  2. Just wanted to confirm that the post office modular is indeed just my MOC building "Brick Square Post Office". That box art shot is just something I knocked together in photoshop yesterday, but I apologise if it has tricked anyone, that definitely wasn't my intention. When I build my own modulars I always try and present them using similar backgrounds and camera angles to help them appear similar to official modulars. A couple of examples below... I created the box art shot to share on my instagram. I have posted many shots of my Post Office on there before and only have a small following so I assumed that people would realise it was just another fancy way of presenting my model. Perhaps it was a step too far though and I deleted the picture as soon as I heard that rumors had started to circulate about it. It had only been online for a few hours. You are right. The image is basically just the Downtown Dinner box with my model photoshopped on to it. Yes the mail van in the shot with my Steam Engine is the same one from the Post Office. Here is another picture with them all together. Once again, sorry folks if that picture tricked anyone.

  4. Hmm, makes it seem like the Minidolls still arent successful. I dont see them canceling them, but as a father of daughters who have Disney sets and some Friends, why doesnt Lego provide more Minidolls like they do Figures? I know it isnt relevant specifically to this thread, but its pretty annoying when you have almost all of the Little Mermaid sets and have countless Ariels (one with legs), but one Ursula and two Prince Erics. I know its a result of the story itself but if Lego really is committed to the Minidolls, they need to move beyond "branded" Friends and Disney sets and introduce generic ones like the Minifigures. My daughters can make up their own stories and adventures, do they really need to establish backstories and themes across multiple years? Im sure Lego has done research on their target market, but as an AFOL father looking from the outside, they should make some changes. /rant Sent from my VS995 using Brickpicker Forum mobile app

  13. LEGO City line will sell more if they will stop repeating the same old crap. Give us something new that we see everyday in the city. So many possibilities. Sure, I get police, fire stations maybe their "bread and butter" and go ahead and refresh it every 2-3 years. Just not every year with a slightly tweak.

  15. All toys are excluded from coupons now. That's why they changed all their toy pricing back to RRP a few weeks back. All part of their new strategy to get some of the old TRU business.

  18. Lego now at Kohl's. I haven't seen it in store yet. Online are few selections from almost every line. I am sure Lego will be excluded from the constant 30% off coupons, but Kohl's cash should be no problem. https://www.kohls.com/catalog/toys-lego.jsp?CN=Activity:Toys+PersonaCategory:LEGO&S=1&PPP=60
