  1. I may be going out on a limb, but I would say the op is the ebay seller promoting their listing.

  2. Translate the comments from this article to English and THAT is my VIP bonus. Frankly, when you take the time to ask yourself 5 minutes and think about all this, I can not understand how human beings can become so judgmental about themselves by offering this type of compensation to their clients disbursing the tidy sum of 800 €. How can one have a self-esteem by trying miserably to pigeon his clients so much? I had a long time in the trade cycle and to make a quick comparison, it's like I offered a small patch to thank the guy who takes me a bike to 800 balls ...

  3. This promo ended yesterday (4/28) but seems to have reset for this week. Have at it! I also see a $10 on $100 and a $12 on $120 offer in my Offerbase, though only one of the two applied to my cart.

  7. Shipping cost is weird The "accidental" use of accented letters on trademarked names in the description is suspicious I'd definitely ask questions and lots of pictures to confirm authenticity

  8. So a UCS blueprint. Lol. Mmmaaaaybbbbeee if it's a actual set that is a blueprint I suppose that'd be cool. But, if I'm understanding correctly this isn't even Exclusive to set owners? I suppose the reality is that they wouldn't produce expensive items that practically negate the cost of your Falcon by which eventually they've made "nothing" as far as profit goes.

  9. I’ve anecdotally noticed one thing about the ubiquity of porch cameras. More angry posts on facebook from camera owners with a video with the caption “this low life stole my packages from my porch!”

  11. So... I cough up full price to buy the UCS Falcon (which, until now, has always been excluded from any double VIP points promotions) before the end of last year in order to benefit from "a full year of exclusive Black VIP Card Holder promotions", only to discover that had I postponed my purchase 'til now I wouldn't have missed out on any exclusive promotions at all and would have been able to get an extra £65-worth of points to boot. But wait, there is a rumour of an exclusive promotion. But then again it's only a "chance to win", not a definite "you will receive". Frankly, I think I would have rather had the extra £65-worth of points. Not that they would do me much good though - given that even the "Exclusives" are now almost all available periodically on discount at Smyths and the like, where's my incentive to buy anything direct from LEGO themselves? I have a post-graduate Diploma in Marketing and can't decide whether LEGO's marketing department are either the most inept bunch of incompetent morons this side of the Po Valley or the most talented and creative marketing professionals the world has ever seen. Feeling royally shafted right now. Maybe I should call their Human Resources department and see if they've any jobs going... Love to all, even LEGO.

  20. As someone pointed out elsewhere ... Saturn V has 1969 Lego parts and costs (in The Netherlands) €130 UCS Y-Wing 75181 has 1967 Lego parts and costs (in The Netherlands) €230. So that's basically €100 DISNEY TAX on the new Y-Wing set!
