  1. Built the CR-90 Corvette Transporter to add to my Rebel fleet. Just under 3,000 pieces and a credit to the designer Mortesev.

  3. Walmart Canada has reduced these to $119.89 (about $90USD)...usually a decent indication that these are on the way out. At least from my experience.

  5. It's possible the seller hasn't updated their terms since automatic payment became a reality a few months ago. If they have automatic payment, you will be prompted automatically to paypal to finish the transaction. Since my store does not have this feature, I have to send an invoice which you would pay from. Unfortunately, this seller doesn't seem to be bothered by being asked a question about their store. If you just had items in a shopping cart and never finalized the checkout, they will disappear at some point and no, the seller cannot see that there is a shopping cart out there, at least I've never seen one in my store.

  6. It might not be across the entire run but batches I have bought have had the same placement through 10-20 cases or so (Disney and TLBM). Went through 50-100 cases of each of those and they definitely had consistent placement. I do think later runs though it would change some and those cases would be very close to the same as well.

  9. I agree with Huskers Also, I'd probably just find another seller if they haven't replied to a message for several days. You could always check their feedback history to see how active they are and how recently they completed a sale.

  10. Nearly identical to Dimensions build except I think windows are blue translucent in BN build and clear in Dimensions build.

  11. Ours was also sold out. I'd bought maybe 8 from the box, 2 days later box is gone. Squat showing up at Walmarts, in the middle of resetting Lego aisle for new sets. Target had some but gone also, haven't seen since.

  13. Resistance Bomber 75188 down to $99 ($180) at Big W. I got the star Destroyer for $99, thank you for the tip Furious G (normally $230, they wouldn't take a further %20 off for me).

  15. By the way, bad news for those who have not made requests yet! We are completely out of boxes to sell for pre-orders! I can sell sets of 16 still, but I cannot complete any further invoices on the boxes or sets of 6. Sorry! We will do our best to procure more inventory and post again as soon as we have more stock.

  16. Glad to hear you are a pro and have been through this rodeo before period I assume so but figured it was worth asking as we have seen some folks come to that realization painfully. The more I think about selling just a few sets the more I like the idea. You can really focus and streamline as you said buying the same packing materials the same boxes etc. If you know a particular set is going to be a winner why not go big? Make sense to me.

  17. Its always easier to only have one investment (Lego set, stock market, etc). Simplifies logistics and allows you to focus on maximizing profit of the single investment. Easier to know the market of that niche. However there is a lot of inherent risk and downsides (as some have stated): Getting them in bulk with discounts is difficult. Often requiring you to hold a lot of stock for a while as you mass purchase as they go on sale. If the set ends up being a lemon. Your entire portfolio is lemon. Pushing a lot of units to the market WILL cause the price to drop. It will take time to get max dollars. With the delay of your investment money coming back reduces your ability to reinvest.

  18. It's definitely an interesting approach, but what I do not get is how you can accumulate that amount of a single set with discounts. I'd imagine you'd have to pay full price on that set you do end up choosing to invest in.

  19. Actually, selling 1,000 units on EBAY would be very easy compared to 1,000 different sets. One listing, repeated. One style box for shipping, repeated. I think his theory makes sense, as long as you have 1,000 buyers for the set.

  20. sorry if this is a ridiculous question, but have you had much experience selling? some find the buying fun and the selling excruciating. selling 1000 units of lego sets could take quite a bit of work one set twosey. or do you plan to offload in bulk? asking because I care, not to insult.

  22. Funny that their "flagship" store is in the UK instead of Denmark. I hear the new "flagship" store will be in Beijing, China...next to the Lepin "flagship" store.
