  1. Is it just me or does anyone else think that Disney is killing the franchise by releasing so many movies in a short ammount of time? I kind of think it's going to take the wind out of everyone's sails and no one will care after a while.

  2. Promobricks.de has their review online: https://www.promobricks.de/lego-40291-creative-storybook-hans-christian-andersen-im-review/61256 The booklet includes suggestions for additional fairy tales displays, though those pieces nor instructions are not included: I think this is a brilliant absolutely MUST HAVE promo and I am guessing it will 'sell out' very quickly!

  7. This thread definitely turned for the better in the last few days. I'm sufficiently teased.

  8. My box of 60 minifigures arrived today - I was shocked at how small the box is! Was shipped in a brown outer box, but with the Lego logo plastered all over it (not like the usual plain brown boxes that come from Lego LEGO Shop at Home. Lowest price I'm seeing on Bricklink is $220 Can for a full box of 60... not bad vs $161 all in after taxes (and free delivery). EDIT: Currently showing back in stock on Costco.ca... 41 available at time of writing.

  9. I think the love is there. Space and money is probably the limiting factor.

  10. I just hope 75060 retires before the Fett movie comes out....might be cutting it close.

  11. I agree. It's already started. Han Solo opened to a huge amount of empty seats... Disney and Lucasfilm's "Solo: A Star Wars Story," a prequel film about the origins of Han Solo, made an estimated $101 million domestically for its four-day weekend opening which includes the Monday holiday, according to Disney. That makes "Solo" the smallest opening for a "Star Wars" film since 2002. While I thought it was a good film, it wasn't special by any means. More of the same to come with STAR WARS movies every year.

  15. I would have been fine with Disney recasting Luke, Leia, Han and the whole group if they would have just made the Timothy Zahn trilogy into episodes 7, 8, and 9.

  17. The actual car looks atrocious, so there was only so much Lego could do here. Looks spot on, to be honest.

  18. Folks, it’s a Technic set. Looks are secondary, it’s the mechanisms inside that make or break these sets, and we won’t know much about those from just a picture of (part of) the sets front box cover .....

  19. On eBay. Seller accepted the offer of $500 shipped. Seller didn't realize their incredibly vague title of "Multiple Lego Sets" was why the listing had zero interest. All instructions included. Boxes included outside of the SSD. I figure I can flip the other 4 sets and make this a very reasonably priced SSD.
