I am an authorized reseller or however you want to classify it, but I actually emailed Hasbro directly and they immediately gave me what I needed. They were very helpful and that is in diametric opposition to Lego, which told me they wouldn't give me anything. Jerks.4 points

I actually got my first positive this morning. It was for a Hasbro product that I had about 45 pages of info on. I was denied on other Hasbro products with similar documentation from them. I was also denied on most of my Legos so far. I am just going to keep going back and forth with them to extend out my FBM time on these items. I have also told them to close one of the Legos and they did. when I went to relist the item it was NOT blocked or flagged in any way. No idea what is going to happen. Dear Seller, Thank you for your interest in selling on Amazon. Your case has been verified and approved from Product Safety team. We appreciate your patience and cooperation. Thank you for selling with Amazon, Ateeq P. Amazon.com Product Compliance3 points

Actually I just received a little update and I think you can get $10gc on $50 toys in store with an actual (mailed so targeted I assume) paper coupon. That would mean one per person only though. dont take the “like” away from my previous post lol.1 point

I personally would recall or sell off as fast as possible any of my listings under question until all of this is worked out. Not worth it to me getting suspended over in Q4. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk1 point

I got my catalog today and the first thing I noticed was the recycled paper it was printed on and how the luster that really made the sets pop no longer exists. That new Capital city Set looks nice will have to pick that up at TRU on BF ?1 point

Tax collection for orders shipped to New Jersey State - Effective November 1, 2018 Based on changes to New Jersey State tax law, Amazon will begin calculating, collecting, and remitting sales and use tax for all orders shipped to customers in New Jersey on November 1, 2018. Your existing tax calculation settings, order details, and payments reporting will update automatically to reflect this change. No action to your tax settings or seller account is required.1 point

I go into the restock inventory page and then select all and "hide recommendations" every morning. My seller central shows almost 10k listings, but only about 500 to 1000 are active at any given time. My inventory score stays between 400 and 500. I have also heard that the in stock rate doesn't really impact your inventory score, but I don't know if that is true.1 point

I compiled the list of sets revealed as needing safety certifications and I'll sticky it: 10232 10722 10724 10728 10734 10735 10737 10746 10747 10808 10811 10815 10823 10855 31047 31048 31050 31051 31052 31053 31058 31062 31063 31065 41118 41119 41124 41128 41130 41149 41175 41185 42053 60147 60151 60152 70348 70349 70622 70627 70906 76081 Also, here is the Amazon Forum thread BA posted earlier: https://sellercentral.amazon.com/forums/t/toy-safety-certification-denied-product-image-rejected/425424?1 point

At least in my case, I'm dealing with thousands of dollars worth of inventory I need to quickly move with listings that aren't really selling that quickly. If someone is sitting on inventory, reads that a particular set number is involved, and also worries about being able to move it over the holidays - they may ship their stock into FBA and also dump the inventory - further bringing the price down. I'm not suggesting it's not selfish, but, this is a business. There's no rhyme or reason to which listings were chosen by Amazon to require docs except that they're consistently with the word "Toy" in the title. Not all listings with "Toy", but a portion of them. It's not just LEGO. I would guess the listings weren't originally created by Amazon (even if Amazon is still selling on them), based upon the title wording being inconsistent with other LEGO (or other brand) listings. It's also generally newer sets (roughly 2016 or newer). I have listings for thousands of sets, mostly a lot older than 2016, and didn't spot any older sets coming under scrutiny (and some of "Toy" in the title). I can tell you it includes: 10815 10808 10724 10728 41124 41130 31053 41149 10735 10734 60147 10855 70349 760811 point

So still everyone is scared to tell what sets these are because they are now selling off these sets. I dont get why it is a secret. Thanks to the few helping others out by listing the sets in question.1 point

I feel like the big black bird already told you either directly or indirectly WoN was on its way out months ago. As an investor, I don't like the set. I think it will eventually get to 3x+ RRP over time, but I will have already turned 2x - 3x on other similarly priced SKUs with much more upside over next 12 to 18 months.1 point

10x's anything in this business is a rarity and should not be used as a template for other sets in a theme. Many times, those who invested early in a new theme will benefit, but there are also situations where a theme was a poor investment...early...late...all the time.1 point

well, you are researching the wrong BH on ebay to be honest. the 10x return was only limited to some of the SDCC BH which you won't be able to buy from sah anyway. that's why I was asking where do you live in the first place. If you are not living close to SD, you have to factor in your flight ticket, accommodation etc and they will all eat up your profit. as for the regular BH, @CosmicSpeedhas said enough. just remember, for whatever theme you are going to invest, all it matters is your buy-in, that's it.1 point

Hello and welcome. Brickheadz are strange. Some, like myself, really like them. Others hate them, deeply, and with MUCH passion. Investment wise, I think Lego overestimated the first few runs with over production leaving many of the series 1 on shelves at deep discounts. With some of the retailer exclusives, the ROI has been a little better, but you can still find Wu on shop.lego along with some others. The next few seem to have been better, but places like Target keep the BH at retail for much too long with only a few sales (Currently $12 for the HP/Hedwig set for a limited time). Walmart might not even be investing them on their retail shelves, I haven't seen any of them on shelves there since the JW dual pack. Buy in at RRP is $10, $15 or $20 USD typically, which means you will need to find them at deep discount and hope for a larger return. You would need to sit on these for a long while, but the space needed for the set is minimal and you could store them easily. Again, this is coming from a fan of the theme and not investment in them. However, I have lurked here to learn a fair amount but I am not a reseller, just someone looking for good deals when they become available. Stick around and read the threads in the forum. There is a lot of good information but you need to pick and choose who you listen to because every market is different.1 point

Thought I would give some info on some trends i’ve been seeing in the store this past week, maybe help decide what sets to invest in: Lots of kids want dino sets. Almost every Dad that comes in makes a comment about wanting the Saturn V rocket. I have a used one on display and most people are amazed at the size of it. Wish I had kept more Wall-E. Only had 2 and they went quickly at $145 each. Really all of the ideas sets get positive comments from parents. Elves more popular than Friends. People have asked about Minecraft, a theme I only have very few sets of, I guess i’ll have to get more. Not much interest in Brickheadz. More interest in mixels than them. Most popular CMF is babysitter and banana guy. Also the skeleton trick-or-treater from monster series, but i’m sure that’s just seasonal. Other figs most popular are any random storm/clone trooper. As for used sets, many like the Indiana Jones sets, and mention they didn’t realize there were ever indy lego sets. I also had about 5 power miner sets that all sold really quickly on the first day. Once again, thanks for all the positive comments here!1 point

Sold my last Chima sets ... 70228 Vultrix Sky Scavenger - $42 (x2). Buy-in was $15 each. Also got rid of all 30 of my Jyn Erso Buildables as a lot. Buyin was $2.50 per set, sold for $7 each. Easy double after fees1 point
