Actually, the "jumping the shark" moment comes when someone finally builds one of these and finds that Wyldstyle is pregnant with a sewer baby inside the model.10 points

The “major lawsuit” that’s going to happen is about as likely as the lawsuit I’m about to file against@crayxlp for posting this and making my eyes roll so far back in head that I had to hold my phone behind my head to type this.10 points

Saw it yesterday with the family. My 6yo son loved it. My 11yo daughter liked it but said it was corny. Man, can she stop growing up already?!? I am so not ready for her to enter the teenage years where everything sucks and mom and dad are embarrasing. I liked it. It definitely was not as good as the first one. I would rank it lower than the first Lego Movie and Lego Batman. Higher than Lego Ninjago though. I had high hopes of cool scenes with the Rexcelsior expecting it to punch through things but was left sorely disappointed.6 points

Absolutely agree. 4429 had a 1.5yr run as well, and 7892 had a <1yr run (according to BrickSet). My comment was more on the fact that this "theme" seems to be on a 6 year cycle, so when 60204 retires (likely Dec 2019/Jan 2020) it will have 4 years to appreciate before a new Hospital comes out. That said, the Ambulance plane which retired last year is not doing as good as I expected. $35 on FBA (from a $20 RRP) - seems like lots of people have caught on to this "theme". So once 60204 goes, expect there to be 100-150 sellers trying to offload their sets. The patient will be rewarded, to borrow Terry's pun.3 points

No Amazon for me. I am gated. Only eBay, brick link, and local sales on craigslist and Facebook. Experience tells me hospitals will do very well. Especially at a 50% off buy in. Easy money. You just have to be patient. No pun intended.3 points

Last Hospital before this one was 4429 Helicopter Rescue from 2012 (6 years ago). Before that it was 7892 Hospital from 2006 (another 6 years earlier). So this one will likely not see a successor until 2024.2 points

Some news over on Brickset forum. Glass half full or empty? This is a reply I received from TLG Missing Parts service in the UK about a week ago. "Thanks for getting in touch with us.We're very sorry, but we won't be able to send you the reissued Finch minifigure for your LEGO® Star Wars™ Resistance Bomber™ building set. We've had a lot of 'missing parts' requests recently from LEGO fans who simply wanted to add this minifigure to their LEGO collection and due to this we've ran out of stock. The very limited stock we had of the reissued Finch minifigure was meant for quality issues and no new stock will be made." Note the bit about "No new stock will be made" . Oh well, that is it. If you have one already - lucky you. I phoned TLG this morning and they confirmed that as of the middle of last week all 4 parts of this minifigure were out of stock at the missing / replacement parts warehouse in Denmark. This warehouse serves the whole of the world for missing / replacement parts so that is it folks, TLG has no more to give away. But to sugar coat the fact they have no stock they said "they were looking into making this minifigure more accessible at a lower entry price - possibly a polybag, as it has proved so popular." Now that contradicts what I was previously told about no new stock being made. I am pretty sure that a polybag won't happen. So once again if you have one - enjoy it because plenty of us don't have it.2 points

I´m usually the last one to recommend City but provided this one doesn´t have the three-year-lifecycle then rehash that Police and Fire stations have, it should do OK.1 point

Saw it with my wife and 8 year-old daughter. Lots of fun. Loved the message behind it. Perfect for the day we live in where everything’s supposed to be all dark and edgy. Such a positive movie! Sent from my iPhone using Brickpicker Forum Oh, and watch the credits for the Architect Statue of Liberty. Look at her faceplate. I think it was a good-natured poke at all the haters. I saw the movie with my 3.5yo daughter on Saturday. It was her first movie in a theater and she did great! It was a good movie, but not as good as the first. The Cameos are just okay but the overall message is pretty good. I was able to figure out the plot line twist about halfway through because of some pretty good foreshadowing. I won't ruin anything here. However, I must say I am very disappointed we do not have the Triple Decker Couch Mech. It sees about 2 seconds of screentime, but I want it badly. Also. Benny and his friends have about 5 seconds, so if you haven't seen it, don't get your space hopes up. I would give it 4 of 5 Bricks.1 point

OOP was about $5 and the rest was Kohl’s Cash. RRP is $580. Thank you Kohl’s for this incredibly lucrative round of clearance. And I have another $40-50 from Y2U rewards coming next month. I’ll let the wife spend those1 point

Yep...those Hospitals will be an easy $150 six months after retirement, and will go higher the longer you wait. This picture makes me drool. All my Kohls had was a few Snoke Thone Rooms and Friends Garages, which I left behind as well.1 point
