  1. Lol. They've sold 9 at that price in the last 24 hours. Great deal if you want to not receive the product and spend your time getting your money back. Never trust a person that can't format a picture correctly.

  3. This time I am the fruitcake ... on Amazon FBA. Sold a DUPLO 10567 Toddler Build and Boat Fun two (2!) times this Christmas, same set. Both sales came back as a return, the first time I was able to immediately relist and sell, the second one came back as Unfulfillable. Just received the set back from FBA in exactly the same condition as I sent it in. So I started wondering why this got returned twice. Turns out the "Clearance - was $19.99 now $11.19" sticker was still on the box. D'oh! I guess my customers who bought this for $45 didn't like seeing that sticker In my defense ... the sticker was barely contrasting with the printing on the box ... but still, epic failcake.

  5. Do you mean you are selling a set shipped without the retail box? "parting out" means selling individual pieces, and the weights would be correct. But if you have a New, Incomplete set listing in your inventory, you can just adjust the "my weight" on the inventory page.

  6. Major price drops on the clearance Lego online. Seems to be a limit of 5 per item in an order unless my computer is just acting up.

  7. That "special" aspect played a big part for many buyers - It created a sense of true value, justifying their willingness (sometimes eagerness) to pay a hefty premium for some pieces of plastic.

  8. I would hate to see what our Lego fish would look like then. POTC zombie shark maybe?

  9. I do hope that LEGO is happy. After destroying their products ability to be seen as a rare collectible - it must be so much easier for them to maintain available inventory.

  10. As a Star Wars fan I got one for my personal collection. It’s still a cheaper alternative than buying the original. I got it off Rakuten like a year ago heavily discounted. I have two more I got for free because they made shipping errors lol. That’s about the only way someone would make a profit off them right now.

  12. This is a long term investment set, unless of course some genius in LEGO set development decides to remake it once again. Otherwise, if you have some time and space to store, it will do appreciate slow and steady IMO.

  13. Last year I sent in 10 Rey & BB-8 Black Series Figures. They logged in 18 and sold all 18 and I received the money for all 18. I contacted them and had the same results Phil.....I guess that helped make up for a handful of items of mine that they lost in the past. Although I do feel bad for the other seller who ended up losing 8 of his Rey's......

  14. I'd say it's pretty common for the +1 and -1s. I focus on the negative discrepancies and keep better tabs of receipts. Thinking of taking picture of each box I send to amazon as another way to provide verification. The thought of them losing another 40+ item concerns me.

  24. It's retiring. Not uncommon for them to do that with big sets on the way out. It's back in stock from call to check. Wish they had a good freebie going right now.
