My son won the Hedwig statuette as a contest award at our target. Stickers on bottom: LEGO Production s.r.o. This product is designed for public contact This is not a toy. For indoor use only Product name: HP Owl on Book Product No.6258073 Production date: 15.05.2018 1435 I assume the last number (separate sticker) is some sort of sequence number in the series, the date is in euro format. Any idea as to the value of such a thing? Not interested in selling, just curious as to rarity, collectability, etc. It's very cool, and my son is a HP fan and will enjoy this very special addition to his collection!5 points

Knight Bus - $160 on eBay Best thing that ever happened to non-remade Harry Potter sets is the new releases. It has spurred some serious interest in the old stuff...3 points

It will grant you almost all the benefits the UCS falcon card has.2 points

Hey I'm all for a nice quick flip. Just don't post 25 times ripping people for doing it and talking of patience and holding then do the same damn thing for less profit then the original flippers you were ripping.2 points

I often buy new exclusives when they come out, even with the markup. I like to educate myself on the product.1 point

Hey Guys, I have just been going through updating my spreadsheet against the latest BP price database update. I'm in the UK. None of the non US price have %-change against them. And some of them looked odd. For example 21309 jumping to approx. £149 when a quick check on eBay showed £120 max. Or 4755 Knight Bus dropping from £75 in Feb (the last update) to £16! for a sealed box. Also all series one Brick Headz prices vanishing. Now all are zero. Likewise with the newer ideas sets. Then, by chance I noticed for one set I was typing in identical prices that I typed in 12 months ago. I randomly checked a few other sets in my portfolio and the same thing occurred. For example. 42031, 10247, 31026 & 10242. Admittedly not all are showing this but too many for a con-incidence. Some sets appear to be showing 2017 information. Is there a problem with the non US pricing?1 point

How, when he stated that he was buying for 19.99 and sold for 18? Thats some crazy awesome math there. I would also add the he and sellers like him are the reason for stores tightening up return policies. How many 9515 did he buy, brag about, then freak out and return badgering some poor retail employee? Just like emazers had a large part in eliminating lego from B&N coupons because he abused them on a massive scale. They are the ones that give resellers a bad name and need to be called out on it.1 point

And now the picture frame I have been working on is done in a pair no less. To the left is the primary design with an inner tile backing whereas the alternate on the right is without plus an outer layer of plates has been removed to match. I have a rather 'hipster' tendency with builds trying to make them all smooth and spiffy but I realized you would not even see the inner side at all giving little point to smoothing the inside as I did hence the alternate with such layers removed. Still the tiles do look better than the open studs not to mention bringing out the front just a bit further for a fuller frame. Like before, the colors used are simply to help differentiate sections and in this case build layers. A view from the back (nothing changed between the two). This whole mass of plates (blue and red layers specifically) consumed the most time than anything else needing to rearrange & redesign over again in an effort to get every piece to overlap each other functionally. The rounded corner plates are probably more aesthetic than structure but I like them over the square counterparts. A cutaway of the front tile layer to show the depth where the photo would reside inside. Since the one on the right has an open layer of studs occupying some of the picture's intended area (1.8 millimeters roughly), there is less area for the photo to 'float' around in. Same as the prior design with a Technic axle for support in each pillar only considerably slimmer this time around. If anything this direction is basically the axle with a little dressing using Technic tubes. To note I used a smaller length axle here. A closer underside back view of the coupling with Technic friction axle/pin connecting the frame to the pillar. Finally all three designs so far together for comparison though really it's two and a mod. And there is another one done. Same as before the Digital Designer file should be attached to the bottom of this post. I would recommend downloading this updated one instead as all three designs is included plus each has proper grouping allowing you to view every section or layer with relative ease. Final thoughts, I am proud of this one. Overall it was more interesting putting together and is appearance wise in particular the pillars. The first version's does their part but visually they are rather simple with the billboard stuck on top while here integrated much better into the main model itself. Additionally I feel as though the slim support will look better next to a set of Architecture than the former but that is only my opinion. This frame does utilize a number of pieces sitting at two hundred and three with the alternate using less at one hundred and thirty three; however it should be structurally sound and easy on the hands when building. Anyway I may have another method to try perhaps using noticeably less parts than this one. picture frame - set.lxf1 point

Hi guys, i guess today was a lucky day for me. I just bought this lot for 192 €. (via a site similar to craigslist) The sets are new, 2 of them (6892, 6374) are blistered. I’d like to sell all of them. Therefore i did some research. I checked the sold listings on ebay.de / ebay.com / bricklink / brickset / google. Here are my results: next to the item number is the price i paid. 6892: 20 € 250 $ Misb ebay.com / 85 € used ebay.de 6673: 12 € 73 $ Misb ebay.com (Poland) / 99 € Misb ebay.de / 62 € ebay.de (Poland) / 72 € Belgium Bricklink 6931: 30 € 180 $ Misb ebay.com / 286 € ebay.de / 777 € Bricklink (one listing) 6374: 50 € 112 € used Bricklink (no offer MISB!) / 90 € ebay.de used! / 999 $ MISB ebay.com (listing was removed!) 6941: 55 € Brickset: value: 255 € 6563: 25 € 72 € ebay.de (Greece) / 68 € ebay.com Could you guys tell me your opinion of the current market value of those sets. (especially 6374… i couldn’t find a lot of value information to this set) Thank’s for your help!!!1 point

That was a bit unusual although I do understand how for the most part the model may simply be built then placed on display rendering the play features somewhat meaningless since no one would be, well, playing with them therefore paying for extra details. However if this model did not have all those tricks under the hood then the car would have just been an Aston Martin DB5, not James Bond's at all. Honestly I am impressed with everything they did manage to cram into the vehicle ....even the red phone in the door. Haha.1 point

Others have already touched on the various methods to move Lego, so I've got nothing to add to those excellent suggestions, but what you just said is why I would box it all up and store it. It sounds like Lego was your husbands passion. The kids might say now that they don't want them, but all kids go through their "dark ages" when Lego isn't very high on their interest level. Twenty years from now when they are going through the attic and they come across their fathers old collection I bet they will be grateful that you held onto it. It will bring back many great memories. Unless you absolutely need the money, I'd consider hanging onto it. I wish you the best with whatever direction you decide to take.1 point
