  1. Sorry for the double post but I had to skim those pictures down a little :-) So this is only some part of my collection (maybe obviously) but a part worth to be displayed and shared. First up we got the Christmas decoration. It's still out and I got to change that soon but it's sooo cold outside that it's still somewhat fitting. Secondly my first modular street. It counts 4 modulars now so it can be called a street :-) There's also a lot going on inside of the buildings and behind the buildings but sadly I'm not able to display all of it. Hope you enjoy it.

  2. Is there anyone looking to get these things in bulk that doesn't have a store near them? Maybe we could work out a deal. I cannot guarantee set availability, but I could probably get 40-50 at a time of whatever assortment is currently in the store. It would have to be a take what I can find type of thing. I'm not going to scour the city for only specific characters to make $1 profit a set. But I will try to help out people feeling a bit left out. By my math, if I charge $3.25 a set, after taxes and fees, I would take almost $1 per set. I'm not going to sell 1 or even 10 sets like this, since the time isn't worth the gain. Sorry if this sounds a little mercenary, but this is a site about making money from LEGO.

  3. I would never "skip" may 4th. I call in sick to work, sit around in my bath robe all day eating ice cream and watching star wars dvds. quite unforgettable https://www.bing.com/images/search?view=detailV2&ccid=HQOx%2fqc%2f&id=8B268CF80A7882BEE20031FE5D2AE716C2CDE6E8&thid=OIP.HQOx_qc_Jpntw_3RBWVuIwHaEb&mediaurl=http%3a%2f%2fwww.evilwillalwaystriumph.com%2fspaceballs%2fdarkhelmet-dolls.gif&exph=299&expw=500&q=spaceballs+dolls+gif&simid=608038015447597372&selectedIndex=3&ajaxhist=0

  7. @Shewie That P51 is AWESOME! I didn't build "today", but it's been my current project that I just finished within the past couple days and since I just found the love here, I figured I'd share the love! If Ya'll are not aware of this set, it's part of the Lego Certified Professional Brand Limited to 100pcs Exclusively at the "The Renault Workshop" in Paris. There were 2 other sets released that day, a Speed Champions series RS17 (1000pcs) and a Concept RS27 Expert Creator (40pcs) set. The set pictured below is the Creator Expert RS17 model. I sourced the instructions and built the set from scratch while also creating the stickers from scratch (happy to help others just send me a PM). My build progress was detailed on a thread here in these forums. I welcome others to join the adventure for this awesome set. It's stunning on display.

  10. Yes, Huw and the Brickset staff have always been great at promoting the raffle. Jeff and I appreciate it very much. The LEGO community has far surpassed my expectations over the past three years. This year's prizes are the best we ever had IMO and as always, I will try to get the winners the sets they desire. 11. Some people will be complaining that Lego didn´t give them time to resell 6357 before the remake.

  13. So Hubby told me "not to spend my money" "he's got this" he'll buy the raffle tickets - hmmmmmm, I'm thinking he's planning a takeover of "our" raffle choices - I may have to buy my own after all . . .

  14. Time to resurrect this topic. Prices and values are over three months old in the Price Guide, and a lot has changed since the Holidays.

  18. All new 2018 sets are 20% off at KMart.com right now. All marked "Hot Buy" (as far as I checked) so coupons won't work, but if you have points to burn, this might be a good opportunity. EDIT: 21143 Nether Portal is not Hot Buy, but slightly less than 20% off due to KMart's inflated RRP of $42.99 on that set.

  19. Are B&W prints sold out? The other three prints added to my cart, but not that one. Never mind. Once I clicked checkout it popped up.

  22. Same scenario as Exciter. My TRU is slammed. Lots of people shopping there for one reason. Checking off their lists. ToysRUs is still THE place to go to for most towns in terms of a great place to shop for toys of all types. This time of year people care more about getting everything on their list than snagging a sale.

  24. Walmart doesn't do % off sales on themes though, just clearance. I don't think they can dictate what Walmart puts on clearance.
