  2. Just got my shipping confirmation from Walmart and says I should have them tomorrow. I'll update if the boxes are indeed stamped/stickered if nobody else has them yet.

  9. for the 1st time ever, I'm paying RRP for Brickheadz, where did that "What sets would you pay full price for" thread go?

  10. I like to gamble. I'm in. Ordered 2 of each in a single order. I'll double and triple dip if they are still available when I get the shipping confirmation. I'll keep my receipt handy if they start pumping these out by the truck load. Low risk gamble IMO. Thanks for the heads up, OP. Good luck to all!

  11. Did end up receiving all of these - boxes were in appalling condition but somehow the seals were intact. All gone for between $30 - $60 each. Only managed to get 2 of 80102 Dragon Dance @ RRP, putting these into storage for now.

  12. Worried about what? Just pay triple like the rest of us. One of the reasons people are getting banned too.

  13. People should know by now that Lego limited editions are only limited to how many they are able to sell.

  14. It’s the stickers that are limited to 5k, not the actual sets

  15. They only produced 5000 of each sticker. Just like they only produced a "limited" number of Reylo dualpack boxes and a regular amount of solo Reys and Kylos.

  21. So What's the play BP if this thing really is "EXCLUSIVE 1 of 5k"? Insta...ebay at $100? (for quick profit) Go big or go home and sell for $300 Slow play...wait it out until $500 Time Capsule: Lock it in a vault ...delete all posts...and forget you ever bought it (so as not to be tempted)...I think insta amnesia can be had by doropping boxes of unsold Pet Shops on your head. BP-Jerk-off: place them on your shelf and post pics a year later ...w/ Nah Nah! sign We all know what we'll do if NOT exclusive...The often thought of, but rarely mentioned: Reverse Arm-Sweep

  22. Ordered 10 for Lucas (son), Liam (son), Hope (dog), Zoey (dog), and Cosmo (cat) with me as the alternate pickup person. 5 different Wal-Marts. Paid each order using PayPal, with 5 different cards. It worked on Black Friday without getting any orders canceled... why not today?

  23. Online Exclusive so should be no store stock. Think you may be correct on the 2 pack was hoping for a different hair color. My walmart still has the anniversary sets for $25. https://www.ebay.com/itm/LEGO-Movie-2-Emmet-Brickheadz-Only-5000-Made-Rare/192815648886?hash=item2ce4b55076:g:NgAAAOSw1XNcWXIE:rk:1:pf:0 https://www.ebay.com/itm/192815646122

  25. I hope Lego makes a miniature version of this car under Creator line just like the mini Mini Cooper, mini VW Camper Van and mini VW Beetle. I know there is a minifigure scale Mustang under Speed Champions line but that is not mini enough.

  26. well if it's individually numbered...that would imply a count on the box. sorry...didn't realize that only online orders are available currently.

  27. Wut? Has anyone confirmed that? That's a really small number. Emmet is also list as "Walmart.com Exclusive", it does not have the same note on his listing. I'm just going to go ahead and order at RRP. Don't want to risk missing out on these, since I've got the complete collection now.

  28. One of our accounts was invited to join a new beta on Amazon dubbed the North America Remote Fulfillment program a few weeks ago. This is one of their more interesting betas. It allows you to have your USA fba inventory listed across Canada and Mexico with the Prime badge on your unified selling account. After a sale in Mexico or Canada amazon USA picks, ships, takes care of customs and remits taxes so you will no longer need to have an entity setup in each of those countries. They state they hope to have it rolled out in June/July to everyone. As with all things amazon their projects are either on point or amateur hour and so far this one has definitely been on the amateur hour side of things but they are learning and trying to problem shoot. Biggest issue right now is the lag time (9 days to get to Canada, around 6 to Mexico). I have my doubts this will be rolled out this summer (if at all) but certainly interesting and if it is could affect local fba sellers in those markets. Sales so far are around 5% of USA sales but only cost a few hours in setting up and a few conference calls so not a bad return on investment. The other issue is returns right now they are sent to canadian warehouses so you will want to setup a service with a canadian address that will conglomerate all the returns and ship them back in bulk to make it worthwhile. As usual for cheaper items it is not worth the time so having them destroyed is the better strategy. I still feel setting up your own company in those countries and sending directly to fba yields far better results as 2 day delivery converts far more but there is more work and investment upfront. This will involve little extra work for current USA fba sellers and costs nothing extra so will be a perfect fit for those still working on maxing out the USA market before tackling europe/canada/mexico on their own.

  30. I'd say the sales are definitely similar but not identical nationally. My store did not discount any of the Solo movie or creator sets, like others found. I've been going twice a week, since the sale was located, and haven't seen them add any additional sets to the clearance.

  31. 10185 Green Grocer, all bags sealed but box opened, for £430. I'd just finally sold my BNIB Green Grocer a couple of weeks ago for £780 after fees, so I basically traded 10185 for 10185 plus £350 cash. Good result! Question is, do I now keep this one or sell it? I couldn't justify building the previous one because I'd still paid a lot for it, but taking that one into account this one is probably less than £50.

  32. yeah but... It doesn't really matter what they ship back, because they would win a PayPal or charge back either way. 99% chance of refunding the buyer anyway, and its a show of compromise to do it 'early'.

  33. I confess, I didn't understand that all of these finalists are going to crowdfunding and all can potentially get made if they reach their 100% funding. I guess the strength of each set will rest on how fast they make it to their crowdfunding goal. Now that I know that there won't just be one winner, there are sets that I'll pre-order 3 of, some I'll order just one, and some I won't support. I agree with you that they are all better than anything that I could come up with, but a good MOC doesn't make for a good set. If some of the more god awful sets make it, I would expect the next time (assuming there is one) to have more entries and so better sets to choose from. Some of the Ideas rejects not based on licensed material, Rebrickable MOCs, and things that OrcKing shares ought to come over here for the next competition. Since the original question was about their investment potential, I'd be curious to see of the 16 how many people would like to pre-order and in what quantity. I wrote the first post before the last 4 had been released. There are some good ones in that last bunch.

  34. I personally think they are awesome. They are better than anything I could ever come up with and it's a community event. Kudos' to everyone that entered and gave it a shot. Differenec of opinion I know, but people took their time and effort into this stuff and if these continue, the building and competition will only get better.

  35. I couldn't find this posted elsewhere (but if it is then please move or delete) - Bricklink is releasing the finalists of their AFOL Designer Program. 12 of them have been revealed so far, and crowdfunding starts on February 1st. https://studio.bricklink.com/v2/build/afoldesigner_winners.page I have no idea about the value of these for investment, but so far I am looking forward to a couple of them for personal build: "Bikes!" and "Lowenstein Castle". Hopefully they both meet the requirement for crowdfunding. It will be interesting to see how well this program does in general and if its something that LEGO pursues in the future.

  39. I think a reasonable answer would depend on what you are selling. If you are selling parts, very rare LEGO, or if you are willing to price your listings very low - then Bricklink would be great.

  40. time cures all seller counts (well except for maybe WoN and exosuit)... meantime freakin' jack sparrow is $25.99

  41. While I do think this can be smoothed over through a discussion, there is no obligation to refund or reship. This is Bricklink. I would assist in an investigation as to why the package is delivered but not received (the alleged "porch theft") but ultimately this is an issue for the buyer, not for the seller.
