  3. I am not a star wars fan. I have no merchandise, collectibles, pops, figs or whatever, besides what I have for resale. I’m meh on OT, PT or the new movies, they are just disposable entertainment for me. I own the clones wars seasons. I own no other animated series. Content matters.

  7. Awesome news! Just the other day I was re-watching some CW episodes and even picked up a 8037 Anakin's Y-wing Starfighter for my personal build collection. Hopefully Lego releases some worthy CW sets...

  8. These 12 episodes are the ones they cancelled when Disney bought LucasFilms. As far as I am concerned, Di$$ney has not even began to milk the CW cow yet. The series should end after these 12 episodes. Otherwise I am afraid Disney is going to mishandle CW too

  10. I almost got goose bumps watching the trailer. Do you think this raises value on Yoda (well all) Jedi Starfighters?

  11. Best Star Wars news in a while. Maybe we will get a wave without a remake. Maybe. Can’t wait to see some clone battle action again!

  12. in my 7 months of studying abroad I found myself intrigued by this new idea and actually took part a few times. Queueing can be quite fun with the right crowd for the right end goal. The two we joined ended up getting a free pint and tshirt for one and tickets to a football match to the other. Met some quality people too! We all must admit, the demographic of people once you mention anything 'free' will change drastically from people say waiting to purchase a $200 lego set $500 game console or $800 iphone. Those are waaaaaay different crowds. Thats a sexy beast! Back on topic not that the queueing theory isnt tantilizing conversation. Its clear Lego understands their target market. British AFOLS seem to be more likely to spend on Lego than any other nation so why not target that audience with their interests and nostalgia? Looking at you LBridge, Lbus, Mcooper, BBen, etc. all AFOL targeted. Not to mention 007 is a global brand and has a small market in most countries these days which equals more $. (not what it used to be) It just didnt hit the mark with visual apeal and play function. Its too bad so much style was sacrificed for a handful of playfeatures. Otherwise it would have been a day 1 purchase for all the car collectors too. The same could be said with Voltron and the US AFOL market, although the cartoon was also a giant hit in Asia so there is the potential for a larger initial sales/market. Europe/UK seem to have missed the Voltron train.

  15. March 30, 2018. This is a date that will forever be remembered. I can get a little emotional at times. As an adult, there are a few instances when I've shed a tear. I cried when my son was born. I cried again a year later when my daughter was born. I cried tears of joy when my beloved Green Bay Packers won Super Bowl 31 after three decades of mediocrity, and again when they won Super Bowl 45. The last time I cried was two years ago this April when my Mom passed away. March 30, 2018. Today is another day that I've sobbed like a baby. Upon waking up for work, I checked my phone like I always do. Waiting for me was a PayPal notification. A large one. I checked my Bricklink account, and it appears that some blessed soul has decided that they needed some Steam Rollers in their life. Yes, some Steam Rollers. All of them. 27 to be exact. Gone. Purchased by an unknown person. A risk taker. A gambler. A guardian angel, perhaps? I began this saga with over 50 of those Steam Rollers. I'd sell one here, one there through multiple platforms, slowly chipping away at that number. I whittled it down to 27. Now I have 0. They are gone. The purchase price was just a shade over $1k. I'll make a few bucks on each one after the usual fees and shipping, but that's not the point in this circumstance. The nightmare is finally over. March 30, 2018 is my Independance Day.
