  5. What we have seen today is a very aggressive Amazon attack on Argos. First match their prices and then undercut them 2 days later with their own extra promotion. This will trigger loads of potential returns at Argos - a real headache both financially and logistically. Argos won't do a 3 for 2 again if this is Amazon's response. With TRU and Tesco Direct gone, Jeff now wants Argos out the way.

  6. Everyone is entitled to an opinion as “mustcatsfan” stated earlier on this thread, and much like “LegoAddict42”, I Too saw Saw” Star Wars” as a kid but not in the 90’s re-released “special edition”, but in the hot summer of 77 at a mall that isn’t even there anymore bulldozed to make way for a Walmart, so here’s My “Opinion”.. The Last Jedi isn’t Cannon at all it went on a tangent from JJ’s episode 7(if you enjoyed ep7) threw to OT Lore in the trash, for instance, from my my point of view, Luke Skywalker would Never ever never Never ever NEVER do the things “Ryan round head Johnson” had him do scripted in that film of his, Not to mention a long heart wrenching list of things to add of which I’ll keep to myself to keep this short. Let’s talk 75192 Has the last Jedi Influenced it’s potential sales? Short run Yes, long run no, But because of the poor care of this franchise the 75192 will never come close to the 10179 holy grail numbers of over $10,000. I wouldn’t expect much from Ryan Johnson, kathy Kenny is expected to step down all all bets are off of any promises made to that round headed guy touching Disney’s over 4 billion dollar asset that so far has single handedly tanked most or all Star Wars product, put toys r us into a permanent vacation and dominoed All toy and Lego collecting into a panic. Not too mention the 80 million dollar loss of the Han SOLO movie which is a direct consequence of TLJ. so when TLG released all these Lego Han Solo sets at those rediculous Disney license Inflated prices I was literally Laughing MY Bricks off Thankfully despite what Disney wants Turner Classic Movies still Owns the rights to stream The Original trilogy and won’t give em up-lol Overall I still think the 75192 is a great Investment to True Fans of the OT, but the new stuff... nawww cause something is only considered “Cannon” if the fans can swallow it and the Last Jedi is retail Poison. Cheers and I agree to disagree

  7. Counter opinion for equal representation. TLJ was inspiring and original and I plan on spending late fall 2019 in Disney World at the new star wars galaxy edge with my son and wife. i look forward to spending tens of thousands of dollars on star wars before i die and most star wars fans i know feel the same. I used to try to change people's minds about the last jedi, but instead, i respect your opinion to feel exactly the opposite as me, just putting this out there so not every message about star wars is doom and gloom. To each their own.

  8. Yes have to admit that was a one off and I did have to spend an enormous amount of time tracking them. Lets just hope Argos and Asda stay in the game.

  9. Very nice. Sadly 75% off any set is unlikely to be repeated in such quantities. Nearly every retailer has limits now. Ah, the good old days....

  13. There was some good stuff. BB8 £37 and Pirate rollercoaster £33 were good deals. Also Speed Champions worked out at -50%. Infinity Wars was all about -50% (apart from Sanctorum). All HP was available early on, Fantastic Beasts -50% and most Jurassic World was also -50%. Not sure these were turkeys.

  16. If you fill your cart and checkout in my store, you will have the option of "request invoice", which this sends me an email and my store an order showing what you have ordered. I fill out the shipping costs and then send you the invoice. You pay the invoice through Paypal and when I show that the invoice is paid I send the parts. Since you are not seeing the option to have an invoice sent to you and are being prompted to Paypal for instant checkout, it appears that is the only process for payment that this seller has set up and has not updated their terms that they are showing. If this store really has what you need, and you agree to the shipping charges that show up on the order page, go ahead and process the order through Paypal. It's really simple. I haven't set up instant checkout simply because there were some bugs when it was new so I waited them out but have yet to get around to setting it up.

  17. I agree with Huskers Also, I'd probably just find another seller if they haven't replied to a message for several days. You could always check their feedback history to see how active they are and how recently they completed a sale.

  18. It's possible the seller hasn't updated their terms since automatic payment became a reality a few months ago. If they have automatic payment, you will be prompted automatically to paypal to finish the transaction. Since my store does not have this feature, I have to send an invoice which you would pay from. Unfortunately, this seller doesn't seem to be bothered by being asked a question about their store. If you just had items in a shopping cart and never finalized the checkout, they will disappear at some point and no, the seller cannot see that there is a shopping cart out there, at least I've never seen one in my store.

  23. Strange but true, I used to face shelves when I worked retail decades ago and now when I’m in LEGO aisles at various places I find myself cleaning up their lego displays while searching for stuff. I like to know what’s being hidden from me

  24. My son won the Hedwig statuette as a contest award at our target. Stickers on bottom: LEGO Production s.r.o. This product is designed for public contact This is not a toy. For indoor use only Product name: HP Owl on Book Product No.6258073 Production date: 15.05.2018 1435 I assume the last number (separate sticker) is some sort of sequence number in the series, the date is in euro format. Any idea as to the value of such a thing? Not interested in selling, just curious as to rarity, collectability, etc. It's very cool, and my son is a HP fan and will enjoy this very special addition to his collection!
