It’s time for all of us to begin complaining on Twitter !3 points

While I fully expected the benefits to be bad, I didn't expect them to be nonexistent. I'm not sure why I still expect anything from TLG at this point. I'm tired of companies making claims like this that aren't carried out or about exclusivity of items that aren't true.3 points

I would like to complain that the site owner doesn't even have a Black VIP card. How is this possible? not a good sign that the person that has every set known to man and has never sold a single one of them does not even want one. I tried to change my name on my account before they printed it so it would say QF LL for first and last name, must of just missed the cutoff2 points

Well, I guess this is sort of like burning it down. http://www.nme.com/news/music/police-raid-rave-at-toys-r-us-store-22883782 points

Haha, yep. Every story you've heard about from other stores about not letting you use a coupon, or not matching a price, or withholding product, they are all true at this store. They would rather not sell something than help you out. I rarely go there unless it's for something exclusive like a polybag I can't get elsewhere. I won't miss it.2 points

Yeah, looks like a Ponzi scheme where even the first investors don´t get anything!2 points

I'll look for your tweet, retweet, and complain myself. I won't reference BrickPicker.1 point

You´ll get one cheaper in the not too distant future - consider it a as a plus.1 point

Seems the only winners so far are TLG and the resellers who sold the early release versions before the VIP card benefits - or lack of emerged.1 point

For those who might not know what the differences are (see below) - Note that the eyebrows/beard hair is also black on the rare one.1 point

The Ghost set was released July 2014. Here is how to read the seal codes: https://bricks.stackexchange.com/questions/7014/what-does-the-4-digit-number-embossed-on-my-lego-set-represent. Kudos to Phil B for answering this question on the included web site link! If your set has a seal code close to July 2014 you very likely have the rare minifigure.1 point

I still have over 50 of those, but I haven't tried to sell any yet. I'm waiting for it to completely disappear from retail. I haven't even really been looking to see how it's doing yet. I have faith in Rey. She won't let me down, and at a $10 buy in my concern isn't at Steam Roller level...yet.1 point

March 30, 2018. This is a date that will forever be remembered. I can get a little emotional at times. As an adult, there are a few instances when I've shed a tear. I cried when my son was born. I cried again a year later when my daughter was born. I cried tears of joy when my beloved Green Bay Packers won Super Bowl 31 after three decades of mediocrity, and again when they won Super Bowl 45. The last time I cried was two years ago this April when my Mom passed away. March 30, 2018. Today is another day that I've sobbed like a baby. Upon waking up for work, I checked my phone like I always do. Waiting for me was a PayPal notification. A large one. I checked my Bricklink account, and it appears that some blessed soul has decided that they needed some Steam Rollers in their life. Yes, some Steam Rollers. All of them. 27 to be exact. Gone. Purchased by an unknown person. A risk taker. A gambler. A guardian angel, perhaps? I began this saga with over 50 of those Steam Rollers. I'd sell one here, one there through multiple platforms, slowly chipping away at that number. I whittled it down to 27. Now I have 0. They are gone. The purchase price was just a shade over $1k. I'll make a few bucks on each one after the usual fees and shipping, but that's not the point in this circumstance. The nightmare is finally over. March 30, 2018 is my Independance Day.1 point

What is astounding is that so many of the working population (Amazon and Walmart, etc employees) earn hardly subsistence wages such that they require negative taxes just to exist. The percentages quoted above are nothing more than the result of astounding income inequality.1 point

You might not think it's a day 1 purchase yet, but TLG knows how to hook you now: LIMITED EDITION, COLLECTIBLE LEGO TECHNIC DRIVER LICENSE VIP CARD Get your new LEGO Technic Bugatti Chiron on 1 August, 2018 and receive a collectible driver license VIP card with your name on it! With the card, you'll enjoy a full year* of Technic-themed offers throughout 2019! *Offers may not actually occur "throughout" the year. Probably more like once or twice. And don't ask what these things might be, just trust us, they'll be awesome**. And even if there ends up being nothing extra offered, you've got the special VIP card and the great set, so do you really need anything else? **Items may not be that awesome.1 point

Turns out I was 16 out of 17 for smooshing last week. Accidentally got two Cat Girls instead of Dragon Boy. Picked up Dragon Boy today, no problem. But....people suck. About half the bags at this Walmart (the same one I was at last week), had been cut open. The minifigs were still inside. But obviously someone didn’t want to bother smooshing or just grabbing.0 points
