Nope, still not biting. Thanks for sharing, though. I'd probably buy at $125.5 points

Kmart cancelled one of my store pick up Death Troopers yesterday. Had to call SYW to get all my points back. Was sure that the store had these on the shelf so went to check today. Sweet revenge. 20×75120 K-2SO $4 each before the below shenanigans 16×75121 Death Trooper $4 each Used: $37 in points $15 on $65 FC $10 on $50 FC $2 on $20 FC Across several transactions. Paid $79.58 OoP after tax, which makes these $2.08 each before tax. Received 2× $6 FC coupons and $7 back in points. Plus a generous helping of $5 off $35 coupons, as well as a coupon for a free Hot Wheels car w purchase. Obligatory haul pic:3 points

I sold 12 sets of the Powerpuff girl minifigures for $9.99 each set. Now I just need to punt all the parts and discs that came with those sets.2 points

My local Debs has had TLBM sets at 50% off for over a week now. People aren't buying them. That's not a good sign.1 point

Los Angeles area. Local stores around me still have Hermione, PPG Team, Green PPG, Knight Rider, and Chase. Ended up finding 20 more Beetlejuice on an endcap.1 point

the 189.99 may be warehouse deals jacking up the price, they generally get priority for "3rd party" sellers. as for the rrp stock, I believe amazon buys out excess inventory from suppliers and other retailers. basically having an internal team that operates a overstock.com like business on amazon. as well as redirecting from other regions, both within NA and likely other parts of the world. so things like LEGO that sell big in the US will have stock rerouted and bought out from other sources.1 point

Jedi Night was an excellent episode. The storyline successfully depicted the Highs and Lows of war. I also enjoyed the in-depth chemistry between Kanan and Hera. Dume was “so so” but did a good of highlighting the emotions of the Ghost Crew. Now if only Lego would give us a UCS Ghost with Phantom set. That initial attempt really needs a refresh with a larger model1 point

I've lost several pricy packages shipping to China, south/central America, Philippines and a few places in Europe. The buyer got their money back because once it disappeared into their country's postal system I was SOL. It probably arrived eventually. Also, it's a giant hassle trying to explain to people that I have no way to pay for customs and that the shipping fee that they paid is only for shipping. I do not know anything about their local customs and while it does suck that their $50 item has $40 in customs fees I can't do anything about that.1 point

My favorite part of the store closings is that they won't sell stuff like the big Funko Freddy or the LEGO set displays because they belong to the vendors. You guys have about $32 million dollars that belongs to TLG and you're worried about returning the displays?1 point

10259 Winter Village Station x24. 20% off / $64 each Walmart.com deal from the other day. Train stations and the Winter Village theme have always done well for me. Combine the two and this set is a safe bet to do well once retired. 20% isn't a great discount, but the winter sets rarely get discounted unless you have a Lego store nearby and they are trying to move them after the season is over. Even then it's usually only 30%. I just tried to place another order of 12 but it looks like they finally sold out after a few days. Bummer.1 point

First (and most likely last) delivery of my orders from LEGO Shop at Home sale last Thursday: (8) 42043 Mercedes-Benz Arocs - € 99.99 (6) 75105 Millennium Falcon - € 74.99 (5) 21121 The Desert Outpost - € 34.99 (2) 76057 Spider-Man Bridge Battle - € 49.99 (2) 70596 Samurai X Cave Chaos - € 59.99 (8) 21027 Architecture Berlin - € 14.99 (8) 41125 Horse Vet Trailer - € 19.99 Arocs, Minecraft and Friends arrived minty fresh in factory cartons. 1 of the Berlin sets, 2 Falcons and both Ninjago sets had some creases. Rest were mint and certainly didn't look like returns. Mostly end of 2017 seals.1 point

Everything on Amazon is run on metrics. Absolutely everything (including hundreds we never see or hear about). 5 star them and write glowing comments everytime. The next agents will bend over backwards to speedily help you out. Just like us they want to keep their metrics high to keep their jobs or advance. I'm guessing 99% of sellers act all pissy and upset with them. Guess which 1% gets the real help and to stick around?1 point

If she really values someone with complete understanding of SW mythology, she should have asked Dave Filoni (co-creator of CW & Rebels) instead I can't agree with this more. D&D are good at extracting major components of EXISTING story, reorganizing and translating them to a different medium (TV). Once the source materials are depleted (in terms of quantity and quality, sorry GRRM), (huge) gaps appear in their final product (GoT). Whereas someone like Filoni took elements of the original mythology (SW) and weaved those into his original ideas (Rebels). This made the series feel and look like part of this grand universe while presenting his own fresh ideas and storylines.1 point

The buyer could claim identity theft to Paypal and get reimbursed and you would have not protection against the chargeback. A risk probably worth taking if it means selling the steamrollers, though.1 point

Sounds like he is trying to find some suppliers who will deal off of eBay. That way he can get a better price and the seller won't have to pay selling fees. Both parties benefit. It wouldn't hurt to reply and ask a few questions. I've had a few bulk sales of this nature (unfortunately, not for my Steam Rollers...yet). If you pursue just make sure they pay with a PayPal Friends & Family payment. This way you are protected against them filing a bogus claim after they receive the product. They have no protection as a buyer with that type of payment, but the buyers I've dealt with understood that going in and were ok with it because they were getting a decent price.1 point
