  1. Yes. You're right. My brain went on cruise control and instantly went into "If they don't sell LEGO they must not exist" mode.

  2. I've had some items arrived poorly packed, but I've only been hit by an eBay scammer once (a simpsons house ~6 months ago :( ). Too many people scoffing at listings assuming there is no way someone would sell at that price, while I'm busy messaging sellers. So many people out there have no idea the true value of an item just trying to unload it... truly an online yard sale at times. I roll the dice on listings like this all the time and it makes for large profit. I've had my highest profit margins on old retired sets bought and flipped right back on eBay. Worst case if I get garbage sent to me is that I pack it up just how it arrived and set it out for pickup. Not really a difficult process. But I'm not assuming bogus bricks with the Lego booklet, but we're all surprised from time to time. Indeed. I figure a large enough bag I can flip individually. It's a new market for me, but someone around here has to have it cornered already. Is there a price discrepancy based on size and color? Any rare items out there I should be on the look for? _____________________________________________________ Received the email from the seller yesterday evening saying the item was shipped. So the iShip notification I received with the tracking information has the dimensional weight at 44 pounds. Which UPS standard shipping is 140.55 CAD, ouch. Double that in case of a SNAD and it almost equals the price paid. Item has already been picked up and is in route. This would be my second sub $300 SSD after this one a couple months ago. Ended up flipping the other 4 sets and getting the SSD down to below $200. Granted, the listing below was up for weeks from a 0 feedback seller. There is essentially no risk rolling the dice with eBay/Paypal protection... but always communicate with the seller first. So many new people on eBay just dumping stuff. These MILFFL type listings are the best though. Mom I'd Like to Fleece For LEGO. I'll provide an update, win or lose, when the item arrives. I just hope in the case of an issue that his dad doesn't work for the FBI like the other guy.

  9. Well, I'm satisfied with how GE handled the opened sets. Since they can't process reorders with WM, they're letting me keep them, refunding the cost, and issuing $60 in discount codes

  11. No. They haven't closed their shop, they've only pulled some things, like most LEGO. Maybe just for the duration of the coupon. You can still save $100 on an XBox One X.

  13. Zero feedback for sales, one image of a booklet, one image of bubble wrapped mystery, and two stock photos. If you are lucky it will be bogus bricks. I can’t imagine how much trouble this is going to be for you to repack and return to Canada once you file SNAD. Sent from my iPhone using Brickpicker Forum mobile app

  23. With all due respect, that is a bunch of baloney. When done right, new characters and new concepts can bring together old and new fans alike. Case in point: SW Rebels. It introduced 6 brand new characters (yup, Chopper the droid is a character) and tons of new concepts to enhance the SW universe. Instead of focusing on the Skywalker bloodline, it brought focus to a small rebel cell on in the outer rim. These new characters looked and sounded like a part of big SW universe. From time to time, it brought in characters from OT and PT (good guys and bad) without making them look bad compared to the new characters. Dare I say the appearance of the old characters enhanced viewers experience and appreciations of those characters. Watch season 2 finale and tell me that is not an awesome cameo. Dave Filoni and his team treated the characters (old and new) and the universe with a lot of r-e-s-p-e-c-t (as Aretha Franklin used to say ). There was a lack of respect in TLJ, and to a lesser degree TFA. Heck, TLJ could not even respect Poe and Finn who were literally just introduced to the audience 2 years prior. Both men were relegated to B side quests that ultimately did not matter to the main storyline How could the fans relate to and rally around those 2 men when they were treated like side characters in their own movies ?? Weren't Rey & these 2 supposed to carry the torch for the new fans? The fans who supposedly would consume oodles and ooldes of Di$$ney / SW merchandi$e for years to come.
