  1. Do you know what is actually odd, someone who constantly tries to push Duplo Ideas sets.

  2. On eBay. Seller accepted the offer of $500 shipped. Seller didn't realize their incredibly vague title of "Multiple Lego Sets" was why the listing had zero interest. All instructions included. Boxes included outside of the SSD. I figure I can flip the other 4 sets and make this a very reasonably priced SSD.

  4. This is what I keep moaning about with GC. Don’t buy them. If you get offered discounted GCs for other than Woolies or Coles use them immediately or pass on them. This includes DJ & Myer - AVOID

  8. Fairly serious Overwatch player myself (excited for the anniversary event tonight after work :3), but i feel like this theme would be better suited for Megabloks. Just because of the complex character designs, i feel like they would fit better on mega figures, but will be interesting to see what they can do with the Lego figure. I can see why they probably decided to go with Lego this time around though as i'm pretty sure the Warcraft line didn't do too well, not to mention the cancelled Starcraft line. I can see Overwatch Brickheadz doing well though.

  9. Exactly.. What I don't understand is why can't the stick to cars that will actually look good. It's not as if there are not loads of amazing MOC's they could copy...

  10. At the price they are charging, I feel that looks ARE important. After all, they are going the premium packaging route....

  11. Technically, eBay says a new item is unopened. If you put in the title that it was an open box or your pictures showed that it was open, you would have more of case. Buyers are notorious for not reading descriptions, so if it's important, put it in the title. You probably should accept the return. You could do the partial refund thing if you want, but some avoid that option as this guy might be trying to shake you down and if you refuse a partial refund, they may just accept the item.

  17. Its a free resource for you to gather loads of information to make money from selling toys. At the same time learning to buy smart for your own collection and being aware of the bigger world. Building your portfolio in a tool would for your own use of the data. If you don't find that data useful, then don't do it. Not sure what you were expecting, since the values are averages anyway. I just get 20% or more for sets over what the brickfolio says. Its a general gauge of trends. I have maainatained a six figure portfolio for many years and its been extremely useful.

  19. March 30, 2018. This is a date that will forever be remembered. I can get a little emotional at times. As an adult, there are a few instances when I've shed a tear. I cried when my son was born. I cried again a year later when my daughter was born. I cried tears of joy when my beloved Green Bay Packers won Super Bowl 31 after three decades of mediocrity, and again when they won Super Bowl 45. The last time I cried was two years ago this April when my Mom passed away. March 30, 2018. Today is another day that I've sobbed like a baby. Upon waking up for work, I checked my phone like I always do. Waiting for me was a PayPal notification. A large one. I checked my Bricklink account, and it appears that some blessed soul has decided that they needed some Steam Rollers in their life. Yes, some Steam Rollers. All of them. 27 to be exact. Gone. Purchased by an unknown person. A risk taker. A gambler. A guardian angel, perhaps? I began this saga with over 50 of those Steam Rollers. I'd sell one here, one there through multiple platforms, slowly chipping away at that number. I whittled it down to 27. Now I have 0. They are gone. The purchase price was just a shade over $1k. I'll make a few bucks on each one after the usual fees and shipping, but that's not the point in this circumstance. The nightmare is finally over. March 30, 2018 is my Independance Day.

  20. Sold my final Starlight Inn for $140 on fba, buy-in of $15, also sold another Skyra's Castle for $184, buy-in of $35. I have a few more of these but the boxes are not in the greatest shape so will hold for a little bit while I decide what to do with them.

  23. I work in the movie industry as a technical director and we use some of the software used by Animal Logic. Here's some information that would help you understand why it's long. I don't know exactly why it take 3 years, but personally I think it's because a lot of people are involved in this project, Lego need to approve probably everything and approbation take a lot of time and it can bottleneck a production really fast. I experienced that in the movie industry and in the video game industry. Another thing that take a lot of time is simulation, rendering and composition. Modeling take time too, but with the software Houdini you can create big scene with Lego easily, they don't place each lego piece in the scene.
