Next round of products for the Tesco "special purchase" bins to be launched next week (Maybe THIS week?). Some good stuff this time after the last couple of rounds have been disappointing. 60137 City Tow Truck - £10 75528 Rey Buildable - £10 - LOL Good Luck 41311 Heartlake Pizzeria - £10 - Seems good 60153 People at the Beach - £10 - Seems very good! 10834 Duplo Pizzeria - £10 10839 Duple Shooting Gallery - £10 41186 Azari and Goblin Forest - £10 7499 Flexible Tracks - £10 And a whole bunch of the books that include a Minifigure for £2.50. Definitely all in on that people pack, and as usual these will go 50% off in 4-5 weeks.3 points

Bidets are always cool when they are on the street corner, but still kind of weird.2 points

Bought one for my wife's City. It comes in an actual box, too, unlike the "Xtra" sets. Nice little add-on if you already plan to place an order. Least expensive "Sold" listing on eBay was $11.99 with free shipping (a couple days ago). Though, only Qty 7 sales since Jan 1, 2019. Seems like an obscure set, many people probably don't even know about it.2 points

Is movie 3 going to be Fire/Summer power then? Then Anna gets the Earth/Spring power to close the Quadrology Then someone gets Heart so we can get Captain Planet spinoff2 points

My 11yo daughter showed me the trailer last night. I wasn't even aware it was released. She was excited, which warmed my heart, because she's definitely growing up too fast. I'm not ready for her to enter the teenager stage.2 points

You can stack the free shipping code that they have too, which makes the total price with tax here in NY about $285 each.2 points

I would wait a few more weeks before we conclude this movie was a total loss. I know between the snow, extreme cold and poor marketing(although crazy high budget??) No one in my area has seen the movie yet that plans too. I feel with the long weekend and school vacation next week, there could be a bump in the numbers. Although premeir wknd is a good indicator of how a movie will perform in the long wrong, this is not always the case.2 points

The reason I'm at a quagmire is because on the one hand it's 4X QFLL, on the other hand it's 5000 limited (WITH STICKERS! STICKERS!). Then back to the other hand thinking it's on the upswing due to the movie so shoot for QFLL, then back to the other side when you realize there's definitely a Lego Move 3. Then back again realizing that by Lego Movie 3 they may remake these brickheadz in a different form and cannibalizing the value of these sets, especially if they also become limited...but then again it's 5000 with stickers...STICKERS! Not to mention the wife wants to sell because "stop holding our money hostage in Legos"...Thus, the quagmire... Personally, I want to keep them, because even though I know it's a cheap psychological gimmick, but hot damn those limited stickers sure are shiny...2 points

I'm a train nut, so imagining being able to wear VR headgear, and seeing augmented sceneries around my trains while they're running would be awesome. Or heck, augmented "life" in your modular cities would truly be epic.1 point

I'm sure someone at LEGO has already proposed a LEGO VR headset to go with this. I'll admit, when staring at a pile of LEGO, I'd love to have software identify the part I'm looking for like in the LEGO movie. If it was connected to the LEGO parts database it sure would be helpful with identifying parts as a whole.1 point

The more I think about it, can you imagine LEGO City scapes using this tech? How cool would that be? Cities could actually come to life. I wonder how customizable it's going to be. The more it is, the more it'll take off.1 point

My daughter calls me "Dad" now which I am actually okay with. If she calls me "Kyle" I raise an eyebrow at her and she smiles with an "oops!"... When it comes to first name we have taught her Mom, Dad, Nana, Papa, need respect by calling them those names only. With teachers, it's Miss, Mister, Misses and their last name. I remember getting in trouble in 2nd grade when playing on the blacktop playground when I called to my teacher "Lisa... I have a question...". She made me sit on the "yellow square" for 10 minutes...1 point

My 3.5 yo has been calling me by my actual name lately and it kills me every time. She enjoys the first one so this wont be any different.1 point

Sorry for the late response. I recently moved. The display cases did finally show up and they looked great. I had some issues with my delivery address but their customer service helped get it to me. Hope this helps.1 point

Anybody feeling like selling me a set of four for a reasonable price? I fell asleep last week and my daughter is freaking out now, but I can’t see spending $200 for friggin brickheadz. Sent from my iPhone using Brickpicker Forum mobile app1 point

My point being that most of the things they show in stock at the store level is phantom inventory. Hence the reason everything is being canceled for store pickup (minus a few of the really cheap sets no one wants) There was nothing new listed at any of the stores within 300 miles of me from when they were 50% off. I placed pickup orders at several stores then, and it was all canceled. I appreciate any posts in this thread, just letting you know it probably wasn't going to pan out.1 point

I sold a set of the 41634 & 41635 Emmett & Wyldstyle for $110. I could've held out for more money but with the rate prices are dropping on eBay, I'll take a profit margin of 190% buy-in price. I shipped it out to what looks like a drop shipper in Oregon who didn't bat an eye at the price at all. So that's a good sign. Buy-in was about $30 for them both. At this point in the game, you grab your money and go. Time to spend it on more important things...like more LEGO sets...or you know, preparing for Valentine's Day.1 point

I predict that when people say they are leaving the community, or investing in LEGO as a whole... that they will actually do so (not that it matters to me, but you said go bold) I predict that the overall mood of the community will be more positive, and less sky falling ... bold... I know.1 point
