  2. Yep. A cart full - maybe 30 of them - of Clayface. I just laughed and said “good haul”

  3. Promobricks.de has their review online: https://www.promobricks.de/lego-40291-creative-storybook-hans-christian-andersen-im-review/61256 The booklet includes suggestions for additional fairy tales displays, though those pieces nor instructions are not included: I think this is a brilliant absolutely MUST HAVE promo and I am guessing it will 'sell out' very quickly!

  5. I think the love is there. Space and money is probably the limiting factor.

  6. Managed to land one in Aus yesterday for a flat 20% off through an online error at David Jones (A$1039). Pretty happy with that! Sent from my SM-G950F using Brickpicker Forum mobile app

  7. Hey Everyone, I've been a little busy and have not really been able to contribute, but thank you to all those who do! Anyway, I just received a couple of things today that may sweeten deals at Chapters/Indigo. So I received an email from my local Chapters with this Private After Hours shopping event where you get 30% off your purchase (Lego is not excluded). Then I received an email from RBC saying that you'll receive a 15% statement credit from Chapters until July 10 if you use an RBC credit card or debit card and most of you probably have discounted gift cards from Chapters that you've purchased throughout the year at 15-20% off at places like Superstore (Loblaws), so if you add all that up, It's quite a sizeable discount and some Chapters stores still have very good inventory so might be worth a look for some of you. Hope this helps! And thanks again to this community!

  9. Huh. I hope it does. There’s a couple of things I’d be willing to get at 40%. Plus I’ll laugh at the guy who loaded up on TLBM Clayface sets yesterday.

  10. Saw it over the weekend and my wife and kids, including myself really enjoyed it. Going in with low expectations probably helped.

  11. Disney will never do it but Boba Fett should be rated R. He is a bounty hunter, an assassin. Go the Terminator route. Deadpool has proven a blockbuster can be rated R.

  12. Maybe he has reflective film on the windows to filter the UV rays.

  13. I don't know, I have mixed feelings about this bonnet, but overall I think they did pretty decent job ok (I've changed my mind after close inspection) but Car looks masculine for sure. I don't know why they used liftarms instead of panels in bonnet section and overall gaps galore in front doesn't really work for me. Dark Blue Rims instead of black? They've just killed any usability of those Rims in Moc's

  16. My box of 60 minifigures arrived today - I was shocked at how small the box is! Was shipped in a brown outer box, but with the Lego logo plastered all over it (not like the usual plain brown boxes that come from Lego LEGO Shop at Home. Lowest price I'm seeing on Bricklink is $220 Can for a full box of 60... not bad vs $161 all in after taxes (and free delivery). EDIT: Currently showing back in stock on Costco.ca... 41 available at time of writing.

  17. They better include this or else I’ll be disappointed , can’t see how they can bypass it :

  18. Yep... i'm in agreement with you on that. The ST is terribly orchestrated, while the two offshoot films were fun thrill rides. I''ll take a Rogue One and Solo film anyday over whatever the Last Jedi tried to be. I don't even mind them recasting characters.. I look forward to the Obi-wan and Boba Fett films, but have no interest in the Rian Johnson trilogy or Episode 10. I almost feel like we are on a 3 year break until the Obi-wan movie comes out.

  20. I'm not sure how long this has been live, but I see a new item on the Costco.ca site: https://www.costco.ca/LEGO®-minifigures-Party%3a-Assorted-Minifigures-Series-18.product.100407781.html A full case of 60 minifigures for Series 18 @ $159.99 If you haven't used the Masterpass promo, you could get it down to $139.99 So either $2.67/ea or $2.33/ea

  21. I think the only bottom line here is folks want to build and play.

  22. I have not been in this thread for a while, but glad you were able to get a copy of the instructions. The building is not too bad to modify. We put a grocery/convenience store on the bottom and moved the comic shop upstairs in our building....

  23. This bit was extremely sad, & hit me like a slap to the face. There are boxes and boxes of Lego in my basement that I "haven't gotten around" to building. Instead of the constant obsession to find the next clearance price or sales opportunity, I'm building a set with my son tonight. Gather ye rosebricks, friends.
