Star Wars Resistance Bomber 75188 dropped to $79 at a handful of Walmart stores today. Not a huge break, but a decent discount if you've been wanting one. SKU: 946006306 UPC: 6734192676183 points

Been today in 2 Toys R Us shops one in Croydon the other one in Merton. Both shops with mostly cleaned shelves, pathetic discount on lego 15% (MUST GO CLEARANCE OMG!) rest of toys 20% and plush toys 30% wanted to buy some funko pop but nothing left ;( Creator Expert are gone in both shops, hoards of Batman and Star Wars small and medium sized boxes. Rest RPP with tag -15% at the till. which is pathetic because in Sainsbury's on the other side of the street all City Sets and Batman Sets were discounted 20%. not planning to go to TRUagain. sail away T R U.3 points

I have had same issue, but to even more advantage. After I picked up the item (a patio furniture set), they never changed it to "picked up". A month later, I get an email apologizing that they lost my item, and were refunding my money.2 points

Snagged a Kylo Ren Shuttle 75104 for 28.50 shipped with the 15% ebay discount (was 33.5 before discount). Used, but with all pices, instructions, and box according to the listing. Good deal assuming it does come with everything, box looks mint too.1 point

Yes 100 per cent accurate , was at my local two days ago with the store very crowded but no one buying Lego. They had closing down sale signs everywhere which got customers in to the store, but by the time they are giving a decent discount there will be even fewer worthwhile sets available dont waste your time.1 point

Went to my closing TRU, now in the 5th or so week of the liquidation process. Last time I went was a week ago, when the LEGO section was still it's normal size, all marked with yellow dots indicating a 10% discount. Only the clearance LEGO sets were 25% off of the clearance price. This time around, the store had transformed to a post-apocalyptic nightmare. LEGO section was just one wall, almost all still 10% off. Looked like TLG came to collect most of it - I cannot believe it all sold in a week at 10% off (then again, the full liquidation news might have inspired folks). Clearance LEGO was now at 40% off (i.e. SHG High School for $29.99). Only thing clearance left was SHG stuff, and the High Schools had gone down from 20+ copies to 4. I'm not going back.1 point

I have to admit, when I read the whole story about the buy out and what they did with the debt, it reminded me of the robber barrons of the late 1800s. They would buy up railroads, gut the railroad they bought, sell off all the pieces and make huge profits while bankrupting the railroads they had just bought. The only ones who profit are the owners. The shareholders and employees get left holding the bag.1 point

Here's a tip: Make sure you open all KMart emails, because they track this and activate offers based on your email reading behavior. Case in point: Today you should have received a Sweeps Weekly email. Opening it activates a $10 on $50 FC offer (as it does every week). And like @MinifigW said, I've also had a streak of $15 on $65 offers come in recently, which is a great offer (almost 25% off).1 point
