The original The LEGO Movie sets will benefit from the release of this movie.1 point

There was basically a LEGO "shortage" during and after the first LEGO movie. While I don't foresee a similar situation, this movie will definitely stir more interest than the Ninjago and Batman movies. https://www.usatoday.com/story/money/nation-now/2015/10/21/european-lego-shortage/74353308/ https://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/shopping-and-consumer-news/11943951/Worldwide-Lego-shortage-tension-builds-as-toy-maker-warns-it-cant-meet-Christmas-orders.html1 point

Yeah, I fought but ultimately caved in buying various sizes of boxes after realizing the extra costs in shipping. 24x12x4 are among the stacks for that size. ?1 point

To be fair, i actually liked this set. I thought it had cool functionality and playability. But the playability in relationship to the film is the problem, like many sets in TLJ. There were effectively two fighter scenes: one with poe and another with kylo. And that is it. The bombers were featured for a whole 4 minutes and let's not even get into bombs "dropping" in space. Or the fact that the bombers basically chain-reaction blew themselves up mere seconds from their target. Is that the scene every kid really wants to relive over and over? I hope ppl make money on this set, but I'll pass.1 point

A butt-ugly ship design from a massively disappointing movie. What's not to like?1 point

Wow. Great idea! Or maybe, how about you add a feature where you can buy other products as well. Start with selling books, build out your distribution network, then gradually add more product categories. Oh, and a 2 day guaranteed shipment plan! And allow other people to sell on your platform too - perhaps even in a model where all they need to do is ship their products to you and you take care of the rest? What do you think?!?1 point

Thanks for the support, y'all. For the record, I filled up the child seat extended cart with 80 Buckingham Palaces, a couple Great Walls (also 50% off), a couple 42079 forklifts at 50% off, and some 50% off elves. Still a lot of technic and elves in this secluded section of Target, most still at 30% off, some at 50%. The rest of the architecture was rrp. This was extremely challenging with a 2.5 year old, so I also had to buy a toy school bus which was definitely not a daily deal. I left 20 in a Target in Houston, TX for anyone who wants them. The cashier at self checkout was extremely helpful even after I maxed out the Red Card and was flagged for fraud by Bank of America. Asked no questions about why I was buying and helped me load them into my car. A Target I visited 4 miles away yesterday was cleared of everything clearance except for 3 Moana sets.1 point

at first I thought lame, but those are actually lego blocks built up to look like two simple duplo blocks. kind of cool in my opinion1 point

Some of you are so paranoid. Just ship it. I make so much off 0 feedback buyers without the slightest issue. Occasionally a buyer simply wants something and gets it. Not everyone is a coupon stacking mega haggling deal hound like us, let alone dishonest!1 point

I had the same happening to me on a Dimensions Fantastic Beast starter pack once. Box looked perfectly sealed but I could hear pieces rattle inside. Luckily I caught it in store and was able to go to customer service where they opened it and of course, the bag with the minifigs was open and the minifigs were gone. Really bizarre that people go through that kind of trouble. I personally think LEGO should go back to fliptop boxes with clear plastic inserts, so you can see what you get. Or just a transparent plastic back panel.0 points

So I sold a 75157 Rex at-te factory sealed. on Christmas Day I get a msg from the customer that the set was missing the Minifigures and wanted their money back. I take pictures of the seals for my listing and no tampering at all so I politely question whether or not it was a set that came for me because as you can see in my pictures the seals are factory sealed with no tampering. They got upset and knowing I’d lose anyway if it was up to eBay so I accepted the return. I was very nice about it. So I get it back today and sure enough someone had opened it from the crease and sealed it with double sided tape. Not only that but they had 8 bags in it that they somehow had resealed??. Not only are the Minifigures missing but a lot of the more expensive parts! Who the heck would go to all that trouble. I am truly shocked!! so I believe it was somebody before eBay but didn’t know where else to post such a crazy story. All this time I thought all I had to worry about were the seals. ?0 points

Not what I built, but what I took apart. Took apart Pet Shop and Fire Brigade as I'm out of space for my modulars, and had several dark red pieces break. Not a huge surprise as I've seen the color be brittle in the past but was disappointing. Set had been built since new, so I'm sure that doesn't help.0 points

No idea. I lucked out and had my father in law buy one on Taobao for US$59. I decided to NOT buy multiples...lol. This is up there with my decision to return 10 Black Pearls.0 points
