Found one today but this Walmart didn't put the whole box out. The lady opened the box, grabbed a handful (from the back left corner) and put them in a wire rack they are using for small packages now. Fortunately saw where she grabbed them from out of the box and found the police man.2 points

resistance x-wing is already up to $120 fba. both this set and resistance x-wing will make it to $150 by the end of the year. resistance x-wing microfighter is one of my top performing investments of 2017. $5 buyin, lowest FBA: $27.95. its nothing short of a miracle that the seller count on both x-wings is well under 100. barring any EXACT remakes, i don't see how these won't do well.1 point

Agree. The upcoming (generic) OT X-Wing will cannibalize into the sales of the (generic) Resistance X-Wing (grey with blue accents) while this uniquely coloured black with orange accents Poe's X-Wing will keep a special place for collector's.1 point

Officially diverged from just SW collecting (the turd to gem rate has shifted a bit much in the last 18 months) into Exclusives. Went into store and told them I already own every SW set I want and asked if they'd throw in a Vader pod if I spent the threshold. Didn't take much schmoozing. they were at LL in Sept, I got them on 9/23/17 the first time, were limited compared to normal ones and stayed pretty rare Walmart, sku is 396761494 UPC 673419286459 , haven't seen any in a few states that I've checked1 point

My local WH Smith’s has a fresh box behind the till and I didn’t want to ask if I could smoosh bags [emoji58] so I asked if I could have have the one third from the back on the left and when I opened it after I left the store lo and behold it was a police man! Stopped by a local Wal- Mart to see if they had any clearance, which they did not. However the Lego Rep was there and was putting up one of the large hanging Series 18 displays. I was able to get 2 police officers from it in the same spots, so they load them the same and not randomly.1 point

IMHO, There is hardly any polybag worth buying at RRP (typically $3.99) for investment. Some exceptions exist (Darth Regan, Silver Centurion, Green Arrow) but those have been out of circulation for at least a year. Only price worthwhile is when they get discounted, ideally in the $1-$2 range.1 point

Fees, what fees. We’ve seen a £1 FVF on ebay every month this year. And don’t forget cashback and vendor loyalty points. Return from these can be higher than the profit on sales on flipping. But anyways, Lego RA is a low margin volume game. If there is an in production set you can flip and flip again with 5% return. Just move the plastic.1 point
