If it seems to good to be true........ Prepare for cancellations! BTW......this is my 1000th post!!! Only took me 5.5 years!12 points

Probably a price mistake, and will only get one bag (or cancellation), but worth the risk IMO. LEGO Minifigures Minifigures 2018_3 Box Building Kit (60 Pack), Multicolor - $3.993 points

I have had similar orders in the past where the price was for a single, but the description was for a multi-pack (from amazon). I would say 50% of the time I got the multi-pack, and 50% I got a single. When I got the single however, I contacted Amazon and every time they refunded my entire purchase and let me keep the single. Edit: 1 more supporting item in the description, product dimension and item weight also correspond to 60 ct. box.2 points

Ouch... The mysterious #57 reveals itself. Seems legit, but could be a hoax. Maybe this gets a Canada release if true. Instructions can be found here:https://www.lego.com/biassets/bi/6242059.pdf2 points

Yesterday I also picked up 3 X 70632 Quake Mech (Ninjago) for $69 (Lego price $160) each from local Target. They were high up on top shelf with yellow discount ticket, covered in dust. Not sure if a local store price or not, maybe worth doing price check if you come across in Target. Large box is my only concern for resale but huge discount = win. Im having a good week, I also came across a series 18 minfigures box at supermarket with 3 figures left and 1 of those was the policeman! Mind you I probably felt my way through 20+ boxes over the last month without success looking for the cop.1 point

Funny that their "flagship" store is in the UK instead of Denmark. I hear the new "flagship" store will be in Beijing, China...next to the Lepin "flagship" store.1 point

Well, I suppose it's because Lego consider this their "Flagship" store as well as largest store in the world. As a London boy I'd say it's because the store is in the greatest city in the world ;-) Sent from my SM-N9005 using Tapatalk1 point

Yes it is, but they didn’t get that way by losing over $250 per sale. That being said, I really hope my order goes through. Amazon needs to understand that, “You never mess with a Brickpicker when a deal is on the line!”1 point

Still up on mine. If you've already ordered them or their algorithm decides you've ordered them from a different account, it will adjust to 0. I'm crossing my fingers that this deal is still around in a week so I can order more. ?1 point

If you're needing shelving, while you're out grabbing LEGO, you might check for Edsal 48"W x 18"D x 72"H Ultra Rack. I have a few of these and love them. They've dropped from $69 to $49 today in a bunch of Walmart stores. SKU is 23565868.1 point

Stopped in the local Lego store and they had the last three boxes out........ Apparently there was a long line this morning and they blew through a ton before noon. I focused on the last third of the left hand row for about 10 min and was able to pull 2 Percivals.......... Also grabbed 6 randoms for friend at work since I have a box coming anyway. Yeah buddy.........1 point

I made a $650 sale via Bricklink that included my only two Piggy Pirate Ships (163% gain), all four Riddler Riddle Racers (460% gain), and my only three Nexo sets, Jestro's Volcano Lair (59% gain). What makes this sale more notable is that it pushed my "cash on hand" total to over $10,000 for the first time ever (combined PayPal and actual cash). I'm stacked on cash for the next round of Walmart price drops, but that isn't coming........ Not sure how my $10k stacks up against others in this hobby (and it doesn't matter), but I feel like that's a good landmark and makes me feel like I'm coming out ahead on this. Someday I might even tell my wife how much cash on hand there is! Knowing that within 24 hours of that announcement, there will be someone at the house generating a quote for new floors on the main level.1 point

This is difference between being owned by a privately held company versus being publicly owned and laden with debt?1 point

The closing of TRU still hurts, it's difficult for me to think about TRU without some emotional attachment given that I grew up on TRU like many folks. One very interesting thing - I was in Asia recently, and TRU continues to THRIVE over there. Here is a picture of a TRU in Hong Kong. It was very crowded, and difficult to move around. Items were flying off the shelves, and the LEGO section was stocked with all the latest stuff. It was awesome. Somehow and some way, I still hold out hope that TRU may return some day. We will see.1 point

So you are partially responsible for the demise of TRU, or banning you caused them to go bankrupt, either way1 point

even though its gathering speed its a turd compared to its peers - its selling for the same price as PET SHOP which had same MSRP and was also discounted. except that fairground mixer had a 1 year lead time on retirement so cagr wise its doing even worse than much maligned Pet Shop. so glad i didn't go crazy on these. so glad i bought ferrari's instead. using lowest FBA price as reference relative to MSRP. Pet Shop: 1.66 MSRP Fairground Mixer: 1.66x MSRP price Simpsons House: 1.85x of MSRP price Kwik E Mart: : 2.00x of MSRP price Minecraft The Village: 1.75x of MSRP Simpsons and the village are doing very well factoring in their recent retirement. still nothing like the ultimate turd of all time: Tower or Orthanc - 1.27x msrp1 point

ToysRUs.com blew them out at $80. They banned me after a few orders and some $170 Sandcrawlers.1 point

Prime Day worked out pretty well for me. It arrived yesterday in a giant box. And as Jackie Chiles once said in open court.... It did not survive the transit in one piece, but the seller was a fool for even trying. It was dusty from being on display, but everything looked to be in good shape. I subcontracted the teardown process to my 2 year old. He had fun taking pieces off and putting them in the 2 gallon bags. The whole thing fit easily in a 12x18x18 box, which surely would have been cheaper to ship for the seller. Once we finished ripping it down enough for it to be bagged I tossed him in the tub and he got a popsicle for being my helper. So this gives me now a pair of 10221 SSD's. I'll flip this one at some point soon.1 point
