Depends. Do you have a habit/OCD in using a certain number of sheets regardless of how thick it is? If so, buy the normal two-ply. Calculate cost per feet is usually the “value” at look at...with a minimum two-ply of course. Don’t get the moistured ones, it just feels weird. If you want moisture, just dab some water. You don’t want too soft or it’ll just slide off, you want a nice friction to scrape it cleanly off. But it also depends on your hands and technique. In conclusion? Just poke your finger into the bag and just feel out what works for you. There, enough info?5 points

Frankly this thread has been quite boring for a while. I'm into this. Also, new guy needs to stop creating threads. Somebody mod him.3 points

My guess is "product damage" is code for buyers remorse.3 points

How the hell do you know what your wife uses? I mean, I can look in my wife's area of stuff but would have no idea on what is "in" and what it is called even if the bottle is right in front of me.3 points

I come here, see everyone commenting on Christmas gifts and postal workers... And to my horror, not a single person mentions the perfect gift. A gift which will raise the spirits of any man. Why, the very things they've stacked on our porches, thirty high for thirty days. All while contemplating, what kind of madman could possibly order this much Target, Wal-Mart and Amazon? Nobody thought to spare just one measly set for these poor souls. Shame on all of you... I am a different man. One to be remembered as a god among postal customers. They will fight over my route like starved rats. My Christmas gift will be talked and reveled about around the post office water cooler for years to come. A gift worthy of its storied past. 80101 and 80102 to be available @ lego.com.au? If true how long do ya reckon it'll last? My vote 5 minutes. https://ramblingbrick.com/2018/11/29/region-exclusive-chinese-new-year-sets-will-be-available-in-australia-new-zealand-news-80101-80102/2 points

Certain things I don't buy for my wife. Clothes and makeup are at the top of the list. Kudos to those than do.2 points

Gets on soapbox ... Gentlemen, this is a buying orgy. Just like a real orgy, small talk and asking questions is frowned upon. Everyone present acknowledges they are making poor choices they will later regret. Now take my money! Sent from my iPhone using Brickpicker Forum mobile app2 points

Usually people that set it to the buy box price when they ship it and don't realize how much the price will rise this time or year. Or they don't bump the price up on inactive stuff. If someone cancels an order or it gets refunded, it will go back to the price you last sold it at if you don't have a system to avoid that. I'm selling stuff for $10 or $15 more now than I was just on Thanksgiving so things can change that quickly.2 points

People that come into a listing at prices significantly below the buybox are really starting to annoy me. I mean, learn how to price or get off the platform. Ridiculous to be undercutting so much right now when stuff is selling. Rant over.2 points

It has been 3 or 27 most of the season. They raised it to 100+ on some listings.1 point

This. I personally value my time at 75.00 per hour and have far better things to do than piss away my day trying to save a couple bucks on Lego.1 point

If she orders online and you use the same account just check order history. I have no idea what makeup or soap she uses but know she gets it from target. Be careful though, you may not like what you find :p1 point

To be honest, I can't even remember what I ordered. My RING doorbell was doing "Jingle Bells" all morning though.1 point

I learned a few years ago ( on this forum) that packages magically start moving again as soon as you sign up for text/email alerts for the package in question. Worked like a charm again 2 weeks ago when a LEGO Shop at Home package inexplicably got stuck in the same status as you mentioned above. Just go to the tracking page and look on the right hand side of the screen for notification options. I typically select them all.1 point

No, these are used to power up certain technic sets and stuff like the amusement park sets. Trains need a completely different motor.1 point

Can we please dispense with the discussion of daily deals on the daily deals board and continue with the USPS/tipping your employee discussion....... The latter was so much more enlightening ?1 point

Was it shipped in an amazon box? If so, looks like they pulled inventory from a 3P FBA seller to fulfill your order. They do this sometimes when their on hand stock levels run dry. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk1 point

“My Blue Heaven” is a terrific movie and delivers great examples of how I feel about tipping.1 point

I know there was a discussion in Daily Deals around this. "Go big, go deep or go home" was someones remark. To put this into perspective 400 iron golems = ~32 (on sale) fishing stores. I guaranty I can sell these at 30 each for 120% profit over the next year. I placed 3 orders back to back then 2 others on a different account. Both got banned.1 point

I have been waiting for this set to drop, even slightly for months, and nothing hit that I could take advantage of. Too bad as I'd really like to have a few of these.1 point

What's funny is that hoarding Modulars has become taboo. But the worm will turn. It will become very profitable once again. LEGO will not remake all of these sets and many will not be stashed in Little Timmy's closet in mass amounts.1 point

I would have to respectfully disagree. The bank looks phenomenal with its facade and the laundering money play aspect is quite nice too. cheers!1 point

Don’t hate the players hate the game. Yes. I find it to be a little success anytime I can get lego not only before “release date” but also before ravenb.1 point
