I say you have until at least one and a half year to get all the harry Potter sets, Lego is not going to have a $400 Exclusive and retire the theme in A year, now I no I said I am retiring from Lego but the Harry Potter them is a pure winner, I will be buying 1 Train at least once a month, along with a few others. check out these awesome giant lego bricks i got tonight from craigslist! paid $40 total for the pair. seller said he’s had them in his attic for at least 15 years after getting them from playworld toy store. i had completely forgotten about lionel playworld until he said it, but now i kind of remember the kangaroo mascot and tv commercials in the 80’s. i’m going to try to clean them up as best i can tomorrow, they’re very dirty and scratched up. i may have to sand and paint them. they are plastic and even stack like real lego bricks.

If you can flip it locally, you can make out well. Prices will end up hovering on eBay between $215 and $220 with free shipping as the quick flippers undercut one another. $220 - (10% ebay + 2.9% Paypal + .30 paypal transaction fee) = $191.32 Shipping close to you will run ~$10. Across the country will be closer to ~$20 With a buy in of $160.99 plus tax in most states (we will go with 5%) that puts you at $169.04 Once you add in shipping you're at a less than $15 profit if you try to fight the horde. Obviously the numbers are quite volatile, but this is a better buy for yourself than for profit at this point. The good thing helping this is the fact that it's out of stock and on backorder at SaH, so there may be a small window if it is unavailable at retail. If it bounces back quick it will be a battle to make any real profit.

I made a $650 sale via Bricklink that included my only two Piggy Pirate Ships (163% gain), all four Riddler Riddle Racers (460% gain), and my only three Nexo sets, Jestro's Volcano Lair (59% gain). What makes this sale more notable is that it pushed my "cash on hand" total to over $10,000 for the first time ever (combined PayPal and actual cash). I'm stacked on cash for the next round of Walmart price drops, but that isn't coming........ Not sure how my $10k stacks up against others in this hobby (and it doesn't matter), but I feel like that's a good landmark and makes me feel like I'm coming out ahead on this. Someday I might even tell my wife how much cash on hand there is! Knowing that within 24 hours of that announcement, there will be someone at the house generating a quote for new floors on the main level.

This is exactly why I just bought one for me and my daughter to build. We’ve been waiting for this to release and add to Ninjago City since I saw it on the shelf in Legoland Billund in May. I planned on waiting for a good SAH promo to buy it, but this deal was way better. I also got to use a 10% off coupon that I had received when picking up a Site-To-Store order, so my buy in was $145 or so before tax. The coupon was good for up to $200 in spend, so I added on a Ninjago Throne Room 70651 priced at $15.99 (20% off) and a Cloud-Rider Swoop Bikes set 75215 priced at $23.99 (also 20% off). Total for all three after tax was $193.

Strange but true, I used to face shelves when I worked retail decades ago and now when I’m in LEGO aisles at various places I find myself cleaning up their lego displays while searching for stuff. I like to know what’s being hidden from me
