  4. Today, I built two sets that I received this week: 75206 Jedi and Clone Troopers Battle Pack (minus Clone Trooper minifigs, want to sell these) and 75932 Jurassic Park Velociraptor Chase (minus Velociraptor, going to be sold). The battle pack I bought just for the Jedi knights. The Velociraptor chase is a decent built with a good number of parts useful to me and spectacular minifigs. In my opinion, it's the most interesting set from the theme next to 75930 (Indoraptor Rampage at Lockwood Estate) due to the selection of minifigures and the fact that it's not vehicle-based.

  5. I watched this over the weekend on Netflix. Four episodes so far. Star Wars, Barbie, He-Man, GI Joe. All were fascinating on how these things got made. I think quite a large percentage of users on this site would get something out of it. If anything a fond memory of being a kid. I recommend it.

  7. been this way for a couple of days but this is the all time low price from amazon.com according to camelcamelcamel (briefly hit this price first week of December 2017 for less than a day). limit 3 so you know they want to get rid of them. easy to knock this down under $40 with reward points. maybe it goes lower from here. i'd be more excited if they hadn't resurrected on shop at home. also seeing this price at walmart.com. up to you whether you think this is a good investment.

  9. Each to their own experience I guess, what you call foolish I call saving money. I haven't been burned yet, shipping or receiving. But yes, we're talking about small orders worth only a few dollars anyway. When the shipping cost is 3x the order cost, I'm looking for cheaper (but potentially riskier) options, and since I'm not a scumbag, I'm not going to force a paypal chargeback on my seller if my order gets lost in transit, that's the risk I accept with the shipping option. I appreciate those that provide them when and where possible is all I was saying. I know it doesn't follow status quo methods; it was just a passing comment.

  10. Normally I would say box condition matters very little, but in this case, the box and instruction manual/wheel display is pretty awesome and I think it matters.

  11. As far as I am concerned if your building it who cares on the cardboard box. Even still these are not collectors items due,to mass production. Comic books, no room for error. Lego boxes, meh.

  12. Picked up x3 (75932) JP Velociraptor Chase for $32 at Walmart but buy of the year hands down was a 100% used Black Pearl for $120

  13. Built this gem today. Picked it up on fb for $150 and had to (sarcasm) verify completeness. Sweet set

  16. Then I built the UCS Tie from my “build as soon as you come up with some more display space” pile. Saturn V, UCS Hoth, and a 6211 ISD, up next in the queue. Sent from my iPhone using Brickpicker Forum mobile app

  22. Got 5 of these last weekend for $70 CDN each at Indigo, down from $130 plus tax. Already sold 2 on Kijiji for $120 each. Love the minifigures on this set if I ever have to part out

  23. I really enjoyed all of the interviews with current and former Mattel, Hasbro, and Kenner employees which gave great insight into the design and manufacturing process for these toys. I had no idea Barbies that grew breasts was a toy feature before watching this:
