As long as these don't come back in force with huge last production runs I would expect 300$ pretty quickly out of the gate. However, I don't expect it to hit much higher then 400-450 over the next long future. Fire Brigade is a great example of the stagnation happening at high price points. From an investment standpoint I always had relied on the set having the option of pushing 600+. If you bought at 30% discount i'd be quite happy (again barring it doesn't linger for the next 3 months).

Well it wasn't made by LEGO - Some poor schmo created it, was invited down to LEGO so they could "appreciate" his creation, then stole the design, gave him no credit, and then took all the money. At least they happily sent him a free set to serve as a constant reminder of how badly he got screwed. This for me was the day that LEGO died.

There is no sign that 2019 would be the end. Speed Champions caters for a very specific market sub-segment (collectible sport car models), it is not tied to a specific license and LEGO has no obvious substitute. This will likely stick around for a long while. I also read in an interview with LEGO designers (can't find which one) that SC did a lot to improve their small scale car designs. The challenges to replicate a shape of a specific car forced them to come up with new techniques, and this experience is now transferred over to other themes. This resulted and will result in more varied cars for the City, Creator and other themes. So LEGO has good incentives beyond direct profits to keep the theme around.

You're so grim, man. I bought bitcoin back when btc was 80 euro and ethereum in the presale and have seen a lot of crashes over the years. This one is just deeper because a lot of uncareful bets were made. If Mt Gox would not have dumped so much old bitcoin on the market it would look very different now. Just have patience for dumb money to leave. I expect bitcoin to have a 25%-50% runup in the next quarter and some alts to join. A real 10x boom of prices might hit by mid next year or end next year. The hunger for profits is still there, so a lot of money will flood in again once btc goes above 10k. My advice is to sell about half when prices are really high (at a point where you decided earlier to be happy with the profit) and buy back those coins at an earlier high point (one it was below for a long time). I sold many coins when btc was at 12k and felt bad at the time when it reached 20. Was happy when lateron I bought back those coins in the 6k-9k range.

Funny, first of all these are not grammar mistakes but typing mistakes and you should see the difference.. the reason why I usually omit this sign " ' " like dont vs. don't is that its not present on our localized keyboard layout and I would have to switch every now and then to EN keyboard just to type it - and back. So find something better and keep on mind that Im not a native speaker..

it all depends on the buy-in.. if you mean by 139 % back (in your case) that you bought one for 10 USD and sol id for 13.90 USD, thats nothing interesting. Some of mine got sold for triple and a bit over the original price (aka 10 USD buy in, 32 USD sold)
