Found a 75192 UCS Millennium Falcon locally. Had not been fully built. Guy stopped at bag 13. Just didn't have the patience to finish or the space to keep it. Lowered him from $650 to $550. My 9-year old has been dying to build a huge set. He got the James Bond car for Christmas but really wanted the HP Castle. He has built 4842 for me at least 8x to flip used. (It used to be an easy flip!) I fronted him some cash and bought the 75192 with the understanding that once he built it, he would have to take it back apart and sell it. Imagine I'll get close to breaking even, and he can experience building the largest Lego set to date. Win-win.6 points

Went to Dillard’s sale in San Antonio .... spent less than when I go lego shopping .... ?. But wife is a lot happier shopping there than lego hunting at target and B&N....4 points

You'd be surprised how many people have never heard of LEGO Shop at Home ...3 points

This looks great, nice job! I have an extra 41493 if you are interested. Who would have known at the time Black Panther would become so popular. I would advise against it because once you have one you will have to complete the 2016 SDCC set and 41490 is pricey but you will need something to keep things symmetrical.3 points

Bought a Wonder Woman in-store promo Brickheadz, along with Darth, Luke and Yoda, and Steve and Creeper Brickheadz. Also couldn’t avoid the new 2019 Brickheadz: Birthday Clown, Valentine Puppy and Dragon Dance Guy. That officially brings me up to date with every numbered Brickheadz except 57 - the infamous, never released TRU Geoffrey. Anyone ever see one of these on eBay or Amazon?2 points

Took a walk on a newly built road while my five year old daughter rode her bike. It was closed to traffic and built into the deep pine woods leading away from town. Pretty amazing. Complete silence and beauty. Hate to see traffic start rolling down it, or the developments start. It was like someone had carved a path just for us. Mostly a bunch of minor sets, besides the Brick Bank, Ferris Wheel, Slave , etc.... For example...75172...gone for weeks, now back. I get it, mostly returns and such but also these retailers "find" pallets every year.1 point

The Brick Fan is reporting that these will follow the Unikitty series with a bag in a bag. https://www.thebrickfan.com/the-lego-movie-2-collectible-minifigures-71023-box-art-and-packaging/1 point

For people who build or organize but need to move around quickly, these have been great. You can get them for about $6 each now at Walmart in store. https://www.walmart.com/ip/Sterilite-Adjustable-Ornament-Case-Infra-Red/470585491 point

Honestly, my favorite rule to live by, with LEGO investing. God forbid I never sell another set; at least I'll have lots of plastic that I enjoy.1 point

A single 41621 Weasley / Dumbledore BrickHeadz, at £14.97 just for interests sake after all the hype and enthusiasm on here. The only one with a mint box, the other two were not perfect so passed. There were 41616 Hermione Graingers, 18 of them mostly in mint boxes. £6.97 each, but I passed completely. Alarm bells ringing with there being so many left and eBay sold prices aren’t suggesting this one may be as good. I was never getting into the theme much as my rule one for buying is I need to like it.. and I don’t!1 point

I just finished Bricklinking Geoffrey. Waiting for the parts to get here. Pretty inexpensive. I’ve never seen one of the official sets in the wild, though. I don’t know if they ever made it to production.1 point

...and a few more... https://www.mastermindtoys.com/Categories/468-Boxing-Week-Sale-Lego.aspx/1/80000010^231 The Resistance Bomber at half price is tempting - minifigs look decent... in stock at my local store... decisions...1 point

Looks fantastic! And now I know just how many of those I’m going to need. I’m still negotiating a place in the house to put them up. I’m Bricklinking the SDCC/NYCC BHz. I’ll figure out stickers or something to improvise the missing things later.1 point

Built the 60182 Pickup and Caravan. I reconfigured the entry door to the passenger side of the camper. Always bugged me the the door was on the drivers side. Is the entry door on the drivers side on European models?1 point

No. Friendly advice. Don't. When the English isn't correct on the first line (free shipping on all order), it's a sign.1 point

Haha I know exactly which one you are talking about, and I have not been in there for a couple of years I don't think for exactly that reason.1 point

Sold a Pop Star Tour Bus today for $55 locally on Facebook Marketplace, made just over $16. It took a while to sell this for some reason and it never sold on BrickLink over the past two Christmas selling seasons despite lowering the price (was asking $63.95). The buyer worked for a child and family services program and that is where this set is going. He was very happy with the price and resulted in a connection for future sales / a repeat buyer. Sometimes it is not about how much we all make from a sale, but the joy it brings to someone, where it goes in the end and making connections.1 point

I just stopped bothering with them last year. The store is actually convenient for me...right across the street from a nearby Target. But the lack of accurate pricing (or even wildly inaccurate pricing signage) or an easy way to check just makes it not worth it for me.1 point

Thought it was not today, this past weekend my family and I used some of our Lego profits to buy a beagle /cocker spaniel rescue puppy. I did not even know a puppy was on the radar until a day before it happened. She is quite the little barker and is now quiet at the moment after a little training. Fingers crossed. The kids are so happy! Times like this help my wife see the value of Lego investing, if only for a moment.1 point

Not trying to shoot down improvements, but other than more store integration (trade tab), I feel like the majority of the ideas are already in Brickpicker. I've honestly spent so much of the time in the forums & portfolio, I've overlooked a lot of the work and detail that's been put in elsewhere. I haven't paid attention lately as to how often stats are updated. A few years back, I believe I read it was about monthly, but a lot has changed since then.1 point

If there would exist a company like that, I would never ever Invest a penny in that.1 point

Wow. Great idea! Or maybe, how about you add a feature where you can buy other products as well. Start with selling books, build out your distribution network, then gradually add more product categories. Oh, and a 2 day guaranteed shipment plan! And allow other people to sell on your platform too - perhaps even in a model where all they need to do is ship their products to you and you take care of the rest? What do you think?!?1 point
