, the subprime set is to the right of the red sticker.1 point

Looks better (imho) than the original submission, so in that sense the LEGO Ideas designers have improved upon the original idea. I will need to see more of it, different angles, a detailed Jangbricks review, to decide whether I'll buy it too.1 point

Thanks to all your help, @lego rules, @betsy805, @KShine, @mizeur, @legorunner, @LegoMan1212. I contacted the seller and she was pretty understanding. I ended up getting a bit of a small refund back and will keep the set. I left her positive feedback so it all worked out.1 point

Finally built our first Imperial Star Destroyer (6211) that we picked up a while ago on the cheap. The set was bigger than I expected and larger than the 75055 version. It was a decent build...though there were some difficult parts due to poor printing colors in the instruction books that my kids needed some help figuring out.1 point

Yes. Go to the "stop list" option under the problem center list on your main profile page. If you don't mind, can you please PM me the user ID of this ****** canoe so I can add him to my blocked list? I do a lot of business on BL and luckily have never had an incident as bad as yours. I like to be as proactive as possible in avoiding such obvious losers. Thank you.1 point

Personally, I would not refund only because shipping label was scanned as accepted. This buyer has been a pain in the arse, and there is no telling that he would ship you back a different set or a box of trash. I would not bend over backwards for this unreasonable buyer that thinks he can make demands from a transaction with a stranger on the internet. There is nothing in his messages to suggest that he is an upstanding citizen, so I would be weary. He would get his refund when I get the item back, period. That is how everyone else’s return policy works. Sent from my iPhone using Brickpicker Forum mobile app1 point

Email them a prepaid return shipping label. When the tracking shows "acceptance" by the carrier, send them their $140 back. Don't send a replacement, and don't message any more than the basic facts. I have over 10,000 deals on BL and I don't ever throw that in a sellers face. For every AHOL on BL, there are 999 great customers.1 point
