I have been getting a lot of requests if people can post links of listings or to their listings on eBay or elsewhere. We are going to make the classifieds module in the forum live again and allow you to post sets, minifgures, lots, and request sets from other members. This is a very basic, but functional FREE service. Post your items and members will reach out to connect with you. No transactions are done though the site. You manage it any way you want and complete your transaction. There is a feedback module for members to leave on the transaction. There is a spot in your account settings where you can go to enter in a few defaults for each listing to save time if posting a few. You can enter in a zipcode or city, etc so that people can see where items are located. A few other contact options as well.. All listings are set for 60 days. You will have the ability to repost for another 30 after they expire. This will be a good way to keep it clean from sets that are not monitored. Just remember, the goal here is to offer some good deals so that you can move some sets. There are no commission fees so pass a bit of the savings to buyer to get more interest from people. We will build this out organically. If users find interest and have ideas where they would like to see this go, I will submit some requests with the developer of the app and see what we can get done. I posted a few quick fake listings to show people how it works and looks. Once we get some listings in here, I will add a new area to the home page of the site to bring attention to them. Again, its FREE, use it to your advantage and if you get some sales going, those will be some good extra profits you can hold onto. New Menu Options Trader Feedback added to your profile!9 points

Barnes and Noble has a $5 off for each $25 spent on toys (just add to cart)…But it seems it will also stacks with the 15% off (code BNFRIENDS (one time use)) on some Lego products. I was able to use it in one order for an Old Fishing Store $102.49 before tax and a Downtown Diner $119.49 before tax, but will not combine for some Lego sets. Also, Raise has a 4% off code for everything…code: “EXTRA”….to get additional discount on Barnes and Noble gift cards. Edit: Works on Nasa Apollo V, UCS Slave I, Death Star, Brick Bank, Speed Champions, and Ghostbuster Firehouse, too7 points

Time to fire up the My Order Status thread. 15 City Hospitals and 5 Old Fishing Stores from B&N all just received cancellation emails. I'll meet you guys over there.2 points

The idea behind the treehouse alone is wonderfully fun and has me think of Swiss Family Robinson same as Exciter1 pointed out. With the secret side area in LEGO Dimensions having you very briefly visiting the Flintstones home, seeing the project getting approved is not a surprise but still a welcome confirmation. I now wonder what else of Hanna-Barbara's lineage may get LEGO-fied in the future (in physical or digital form).2 points

That brand auto approved for me. All of the toys on the top 100 page that i've tried have auto approved for me. I'm not sure why some people are being restricted on stuff like the Harry Potter sets and some of us are still fine on them.1 point

My 6 year daughter has been talking about living in a treehouse when she grows up since she was 3. I showed her some picks of it and she's hoping that it's modular like and that she can get a couple to build a giant treehouse. Just one little girl's opinion about this set... At the very least, I'll be getting two of them.1 point

A bunch of people got the e-mails about certain items (Like Former Toys R Us exclusives that Amazon now has) being restricted after 11/17 with no impact to your account or anything. I don't think they have anything to do with holiday gating or top 100 toys gating for the holidays. I assume the restriction will remain after the holidays on those items. I will be cautious with Amazon exclusive flipping from here on out unless they will sell on Ebay. I remember getting stuck with those free Amazon holiday Gund bears after they restricted them (even though i'm approved in Gund.) I think Newbie is the only one here that has gotten that Trademark Lego protection e-mail. I have only seen people get that one on mini-figure listings (from parting out), Lego bundle listings/duplicate listings, or unofficial items that are "compatible" with Lego. I'm curious to know what ASIN(s) he got that trademark e-mail about and if it was really just a regular Lego set.1 point

Some days, like today, I feel my pinky toe. And I get this weird sense of loss like noticing an empty space in a crayon box, and I feel like there's supposed to be a 6th, even smaller toe, and it's missing. Also, I decided I'm going to be Santa Claus for Halloween and ordered this mask.1 point

I fixed the title. I feel like Mandalore and the The Mandalorians were covered beyond thoroughly in "The Clone Wars" and "Rebels", so I hope they don't go back to the well too many times.1 point

Not sure what got you so worked up. All I did was provide names for the set numbers you posted, so that others would know what you were referring to without having to go in and look it up. Purely meant as help, no bad intentions.1 point

That's the first time for me seeing the treehouse. They could slap the Disney Swiss Family Robinson license on that thing.1 point

This actually looks pretty sweet from the front. If anyone has been following the VR Oculus Quest that's coming out this spring alongside Vader Immortal... it looks kinda bad @$$.1 point

Why do I feel like Lego could release a set that is universally recognized as a true work of art and you'd be posting some negative sh** about it 0 seconds flat? Sent from my SM-G965U using Brickpicker Forum mobile app1 point

Traction Engine - Brick Built Version Hi everyone. I've recently completed work on a brick built version of The Old Workhorse Traction Engine. I've had to swap some colours around to reflect Lego parts and colours that are currently in production. I've also made a few minor improvements to the design of the model which I will detail below. For now I've only built the Traction Engine portion of the set but I'm working on the wagon and other bits so I will post pictures of those too when they're complete. Brick Built Version of The Old Workhorse by Bricked1980, on Flickr Brick Built Version of The Old Workhorse by Bricked1980, on Flickr Brick Built Version of The Old Workhorse by Bricked1980, on Flickr Brick Built Version of The Old Workhorse by Bricked1980, on Flickr Brick Built Version of The Old Workhorse by Bricked1980, on Flickr Apart from the colour scheme, probably the most noticeable change to the design is the new style funnel. I've redesigned this to have the appearance of a brass cap and a tapered shape towards the top which is more true to how a real traction engine funnel should look. I've also redesigned some of the details on top of the boiler, behind the funnel to appear more realistic and to give added stability. Brick Built Version of The Old Workhorse by Bricked1980, on Flickr For the brick built version I decided to use a 2 tone colour scheme for the main body. The lower half is in earth green and the upper section of the cab and boiler are dark green. Unfortunately the spoked wheels are not available in red so I used reddish brown instead. I'm pleased with how the new colour scheme has worked out, it has quite a rustic look. My preference would still be for the model to be produced in the livery used in the original rendered model though, if ever it was lucky enough to go all the way on LEGO Ideas. I do think the lighter shade contrasts nicely with the gold though. Let me know what you think. Please feel free to let me know what you think. There are more pictures in my Flickr album including a short video clip of the model. If you like the model I'd also be really grateful if you could please give it your support over on LEGO Ideas if you've not done already. Thanks very much.
