Hmm. Somebody has been watching too many youtube videos made by triggered white males.4 points

I like the boxes more than the contents. I foresee many of these available at the end of each day.2 points

Honestly, this is great news for the STAR WARS theme IMO. If these "relive ancient history" movies stop, maybe some of the older sets will stop being remade.2 points

That's not my picture, but I thought it was a sad one. I did take pictures of my kids in front of the store one last time. They are actually upset and don't fully understand why it has to close.2 points

Awesome. I ordered a couple extra and they already shipped. Also ordered some of the Mynock wings since they only appear in that color in 75192 . Gonna build a few extra since only coming with one was kind of lame.1 point

Was it clever to cast non Caucassian actors and made them like bumbling idiots throughout the movie ? Take Finn for example. He was a deserter in the beginnig of TFA who ended up risking his life to fight Kylo. What was he in TLJ? Comic relief with water spraying all over the floor? To be tasered by another crew? Dumbfoundly follow others on side quest that did not matter? Getting rammed by another when trying to heroicly sacrifce his life? The ONE time he used his brain to taunt and distract Phasma, RJ left the scene on the cutting floor.1 point

This is a perfect example of the MANY clever things Rian Johnson did with this movie that go completely unnoticed because people were so enraged by everything uncomfortable going on. The movie was not perfect, but it was daring, thoughtful, artistic as hell, and clever. People hated on JJ for being formulaic, and then they hated on Rian for burning it down and building it up again in a different way.1 point

I thought Revenge of the Sith was a lot better than the other two prequels. I'd put "Attack of the Clones" as the worst star wars movie, followed by "Last Jedi" and then "Phantom Menace."1 point

While I was utterly disappointed by TLJ, Yoda did not burn the texts. Yoda says to Luke "“Wisdom they held, but that library contained nothing that the girl Rey does not already possess.” At the end of the movie you see a drawer open full of the books, and reveals that Rey stole all the books and stashed them on the Falcon. So Yoda was being literal that Rey had what was in the library.1 point

I thought about taking my kids there one last time but now I don't want that moment to stick in their memories. That's depressing.1 point

As crappy as they were, I'm going to miss them. They were a big part of my childhood and my kids loved it when I took them there...even when I didn't buy them anything. haha1 point

I thought Snoke's Throne Room looked like a neat set. It's no Death Star Final Duel. I was thinking it should be no more than $40.1 point

The face now has detail to look like one from every angle. While unfortunately on the side of masculine at this scale such cannot be helped. Anyway for all we know Lady Liberty may have some distant relatives from Easter Island. I am inclined to agree. A sticker could function at least from a straight frontal view, however soon as you start turning the model the awkwardly flat face is there again.1 point

Found new Jurassic World sets were rolled back 18-20% at my local Walmart. Picked up Carnotaurus Gyrosphere Escape for $64.00 and Jurassic Park Raptor Chase set for $32.82. Not great for investing but enough for my personal collection. Just thought I'd share since this tends to be new MSRP. Not seeing the price on the Walmart website. The only one that didn't seemed to be lowered in price was the Indoraptor set. Shelf tag still showed regular price.1 point

I think the "train" is a bit of a missed opportunity, but I like the Hauler. Enough to buy it though? Probably not.1 point

To give credit where credit is due. At least these are new, original sets and not the usual remakes we have been getting recently. Having not seen the film yet, it’s worrying that the quality seems to be going downhill and contrary to the way that the prices are going. I have a really bad feeling about Cloud City. Looks like the B Team are working ok SW1 point

I don't see it happening. Disney is so corrupted that even if they fired Kennedy they would replace her with another, more extreme feminazi. If anything the failure of Solo most likely will push them to go more extreme with the SJW agenda in the next series. We'll have transgender, mutant purple haired chicks wielding light sabers and force chocking classic male hero archetypes into submission only to self-sacrifice themselves for the greater good of woman-kind. The self-destructive current that ran throughout The Last Jedi was disturbing.0 points
