Hi folks! I've been in a Lego brand store in Austria and they have following sets marked with a Tag as "retired soon" (Auslaufmodell 2018). The shop assistant told me that this should be mostly the final decision otherwise it will lure the customers with false information to buy the sets and that is forbidden. However, I took photos but I'm sure that I haven't got all of them photographed. Sorry for the bad pic quality but I was in a hurry. Here is the list: 10243 - Parisian Restaurant 10246 - Detective's Office 10247 - Ferris Wheel 21310 - Old Fishing Store 21312 - Women of NASA 71042 - Silent Mary 75060 - Slave I 75144 - Snowspeeder 75827 - Ghostbusters HQ Hope this helps a little bit?! Greetings, Infi8 points

Today I tried something different and set up a Lego booth at a local indoor flea market that is held three times per year. I advertised on local Facebook buy/sell groups for about a month leading up to the sale. It seemed to drum up a lot of interest since many people told me that my booth was the only reason they came to the sale. I choose this particular date since it’s right before the holiday shopping season and advertised it as such. Pros...the sale was located less than a mile from my home, so very minimal transportation issues. Lots of traffic and networking opportunities. I had some business cards printed up and handed them out. Cons...lots of prep, from pricing research to literally pricing everything, boxing everything up for transport, set up, and take down. Also, the sale only ran for six hours, from 8am-2pm. Would have been nice to go to at least 4pm. My goal was to focus on small stocking stuffers to medium sets that are priced well for gifting, and it seemed to work. I brought a few large exclusives, but mainly just to draw attention to the booth. I priced my retired sets about 20-35% below eBay sold prices, and my non retired sets below regular retail, while still maintaining an acceptable margin. Surprisingly, I didn’t have many people trying to negotiate, as many realized my pricing was more than fair. I was a little worried about that since it was a flea market / garage sale type environment. In six hours I did just over $900 in sales, mostly the small to medium sized sets I was hoping to move. All in all it was a pretty decent experience, which I will most likely try again in the future. The next sale is in January, which I’ll skip. The following sale after that is in March, which should be a decent opportunity since people will be getting their tax returns and will have some extra cash to spend.6 points

I'll take a harvester! I liked the look of the old one (have not seen new one yet). I'd really like a full out farm theme again honestly. I think it's been 9 years? 2009?2 points

Agree. I’m sure there will be people that show up in January because they didn’t buy from you, or because they bought from you today. I bet you’ll start drumming up a lot of business.2 points

Today only, there is an additional 15% off purchases of 50$+- using code UNWRAPWOW15. Applies on already discounted sets. For those that tried online this morning and it was not working, they seem to have fixed it now (worked on City Docks). Although there is the usual .94 exclusion, there seem to be a glitch if you add an item to your cart that is 50$+, it applies the 15% on the whole cart! (I didn't submit the order but it shows in cart).1 point

* Maximum $30 pints per member. Points issued within 24 hours. Valid for 14 days. Curious if that's measured in pints of blood or pints of beer ....1 point

maybe I understood differently. My point is there is always a time to buy at or over MRSP and should never be ruled out as a possibility. hopefully this better explains things .. wasn't about a particular set or me ; a lot of people do it on a large scale. anyhow nothing to see here. back to our usual retiring soon speculations . now who get a list ?1 point
