https://m.barnesandnoble.com/b/clearance/building-lego/_/N-2o4oZ1hmc 50% off a few sets at Barnes and Noble. Mostly out of stock around me, but if you have one in your area, you might get lucky. Edit: Cargo Terminal 60169 Is at $39.99.8 points

My go to line is that I have a problem and am currently in a support group for it, but it's not working. That usually gets a strange look and then silence as they turn around and leave me alone. Or I say that I have a Lego fetish and will be taking a bath in these. That usually gets the same response.6 points

Friends Stephanie's House 41314 $40 Friends Hospital 41318 $74 SW Bounty Hunter Speeder Bike 75176 $9 Harry Potter Great Hall $74 JW T Rex Transport $40 Creator 3 in 1 Pirate Roller Coaster $545 points

Built the much-maligned 75180 Rathtar Escape for my 5 year old tonight. Actually a clever little build and gotta say, it looks better in person than the box portends. Son loves gobbling the Guavian dudes up with the Rathtars so can't complain one bit. Love the Rathtar builds---look very much like the movie when all is said and done. Purchased from the recent Target sale.5 points

I tell them I sell them if they ask that usually shuts them up . Don’t feel like I need to justify what I do . I do offer them an item to take from the cart if they really wanted one , they never take me on my offer .2 points

maybe - too early to say but there's no price to that giddy giggly rush you get when the incredible 5 year old inside of you comes out grabbing these by the handful and literally shelf swiping 6 at a time in to your other arm . there was an entire endcap of these . 5 shelves. i couldnt' even take them all there were like 16 left. as i'm grabbing sets and giggling outloud to myself, a nearby weathered wizened clearance hag & her future hag daughter at the next endcap over are becoming curious about what could they have possibly missed that i am throwing these down fast and furious like they are kilos from pablo. "what are u - an amazon seller or something?" - why yes - yes i am - what was the tip off?" lol.2 points

Here in NorCal we never got that many in the entire region, and our clearance is only 30%. Hard to make money at that amount but great snag for you!!2 points

Been shutdown a few times, have always been paid (later...never guaranteed, but...). If your salary is decent, never quit a federal job, just don't do it.2 points

And a 16-pocket apron. Seriously though, it's pretty easy to smoosh to figure out the figure inside. IMO, it's better to sell them sealed than to open it and bag them up.2 points

shop at home has (finally) added more retiring soon tags and put stuff on 20% sale. i am seeing mostly 30% off at target on above sets also on buckingham palace at a few stores. chicago is 30-50% off at multiple stores. lots of30% off dumbledore/weasley brickheadz. few stores have all the elves for 60% off.2 points

41188 was 50% off, $27.98 42076 was 30% off, $62.98 42079 was 30% off, 48.98 42063 I got them to price match BN for 50% off... they had it marked for clearance at $40.58 And I finally broke down and got a Red Card haha, but for some reason the red card gave me almost a 10% discount instead of 5%2 points

A private equity firm buying a retail giant, dismantling it and selling off the good parts before filing bankruptcy? A tale as old as time.2 points

Shopko will be going the way of KMart, Sears, and TRU soon. They just closed 39 stores in the Midwest a couple of weeks ago. I work for Pepsi and we have been told to stop delivering because they haven’t been paying their bills. Once in awhile the stars and planets align where clearance sales overlap with coupons and/or senior day. When that happens you can make some great hauls, but otherwise it’s not worth the trouble. Much better deals can be found elsewhere.2 points

That will be a standard LEGO website glitch. Shipping charges in terms and conditions still state $149. -yep , just tested it. Still $149. Crisis averted.2 points

generally the only thing anyone talks of about LEGO and WM is clearance though... but again if we can confuse terry at all into buying something by the masses I'm all for it.1 point

Not sure if this would be the right thread, but had a few items for some potential guidance for some target deals: The Last Jedi First Order Star Destroyer™ 75190 - $79.98 (2 of them) Creator Space Shuttle Explorer 31066 - $16.78 - (over 10) City Jungle Explorers Jungle Mobile Lab 60160 - $33.58 (11) Brick Bank on Backorder from Lego LEGO Shop at Home https://shop.lego.com/en-US/product/Brick-Bank-102511 point

He was pointing out how ridiculous it is for a store 900 miles away from Chicago to stock a half gross of Chicagos, not that he traveled that far to clean them out.1 point

That is SO INSANE. 72 of those, guaranteed cash money, about to retire, and you got it 50% off of an already 20% sale price. And then 5% red card (I hope). Let's say they conservatively move from 40 retail to 70 as they dry up, probably less than a year for all the B&N to dry up. You're basically picking up 50 dollar bills every time you ship one. $3600 profit in one find. Probably one of the greatest retail hauls I've seen on here. Better than the great Yellow Submarine heist from Target? Maybe.1 point

Ahhhh the classic b&n hunt in the lego aisle because they never mark there stuff.... I usually sit there with the tracker on my phone and hunt and peck. Also, learned to look behind and around everything because the shelves look like a tornado came through Sent from my SM-G900P using Brickpicker Forum mobile app1 point

Sort by quantity. You won't get an exact number but the store with the most will come up first. An hour ago I was in a store and did this. The store I was in was #2 on the list and had 4 of a set, so I knew #1 likely had 4 or more. Sent from my LG-M153 using Brickpicker Forum mobile app1 point

Architecture sets are in a descending cycle now everyone hoards them so I am off too unless 40% or more mark down. I figure Eiffelsat 65% off still have some wiggle room. Arc and Guggenheim seem to be the turds from this year. Buckingham the clear winner.1 point

60154 is the sort of City set that is quirky and not frequently remade. I´d want half price, same as with Joker Manor. The latter may even make it to 50% off in a month´s time as it is proven that no one apart from resellers buy large SH sets in Europe.1 point
