More Target orders arrived today. Still waiting on a few stragglers. No special numbers of note. If somebody is keeping track and wants them let me know and I’ll make a list. Trump can’t get his wall built, so I figured I’d start my own...8 points

this thread is three years old and about to hit its 1000th page. One of the first page deal discussions was about 7.50 dimensions fun packs from Microsoft. com What will the thousandth page discuss? Probably someone yelling at a newb for reposting ferris wheel still on discount from amazon.6 points

Just about anything at 75% off is an easy buy. I'm not sure it's even worth thinking about if you have the money, space and ability to pick it up.4 points

I think the Speed champions, Potter BH, Sleeping Beauty Castle, and Juniors Incredibles sets are no brainers at 75%. The other sets I wouldn't look twice at if the discount was 50% or lower, but at 75% it would be hard to pass on those as well. The problem here is the timeframe you set for yourself to move them. Most of those are still available in stores, and on sale, so you'd have to offer a substantial discount to the buyer. Otherwise what's the benefit to them to buying from you vs just buying from a store? There might not be much profit left for you in that scenario if you need to sell quickly. Ideally you should buy these and store them for 2-3 years. Once they retire and are unavailable at retail your buy in will give you an advantage over other sellers. At that point you could sell at msrp if you wanted to and still make a decent profit.3 points

The Micheal's by me has LEGO section that is literally 4' wide by 7' tall......they usually only have some creator, classic, and a couple of city sets if lucky. I don't know if I can justify firing up the Jeep for that chase.....if anyone finds anything good, please report2 points

Looks like we will finally get the marvel bricktober here in the US in March/April!! It will be free from SAH or in store with $75 purchase.2 points

Maybe the are saving them for the Hanna Barbera CMF Series!!!!! How great would those be!2 points

Also known as a "box snob". One who sees any minor defect to the box as a major hit to the sets overall value.2 points

I found a few early at $50 each and I thought $100 was too steep from that point on.2 points

All of them together looks awesome! Those monkeys goes for about $20 each on eBay so price accordingly. Man, I need to get my hand on one of those Ultimate Batmobiles. They never went on clearance at my local Target/Walmarts. Sigh.2 points

Looks alright to me. Barney should have short legs. Correct me if I’m wrong but didn’t the cartoon start out with the four of them only? It was basically a cartoon version of The Honeymooners set in prehistoric times. They added the other characters later on.2 points

If the pallets are wrapped, you might want to cut them open to check the inside sets. You definitely don’t want a couple pallets of Malbus & Jyn Erso!!!1 point

I always think of when Lego got in trouble describing one of the Mixels as a window licker. The PC crowd was very angry...1 point

It is true the original run had rather well designed parts (namely the heads) of the iconic characters. However I wonder how many of such molds does the company still have to work from not to mention how stark the contrast was between a normal minfigure and majority of the former Toy Story ones (an odd statement when considering The Simpsons minifigures from just a couple years ago). What I see here looks like the character but even more in natural LEGO form all around. The torso prints on the new figures do not look much different than the prior though I suppose what would have changed from then to now really.1 point

Thanks. Wow even with imagination I have a hard time getting ribs out of that thing.1 point

I’m not sure really. I saw it in a forum post and thought it was hilarious. Everytime I think of it, I get a great laugh.1 point

Didn't they JUST MAKE shortish legs in the Harry Potter line? What were they thinking for Barney? And at least give me a brick built Dino if nothing else.1 point

IIRC the cartoon started with the 4 and Dino. This is mainly why I want Dino in the set1 point

That was exactly my thought. It would be a great start to a midway section of a carnival display! I love the purple octopuss ride and the shooting gallery is reminiscent of the Buzz Lightyear ride at the Magic Kingdom.1 point

I’m not liking the mini figures. Why didn’t they at least give Woody the long legs? This would have been a good opportunity to reuse the queen CMF dress for Bopeep. Feeling old here too, Toy Story 2 was one of the first dates I went on with my now wife.1 point

Awesome. This should be good addition for a kiddie section of a theme park along with the big guys (mixer, ferris wheel, etc).1 point

They’ve had those since December. I’ve been hoping for a price drop but that doesn’t seem to be happening.1 point

I doubt he has any idea of the figures existence. He just wanted me to show him a picture of the sealed bags to prove the set wasn't used. The C-3PO was just a happy accident that he did not get when he picked up the 7663.1 point

Sold a sealed 7663 Sith Infiltrator on OfferUp. Just trying to move some old turds. Buyer asked me to open it and send him a picture of the contents. It had been sitting on Bricklink forever, so I figured I would crack it open for the chance to unload it. Grateful the buyer asked me to open it, because this was inside: To think, this has been sitting on a shelf in my basement for nearly a decade. Nearly gave it away in a $25 infiltrator.1 point
