  1. Usually if the lego sets are not selling they will lower the price. When The Black Pearl was out Costco price was $80, nobody was buying then except me, but they had so many some Costco's marked them down to $60

  7. Doesn't really matter what box you use . I have used HD , Lowe's , U-Line, recycled big store boxes ( target, walmart, etc..) boxes. They all work just fine . box cant be larger than 25x25x25 and no heavier than 50lb

  8. Still processing here, too, and we're past the the October 23 date. My ASINs in the document request are still active (and selling). I have a pro account with over a thousand discontinued LEGO ASINs listings. Only 26 required the safety documents; I don't think it has anything to do with individual/pro - just whether you so happen to be selling an ASIN that they're checking. I did get requests for non-LEGO toy products, as well.

  9. You can file another case, mark it urgent, and request that they call you in the case.

  10. Apparently Lego 's approach for these is similar to Minifigures - limited, shorter than average production runs. When they sell out of a predetermined time or quantity, they're supposedly done. We don't know which which will be the shortest, although the Limit Order is a clue. Oddly Groot had 20, whereas others have only a Limit of 3. More sets are OOS this morning, but these are TOOS, rather than sold out. More sets are out next year. Salt and pinch, as always with Lego. I suspect that Lego may be working with Amazon (who have plenty of Groot) and using the Sold Out as a marketing tactic. Nothing surprises me these days.

  12. You are clearly reading the big bold print on the front and not the tiny asterisk on the bottom that says “haters gonna hate” But he’s talking about the $10 coupon, not the $10 GC.

  13. Frustratingly lectured my 12 year old niece on basic history. She's in 7th grade, apparently near the top of her class in math, science, english, etc. But as I found out today has no grasp on history, do they just not teach it anymore? Her first guess to when the Vietnam War was in the 1700s Her second guess was the 1500s Could give me no information about WW2 or when it was and thought the Holocaust was something totally unrelated I nearly lost it when it took her almost 5 minutes to name Hitler as the leader of the Nazis. I mean he's probably the most well known person next to Jesus and Michael Jackson. Apparently it seems her history classes have almost entirely focused on ancient history, Mesopotamia, Egypt, etc and she has no grasp on anything in the past 1000 years, let alone 100. I was honestly getting worried that she didn't know what 9/11 was. It really worries me too, if a few generations from now, today's tweens are the eldest and have no recollection of history prior to 2010ish.

The guy is Japanese, for one thing.. and I dont care if its Brazilian, Russian or Chinese model.. it took some really hard time to figure out the details - such as the root of the nose (absolutely brilliant!) or the toes - sorry for misreading your original comment.. instead of Chima .. 22. we had our grand opening yesterday! Great turnout, way more than i expected, about 20 people in the store at all times from open to close! People really seemed happy with everything, no complaints so far. Kids were all very excited to see so many Lego sets and loved building minifigures. Got to meet lots of adult Lego fans too. Closed today, so I can finally get some rest, then back for more tomorrow. I had my wife and a friend help out all day yesterday but it will just be me from now on until I can hire someone else. Thanks again for all the support here!

  27. So I finally received my "inauthentic LEGO product" that was claimed from an FBA buyer. To refresh your memory, this was for a Temple of Airjitzu I sold for $315 FBA this August. The buyer filed a claim that I sold them inauthentic LEGO and then waited a few months to return the product. Meanwhile, I was dinged by Amazon and my selling privileges were in question. I appealed to Amazon with copies of my purchase receipts for the exact TOA set from Amazon and LEGO shop at home. They denied my documentation and gave me another warning. I received a box yesterday that was supposed to have my "fake" TOA set in it, and instead I get an open and partially assembled 10252 VW Beetle. The paperwork in the box says it is my 70751 Temple of Airjitzu. Is there a way to get a real person on the phone or email from AMZ to help me resolve this? I get it, scammers are going to scam, but I want to make sure I don't loose my selling privileges heading into the holidays. Any thoughts?
