You have to be careful in this situation if you're committed to Amazon for the long haul. We don't know what they track and review behind the scenes when it comes to product quality. By simply closing the listing down and not appealing, you will have a quality issue on your record that you did not substantively address. Although I have no inside info on this, I find it highly probable that this could count against you down the road. I got my first one of these recently and hired one of the consultants to write my appeal for me even though I had sold out of the item. I definitely could not have come up with what they ended up writing for me on my own. It was pricey and the work product I got from them will help me do my own in the future. The material on the CMFs is different than that of the recent Harry Potter series. This new material is thinner and feels cheaper, feels kind of textured like a thin tarp. The bag size is also larger. 96mm vs 88mm left-to-right and 145mm vs 115 mm top-to-bottom. Much easier to smoosh. The front also says "1 Lego Character" instead of "1 Lego Minifigure". Probably because of the inclusion of Uni-Kitty as a possible option.

Never had one cancelled, but I did get a warning email a few weeks ago about several orders resembling reseller orders which they don't allow. I'm just careful now and don't order a bunch at one time.

Broke out a $35 75157 Captain Rex's AT-TR since the price hasn't moved and we wanted something to build...mostly for the 5th Brother mini-fig that the kids wanted. Not a great looking set but we at least had fun building it. In other news...if anyone is looking for a used 75157 that is complete except for the 5th Brother mini-figure, I know a guy. ?

First thing I would recommend is don't think of it as investing. It's Lego reselling. Be prepared to deal with all the ups and downs of selling before you start buying up sets. If you have sold on ebay or amazon you already know all the headaches that can come with that. If not read up. Welcome to the group.

Check the EU SAH for all the tagged sets. As mentioned, retired means no new production. For people like @exciter1 it means they have about 4 years or so to soak up local on shelf stock.

Built the UCS Y-Wing this weekend. Better than expected, highly recommended. My only real gripe is the stickers.
