There is a $5 FREECASH Spin out there on XTRA right now. The $5 I received doesn't appear to have any minimum requirement. Expires 2/203 points

I don't think Red 5 is a turd. It won't be remade for the next several years, and the value of a MISB/NISB will steadily increase. Maybe not as fast as speculators had hoped for, but people looking for spectacular increases should move over to cryptocurrencies. I expect the same from 75095. Not a QF set for sure, but give it five years and it will see a healthy value increase.2 points

Different target markets. UCS collectors and AFOLS will want the bigger ones and kids will get the small ones. TIE retiring allowed me to sell my last Red 5 as people want both in a bundle.1 point

This one's from HDUK, I'm all spent this month but the offer looks great. https://www.johnlewis.com/lego-city-66493-remote-control-cargo-train-station-tracks-and-power-functions-4-in-1-super-pack/p3302484?s_afcid=af_47868&tmad=c&awc=1203_1518617236_23b8069fecbaa00071416d6019e34a8d&tmcampid=481 point

new x wing is expected later this year. The Red Five isn't a turd but smaller iterations doen't make this set appealing in potential customer's eyes. This set will never success imo the way other sets SW performed over time post eol for that reason alone plus new "classic" X-Wing expected to be released later this year so it won't make it any better for this set performance wise.1 point

Watch out for teeth marks. Quickest way to be sure that those white pieces aren't moulded bricks of cocaine...1 point

Just picked two up for like $140 per. Boxes may be slightly damaged, we’ll see. Will I ever make my money back? These are long holds for me.1 point

I'm 97.5% sure these are from WB. They are definitely coming from the LA area. I'm sure part of the licensing agreement for Dimensions was that WB would get a bunch of the sets. One day someone was standing in the warehouse and wondered wtf are we going to do with all these?1 point

Finally sold my last Galaxy Squad set. Feels so good to finally divorce myself from that line. I almost feel like a new man. Adios Crater Creeper, I'm off to greener pastures.1 point

Finally got round to buying the snowspeeder. Although a more accurate and detailed build with nice touches still prefer the original since I fell it’s more imposing since a bit blockier.1 point

Well this comparison showcases the completely opposite viewpoint from the one you are trying to make. And is, incidentally, totally to the point [emoji4]1 point

Pretty sure the over-saturation is already there. They are using the Marvel formula which seems to work well for them.1 point

At this point, I think they need to go back to cutting back on what they release. There are too many sets. Remember when it was just two good waves per year? They need to go back to that. Just looking at the force friday 2 and winter wave for this year, they could have completely cut out the Transport Pod, the Assault Walker, the Bomber, the half built AT-ST, the Cantina, and the two combined microfighter packs. While some of the minifigures in those sets are nice, they could have beefed those into other sets, or did a little stronger on the battle packs. Right now, they need to have a less is more approach to this theme. So many of the sets I listed above are just not that interesting and i'm not going to spend 50.00 on a set just because of 2 minifigures.1 point
