If any Brickpicker is interested in these discounted Dimension sets, I’ll send them to you at $0 profit.($1.99+tax+shipping+$1). I will donate the extra $1 per set to the St. Paul raffle in your name. If you prefer to remain anonymous, pm me. I’m going to visit a couple of stores today, so let me know how many you want and which ones. Caveat: I visited a 99c store yesterday and only found 1x Doc and 2x Chase. Store clerk did say that more may come in on Monday. So no promises. Sent from my iPhone using Brickpicker Forum7 points

Finally got round to buying the snowspeeder. Although a more accurate and detailed build with nice touches still prefer the original since I fell it’s more imposing since a bit blockier.6 points

Decided to drop by TRU in the evening to see if there was any coupons left from earlier in the day. sure enough, there was a giant stack by customer service. went on a scavenger hunt and picked these up with my 20% off gift cards (of course the discount didn't come off at the register, they had to override) x6 Ayesha's Revenge $14.49 each x2 The Milano vs. The Abilisk $23.99 each Then used a $10 reward on: x1 Riverside Raid $3.98 x1 4×4 with Catamaran $12.98 ended up being $6.00 for both of those after reward and DGC. Not too shabby4 points

Bought a Black Pearl on CL for $165 complete with instructions and all minifigures. Bought one last year for $160, sold on BL for $303.3 points

Could you fix that 4th one from the bottom left corner.... it's screaming at me. (and since you're there, maybe the 7th one from the bottom left too, but that isn't too bad)2 points

Picked up 7894 airport from a charity shop for a fiver, box was a bit faded. Expected the worst when I put it together this afternoon. To my amazement all present and correct mint with all three instruction books. Looks like it was built twelve years ago and put straight back in the box again, right result ??2 points

So I wanted to see if I could build a set and I’m supposed to move my arm to get my elbow to loosen up (that’s where the break is). Pulled out a smaller set I hadn’t built yet. Not too bad. Used my bad wing to collect each piece from the pile to get it some exercise. Nice little build. Bought this totally for the Ugnaut. Might bust out the Destiny’s Bounty next.1 point

The people listing them for $3 or less on Craigslist are people that have no clue how to sell LEGO. They thought they’d make a killing, bought a ton, and now their spouse is pissed they still have boxes of these in the garage.1 point

That was just rewards. I haven’t heard of anyone yet getting 10% off on Thursday’s without override since the new terms were published, yet.1 point

he said B&M .. and despite his toiler paper buying habits, it doesn't stand for bowel movement rather brick and mortar.1 point

Direct discounts or price errors on PR and BB. No point in buying them for less discount and certainly not from SAH. Last one I paid full price for was TH because it had already retired and at that time you could make money on them paying full RRP. Not happened since and probably won´t again.1 point

Some silly collectors. Although I love the idea, $20 for this is a ripoff. LEGO likes to promote "collectibles" when it suits them.1 point

It took me about 2 weeks of researching and double checking to make sure he was real. He's the main reason we started looking at Lego investing.1 point

Sold Davey Jones, found him in a load of random Playmobil we got at a charity shop, so no buy in. Really sorry to see him go. Sold for £55 on ebay, £44 profit after fees and postage.1 point

You're right....I stand corrected. So....my theory shot down.1 point

Filoni is great - I would love to see him get the chance to run with his passion.1 point

Since the older stuff has remained untouched in the new canon, and there's tons of old stuff in Legends...maybe that's what they're going to do? I think you might be on to something. Maybe the plan is to do the really old Jedi stuff, and adapt all that to the big screen? I do agree with you about Filoni. Guy knows his Star Wars stuff, and the guy has great storytelling skills. It's a shame they won't trust him with more.1 point

Was in local LEGO store today due to double VIP pts for Black Card holders. Was surprised to see an Assault on Hoth (last one in stock) still listed at $175. For double VIP pts, 60th anniversary set and 30% off, I'll do that. Imagine my surprise when it actually rang up for $140... score!1 point

If they do that though they cut off the whole point of the promos. I.e. entice people to spend more money. Otherwise it's just another small seasonal set.1 point

Just as a heads up, TRU going out of business do not have the 40% off sale today. Picked up a couple of things but because it’s all sales final (at going out of business stores) They drew a black line through the barcode with permanent marker.0 points
