Yes, it's sad...I am very disappointed with the whole situation. It was depressing walking around my TRU the other day. Yet till the very end, TRU still gouged people with silly prices on various items. Over the years, they made poor choices, especially online. While Amazon would give generous commissions to affiliates, TRU gave NOTHING. Adios TRU...2 points

This right here. The longer you are on the board, the better you get to know some of the regulars. Those that contribute, show honesty, and are, in generally, just all around good dudes, will certainly find willing helpers when the time comes. That's also because they're willing to step up and help out when the time comes, too.2 points

Picked up the 75919 Indominus rex Breakout and 70413 The Brick Bounty sets today I bought off of CL for $155. The Indominus rex Breakout set is complete with the box and instructions while The Brick Bounty is 99% complete with the box and instructions. The shark is substituted with an alligator and I can get the shark on BrickLink. Both sets are bagged according to the instructions. I am selling the Jurassic World set and that will help to pay for most, if not all, of The Brick Bounty which is for me. It will go well with my other pirate and castle sets! Thanks to the Brick Picker community I know a good deal when I see one.1 point

So far the online price of clearance items (that are basically universally unavailable for shipping/pickup) has tracked with prices in my local stores, so because they have held at the 50% off prices, I'd say still 50% off.1 point

The Winter Station was on sale for $64. I don't recall the Holiday Train being on sale, but maybe I missed it? The Holiday Train at $64 would definitely be a set to go deep on. At RRP is a different story.1 point

I’ve had several people contact me on BrickLink asking if it is alright if I dropship for them. I assume they recognize my name from here, as I’m typically not the cheapest (though I’m fairly cheap). I appreciate it when someone asks first. I’ve had several requests, but not repeat requests. So, definitely no partnership. And that’s something hard to organize anyways. Are you going to tell someone not to buy a set, because you’re going heavy in it and you want to be the partner that sells it? But it’s nice when the opportunity presents its self (or when an error is made) that you can find someone who can “do you a solid.”1 point

10230 Mini Modulars $40 CL It’s kinda a white whale for me. I’ve wanted this set for awhile. I stupidly missed out when it was doing the retirement dance. I BL’d, but never was happy with that. Couldn’t pass up a good deal on it.1 point

Stopped by our “vintage” TRU. Most people I’ve ever seen. Discounts nearly non-existent. 5%off LEGO is a joke. But it was still sad as it will probably be our kid’s last time to browse a mega toy store.1 point

Sold my final Starlight Inn for $140 on fba, buy-in of $15, also sold another Skyra's Castle for $184, buy-in of $35. I have a few more of these but the boxes are not in the greatest shape so will hold for a little bit while I decide what to do with them.1 point

My son does that sometimes too. I've sold stuff still on his shelf and he didn't even notice.1 point

I don't know if I'm a "trusted seller" or not, but if an established member like DadsAFOL needed something in a pinch and I had the inventory, I'd be more than happy to help out.1 point

Limited fine print with no Lego mention- I assume that this would fall under Target's stacking policy for me: It all depends on who's working the service desk that shift. The usual result is that I can get the deal but limit to 2 products.1 point

Sold a "60 year of the brick bundle" for $220 + shipping - buy in $95 after tax. Consisting of 10715 limited edition, 4000028/4000029/4000030, plus the 60year promo set, plus the 60 year booklet. Fees should be capped at $10 thanks to EBay promo, so $125 in profit.1 point

I think it depends on the Disney Company. If they insist on this set being continued to be produced so it can be sold in Disney Theme parks, then why would LEGO stop producing it? Who says no to a steady flow of income?1 point

There was not a BoxGate but #Instructiongate if we are thinking about the same "Shift Sequence" mistake straight from instruction. They are still making those. They didn't fix anything. it was OOS for 2 months because they wrongly estimated the potential demand. the supply for new MF will be extremely limited at the beginning (in store) can't say much about the Warehouse supply at the start. but can't expect anything more than Saturn V and Porsche scenario from this set. It's gonna be a matter of minutes? hours?1 point

They are going Apple way, you will receive extra gold sticker with UCS logo so you can put it on your 2003 Civic sedan.1 point

No I saw only the Vector image of the ship itself that's gonna be advertised along with the announcement. Nothing else so Box itself is a still mystery to me.1 point

Just to let you know that's not Lego Store employee responsible for building those sets for LEGO. They have their own Master Builders in different countries which are responsible for preparing the complete set for transporting and displaying it in proper angle in the store. Just to clarify some things here. besides of that, Lego Leicester Sq employees are keeping their mouth shut and no one is willing to hint a single detail about pricing, because the final model I already saw 2 weeks ago in digital.1 point

Well comparing to Apple and the way they are trying to keep things concealed as much as possible I have to admit. Lego did pretty great in keeping this set so secret for so long without any leaks knowing that 95% of the projects are ready about a year before it's release to market.1 point

Can we just put to the rest debate whether it's legit or not. Lego already gave us an answer.1 point

I'm going to "Lester" Sq right now. I'll drop you the report about the current situation over there. @LaH001 I like Westfield LS more than any other store in London, I know most of the staff and they are very much aware what's going on.1 point

I'd like to give away this exclusive allowance to purchase this set to someone who will be there or planning to be there this Sunday to pickup this limited set for 40$. I'm not QFLL'ing this on ebay whatsoever because I just wanted to give this special opportunity to some BP fellow (active member preferably) who will most likely attend to the Orlando SW Celebration Day. 16 of April, Sunday 10AM Open Window. or maybe @Jeff Mack will be interested in redeeming this one for next year charity raffle cause. Please No Swindling. PM me if interested. You will be able to purchase this little set potentially worth some significant amount on second market. "Dear Shewie Congratulations!
