  5. Admittedly Craigslist has a lower bar, but that reminds me of a post I responded to there. “LEGOS FOR SALE CHEAP ONE BIN $50” No pictures. I respond to the listing, asking for photos. Response: “Oh my GOD, they’re LEGOS. I need to get some DINNER. Bye”

  11. Apparently, going forward all sets must have boost integration, a helicopter and or roller coaster tracks.

  12. Yes, I am sure that on release day one we will get at least ten people complaining it´s a poor design and that their coasters don´t roll only to find they built it wrong.

  16. I think I'm more jealous of all the empty space in that room. If I tried to take a picture like that in my home, I'd have to continually yell at my kids to get all of their stuff for like an hour.

  20. 17101 - LEGO Boost for $75 on clearance at Walmart. Saw this morning’s press release for the Rollercoaster. It mentions some programmable functions and even custom sounds for the Rollercoaster if you hook up a Boost. Not going to pass on a Boost for greater than 50% off (I missed the $49 Boost couple weeks back).

  21. Never too soon if the price is good. 10261 now up on SAH. Lego taxed countries pay 350 euros - not too excessive.

  22. Awesome. Plain and simple. I love how it can basically break apart for easy movement, the switch-track is GREAT attention to detail and the tires used to help the train around the top hill is pretty neat. I can only imagine the MOCs people will make with this set alone...not to mention more than one. It wont be a day one purchase as I know I will have a lot of time to buy this, but this will definitely be in my list!

  26. This right here. I hate EBAY for this, the 10% and charging buyers RETAIL shipping pricing that is inflated so much it is ridiculous. I don't understand why they can't have a system in place where there are auto-refunds when you check out to give back any over-charging on shipping. Wouldn't this solve the issue and sellers can't charge a ton more and when i'm trying to sell to California they are not being charged $17 when it only costs me $10 when i check out.

  27. I've noticed eBay is the culprit when providing buyers with what I'd consider "too optimistic" delivery dates.

  28. Buyer pays for a minifigure on Saturday afternoon, I ship it Monday morning. Today I get a message from buyer that they are furious about the estimated delivery being changed from 4/27 to 4/28 They need the figure by 4/27 for a wedding cake and they demand that I refund them the shipping now. As far as I can tell, I mailed it at the earliest opportunity, meeting my requirements, I have no control over the post office, It's in their local distribution center, and their expected arrival date hasn't occurred yet. Am I the one who is crazy in thinking that there's no way I should have to refund them anything? I mean, what kind of crazy person demands a refund before they even expect to receive an item? Who knows why the USPS changes delivery dates, but in my experience they usually update it when it gets to the distribution center, but then deliver on the original estimated day.

  31. Essentially, the main structure in this line of Disney is on an 8x8 Plate. That Plate can be swapped with larger sets, (ie removing towers or sections of the castle), and then adding the one you want in its place. There are currently 5 sets out in this fashion; new Cinderella and Sleeping Beauty castles, Mulan and Frozen smaller sets and the Ariel boat (41151, 41152, 41153, 41154, 41155) Castles are set up so the towers are on the 8x8 architecture and can easily be swapped out, much like the newish Modular homes in the Creator line. Even within each set, you have a B&S function. See the 2 plates under the bookcase on the front? The idea is that you can swap out either of the two 2x4 Plates that are meant to look like an Easel and the other, a stand for the Frog. and make the set more playable.

  32. and with all those multiples, you can finally get around to the helicopter tour company MOC you've been waiting to cross off your build bucket list. i think the people pack with people rafting, racing bikes, climibing, cooking over propane tank and taking selfies while mountain climibing this is clearly meant to be paired with the hospital as the Future Patient People Pack. that red tent is awesome .

  34. Little rant. Seller has a couple of minifigs for sale and one picture of the back of the figures is really blurry. I can't make out the condition of the figures and I just want the torsos to replace some figures with cracked arms. Sent a message asking if they had any better pictures. Get a reply back "Just what is there, selling cheap". I am sorry, if you can't take an extra picture for an interested party or even take a good picture to begin with, perhaps you shouldn't sell on ebay.

  35. Its probably is like how many ppl you ask that many answers you get. I find it extremely legit. They aim from the start to get a standard, official banking license, now they have just some "lower" operating status as an institution that can make e-payments. But you can ask TabbyBoy.. he knows more from behind the scenes how likely is BABB going to achieve their goal in obtaining a solid banking license. and you might also want to check their twitter - twitter.com\getbabb

  42. They are at max capacity and it is only April. They are trimming 3P sellers left, right and center. They want sellers who stock in demand products at fair prices with very high turnover. The days of being the market for everything are long gone (that is what ebay is for). 3P on Amazon is not forever. More and more manufacturers are selling direct. Best Buy will be closing all of their stores at the end of the year and will be selling exclusively on Amazon. Wholesale and distributors, and retail stores, will become dinosaurs.
