I don't know if I'm a "trusted seller" or not, but if an established member like DadsAFOL needed something in a pinch and I had the inventory, I'd be more than happy to help out.7 points

Update... All packages have shipped. I really hope everyone enjoys their prizes and bonus sets. I look forward to seeing pictures of the sets built. Once again, I would like to thank everyone who contributed. It is always fun and "stressful" watching the donations come in. I look forward to next year...I still have a ton more sets to raffle off!5 points

Tron is one of my favorite all time movies being a computer nerd and all ... For $24.99 CAD this set rocks (even if the original was better, this has two light cycles), for $29.99 CAD it's OK. At $44.99 CAD, LEGO can kiss my ass.3 points

Nope, this is to the new/sealed stuff that's unopened. Sometimes it just disappears. You can blame them later for misplacing it, if asked.3 points

My son does that sometimes too. I've sold stuff still on his shelf and he didn't even notice.3 points

This right here. The longer you are on the board, the better you get to know some of the regulars. Those that contribute, show honesty, and are, in generally, just all around good dudes, will certainly find willing helpers when the time comes. That's also because they're willing to step up and help out when the time comes, too.3 points

That Chewbacca OMG that is so bad. It is hilarious, like some deformed puppy. And what are those tentacles below his mouth. And that foresk.. I mean forehead. What was LEGO thinking? WHY?3 points

Knowing TRU, those "discounts" will make the sets their normal retail value. ?2 points

Used Big Ben Creator 10253 with Instructions, no box (probably will disassemble, inventory and clean pieces, and build to keep) Used UCS R2-D2 10225 with Instructions, no box (will disassemble, inventory and clean pieces, and try to resell) Combine from same seller $150 from Facebook Market. Both appear to be complete sets. About a quarter inch of dust included too.?2 points

Mine didn't go so smoothly. Spent 20 minutes in my car fiddling with the app to try and get the in-store pickup option to work. Would just go back to the home screen whenever I pressed it. Had to call Sears customer service who after 20 minutes also couldn't help me. Spoke with the pickup lady in the store and she also didn't know what I was talking about. In the end she put a note in for the store manager to just manually credit me the $10 and I just did a normal pickup. Went back today 24 hours later because I still had not seen those points come through. The guy at the pickup desk went back to the store manager and came back and told me that the store manager had credited me not $10 but $20 as compensation for the inconvenience. No complaints....1 point

no one puts on the first place the fact that TLG is jacking prices up year after year but on a contrary we can see some rather irrelevant arguments. "NASA PAID FOR APOLLO Project to LEGO. " I can't believe what did I just read. Apollo production costs and marketing was significantly smaller than other sets, word of mouth did the job. Open the Apollo box look at the instruction last page and count how many of the same type bricks you have in there. Do the math. In Trone for example they had to create now prints on medium sized transclear round dish pieces (can't recon if they;ve used them ever before in such colours) + new moulds for hair and helmet and print. That could generate up to 10% more cost of production for this set...contradictory to that calulation we are getting >30% price increase out of the blue for no particular reason. TLG is in financially difficult situation and they will jack up the prices on every new set coming this year we have to accept this fact. TRON as a licence is DEAD. there are no toys or anything that is HOT right now. Everyone is loosing their minds on Avengers currently. I will never agree to argument that DISNEY jacked up the licensing costs especially for TRON based toy.1 point

I laughed. -------------------------------- sidenote. this should be priced exactly the same as Women's of Nasa which has same price count, more figures, less price. And we all know the most expensive part of each set are minifigures.1 point

This was a specific Sears deal available to everyone that was going on last week, at first 20 cashback on 20, 50 on 100, 100 on 500. My problem was that it didn't work because the order status didn't update to trigger the points, thus I'm still talking about an old offer. The FREECASH name is confusing, that's just the old "Surprise Points". Your Order e-mail will tell you if you spent FREECASH in points or earned CASHBACK points on the order, and still uses the old "Surpise points" in the breakdown of points spent. Not sure at all if that helps.1 point

Thanks guys! My son has just started getting into the app as well, and I've been trying to figure out how to deal with the scanning of shields issue.1 point
