  1. I hope the guard asked "Would you just lettuce see inside your bag, Ma'am?".

  5. Last night at WM I had a clerk open the glass cases for me. I put $600 RRP of Lego in the cart. She asked me "You're not going to run out of here with the cart are you? I don't want to lose my job." We laughed, but in light of this story?... 15 minutes later I get through check out, and the security guy with the highlighter is checking someone's bag with a head of lettuce in it, while I walked out the door with an overflowing cart of Lego with no bags, no questions asked.

  7. Finally decided to stop waiting and pulled the trigger from LEGO Shop at Home with double VIP and BB8 poly. Don't think I'm patient enough or have time to check for AWD.

  8. Ordered the UCS Falcon today. Had been trying to catch one at AWD, but was always too slow (darn work). 2x VIP points and the free BB-8 were good enough incentive for me for something for a personal build. Plus, my husband is FINALLY graduating with his last degree (MD) tomorrow, so this is my gift to myself for surviving along with him. ?

  9. Well I couldn't help myself... Besides those posters are truly terrible indeed. I caught today my friend who is a supervisor in Leicester Sq and he told me that marketing team gave them a strict instruction to remove Vader Pods even knowing that they have plenty of stock available - he confirmed me that. They will most likely hit the shelves with price tag. They have already the Cloud City marketing promo materials on computer. Anyway. Finally I have A-Wing with one and only himself - Lando! I've never been a huge fan of the Brickheadz but I just couldn't help myself resisting those from the new run. They are fantastic!

  14. Definitely not the customer service I talked to. LEGO really needs to fix this.

  16. Yep, I chatted with cs yesterday before the sale started, but got a bad rep that insisted I wait & refused to give me a code even though I qualify. All for a piece of paper.

  17. This might be the best set i've ever seen. I just haven't been paying attention to the new stuff coming out of late, but THIS SET IS FREAKING INCREDIBLE! This is definitely a set that is going under the tree for me...err my son!

  18. I think I posted my May the 4th BB-8 too early. I put it on my Bricklink after I placed my LEGO Shop at Home order. It sold 58 minutes later. I just realized I'll be out of town for work when it arrives, so she'll be waiting a week before I can ship. But, I think one of my local buddies is going to ship his to her when it arrives and then I'll give him mine and reimburse the shipping.

  19. Don't agree with some aspects of your summary. Jang's opinion: 1. He likes the set 2. There seems to be a lot of repetition in the structure, but actually LEGO did a pretty good job in mixing it up. There's never more than 4-6 of the same pillar build, and you build max 2 the same at a time 3. Mechanism works really smoothly, including an "infinite loop" setup with optional motor or Boost pack 4. Good value for money, and simply HUGE compared to other sets. Negatives: 5. Track pieces are not sticking together very well - you need to occasionally check your tracks, especially when you move the set around, otherwise carts get stuck or slow down 6. Little possibility to "customize" the track - lots of complex and specific engineering and LEGO math went into this set. 7. Even though it all looks very engineered, the structure has quite a lot of "give" or "play" - not as sturdy as it looks. Overall a positive review.

  20. It's hard to say. We're all too lazy to look up your set numbers and potential discount.

  21. So I asked to see the poster at the LEGO store today and the "poster" is the size of a mousepad X_X. Real treat for black card VIP Lego!
