Received a delivery update and my Amazon 10261 Roller Coaster will be here sooner than expected, 12/27. Oh, and my RRP Emma’s House from Amazon that I bought Tuesday shipped and should be here tomorrow. Sometimes the time machine is good for online orders too.3 points

This is almost exactly what mine are looking like also....REALLY hoping for clearance on Technic and Architecture.....my wallet and I are ready to roll!! Those displays are eating up way too much valuable retail space...they have to be coming down right after Christmas. And then what are they going to do with all of that product that doesn't have a home? Get ready....2 points

Today my son built the 2014 version of the City Police Station with no help from me at all that I bought new a few years ago. It was great to see him take a technology break. The nerd part of me had to look in the sandwich bag I gave him to put the extra pieces in after he finished and he missed a few pieces. No worries there because I always seem to miss something when I build too. Like father, like son!2 points

This is sad. If it occurred to me, I would consider reporting the situation to Lego. Not to get any freebies or special treatment, but just so that they're aware that this person deceived you. This is a misrepresentation of the brand IMO.1 point

Clearance traditionally. Conflicted on it though as most of my targets go to 30% and after these holiday sales that seems kinda skimpy lol.... Oh well going out anyway to get clearance Christmas lights to contribute to operation Griswold House1 point

Unlucky unlucky. 60080 would have been a nice sell at 250-280 Euro next XMAS, I guess it will be 200-220 then this easter. Sometimes you win sometimes you loose.1 point

funny.. BLINQ.. I remember last year buying from them on ebay DELL enterprise storage fitted with 12x 3 TB drives.. price only 500 USD (discount of 90 %].. I asked them THREE times before commiting to purchase it whether it really has the drives inside (yes, of course, sir..if its in the descripiton they are inside).. package came 3 weeks after that, no drives inside of course.. I got them to refund me 300 USD but no more BLINQ purchases - and seeing your delivery Im glad that I made that decision.1 point

A lot of us that snagged them at $35 happened in a certain WM clearance wave near 8/2017: If you follow like you have been, I doubt you'll miss the next wave.1 point

Best: 21125 Jungle Tree House - 18 sold @ $140 eBay avg buy-in was $34 Worst: 41182 Capture of Sophie Jones - 0 sold and took down listing 2x top line sales compared to 2017. Net margin after fees/shipping/supplies was 170.12% - a 28% increase compared to previous year. Some fun data: averaged 3 min 39 seconds per package. This was printing/cutting shipping slip, retrieving set from stash, identifying right size box, and packing everything up.. Last year I used proceeds towards new master closet buildout, conversion to salt water pool, wife's $1800 gym membership, and all Xmas gifts. This year proceeds will pay for 4 RT tix & beachfront house in Turks & Caicos, kids play room makeover with big screen TV, Nintendo Switch, couches/gaming chairs, 7' air hockey table & other toys. Hoping 2019 will be enough for 1 bed/1 bath home addition. Really not up to me. It's all in the hands of the Farm Cottages now.1 point

Just sold a 75045 SW Republic AV-7 Cannon for $86. I had picked up four of them for something like $18 ea. Also sold a 75080 SW AAT ($12 cost) for $70 from the same original purchase. I also sold a 60104 City Airport. I had originally found it for $50 for my son, who decided he no longer wanted it. I was thrilled to sell it for $180.1 point

I can share them on behalf of Boliramirez: - Move to the Mexican border, ideally on the Mexican side - Schmooze up to people at the LEGO factory there - Offer them money for sets - Pay this money - Make profit on Ebay or CL1 point

I'm more for 50x 41330 Stephanie's Soccer practice. Those $10-$15 Friends sets have been doing very well for me in the past. Most of them hit 2x-3x RRP within a year of retirement (on AMZ).1 point

UCS Falcon...I’d rather buy 12 City Hospitals, Holiday Trains, or Heartlake Hospitals at full pop than sink that money into these boat anchors. For personal use, it’s a great price. For reselling, it’s quite risky and asking a lot once it retires ( probably 8 years from now). Those who think lightening will strike twice with the Falcon are in for a disappointment. Investing dollars can be spent much better elsewhere IMO.1 point

Just swing by and grab them in the Fall. They will still be there. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk1 point

Needs something... I know, Lord Dark Helmet descending from her nose and three apes on horse back. I do like the set though.1 point

Best haul I've ever had today. Got everything in the picture, including quite a lot of smaller unboxed sets, for £100! A lot of it is still mixed up in bulk, but I've been able to briefly look through and it looks like all minifigures are there. Can hardly believe my luck with this!1 point
