  5. Confirmed today, 71022 - Minifigures. Not a CMF Series number (e.g., not Series 19). Confirmed release of August 1, 2018. 22 minifigures in the series! Rumor is that this is Harry Potter.

  8. I'd list it buy it now or best offer. Set the price a little higher than what you'd expect to get for it, so when offers come in they will be around the range you are happy with. Set the best offer parameters to automatically decline obnoxious low ballers, and to automatically accept an offer you are happy with. I'd offer free shipping as well, since it shouldn't cost too much to ship this. Make sure your description is very accurate and that you have plenty of detailed pictures. Listing as an auction is too risky for something like this, and wil most likely sell at a fraction of what you think is a fair price. Good luck.

  9. Is that for set 7171? You should check bricklink for missing pieces. You may make more completing it (if that matters). I would do buy it now with make an offer if just looking to sell. An auction on such an old set may not get many views. You can offer it here too https://community.brickpicker.com/forums/forum/61-trading-want-ads-for-sale/

  10. Try going to customer service and asking if the store does "repackage" discounts. Instead of 10% off, the system will automatically take an additional 30% off the last marked price. Used this method on some crushed / damaged Dr. Strange sets yesterday, knocking them down to $10.46 each.

  13. other than the one case, I haven't heard of anyone having issue sending receipts, nothing to lose really.

  14. It won't harm you, but it won't get you ungated. Retail receipts don't cut the mustard with Amazon.

  15. They've been on Target's shelves since Jan 1st, but if these are now in the Valentine section that means we can expect to pick them up in bulk for $0.70 after Feb 14th

  16. My guess is that the same hesitation you feel about them, other collectors would feel as well thus decreasing their resale value.

  17. A bunch of "retired" (i.e. on the list and sold out) sets are making a reappearance at RRP on Amazon.com, such as: 41179 Queen Dragon Rescue 41127 Amusement Park Arcade 21119 The Dungeon Hopefully just a pallet or two and they'll move fast ....

  21. Schedules for the last episodes. There are actually 5x 1/2 hour + 1 hour episodes playing on 3 airdates. That made me feel a little better. I thought there were only 1.5 hours of Rebels left Speaking of the trailer. I agree with Hera. I hate Kanan's new hair And the f-ing Emperor!!!!

  22. No. Please no. This is my weakspot, racing. Dammit, once Amusement was done, I felt good about no more Friends purchases. Then the RV releases. Now a racing theme. Friends Speed Champions Racers. Sent from my VS995 using Brickpicker Forum mobile app

  23. A little more of a buying question - but I think this is the most relevant thread? Bought a 4440 Forest Police. Pictures and listing showed 100% complete. Arrived today, and it was 50% complete. Of course I immediately think scam because I read too many fruitcake thread postings. Instead it turns out to be miscommunication between husband and wife. Still not sure how they got the pics. But they refunded me and told me to just keep what they sent for free. Went through the pieces, and I could build just the station. Everything else was missing. Didn't feel right taking it for free, so I told them I'd give back $10. (Bought it for $40) My question - I have not received the shipping label for the SNAD. eBay indicates it takes up to 5 days. I don't want to get dinged for not returning it. But since the seller already returned my money, can I assume I'm good to go? Oddly, paypal would not let me create a refund transaction off of any of the existing transaction, so I had to send the $10 separately. I noted the eBay ID number just in case. And it was a good reminder to always deal with people diplomatically and respectfully. I approached them that way and they returned the favor and were extremely honest and generous in their apology.

  24. Finished this up last week - hands down one of favorite sets, both in terms of the building process as well as the final result. If you are on the fence at all, I highly recommend it! It would be nice if LEGO put out a descent small sail boat to go with this - I have some of the recent Fishing Boats stored away, but somehow one of those just doesn't seem to do this set justice...

  25. Built the Dragster Transporter set and it was bought for its versatility. So glad I bought a few for investment too. This set seems to be a winner and we are using it as more a heavy cargo transport. We have that one also. ?

  27. I think you guys are reading too much in short term news. Over the last three years, Bitcoin has followed a pretty consistent pattern of value increase, where it drops early in the year, rises untill early summer, drops again and then peaks at the end of the year. This is probably just because it is an inefficient market and relies mostly on the human psyche and not on the broader economic environment. To demonstrate I made a picture comparison. I'm willing to back up this analysis with some crazy predictions for the upcoming year: - Feb to April: A peak somewhere around 25k - April to May: consolidation around 20k, maybe even drops to 15k - May to July: Another rise to 35k or even 50 - July to september: Drops back to 25k - September to December: A run to $100k This is surely not investment advice and I know it is likely I am wrong, but this is what I project and the reason I am only liquidating about 10% of my cryptos into fiat (making sure I have enough to live on if everything tanks). I do believe unexpected events can lead to incredible rises and incredible dumps, so if you later on shame me on this false prediction, I just did not see that one thing coming

  30. I not worried at all. Well actually, I started selling my Harry Potter sets when I first heard rumors of the new Harry Potter sets for 2018. These are my sets with boxes, I actually have tons without boxes. But by mid summer, I should have sold all of my Harry Potter inventory.

  31. Bitcoin isn't backed by a government which is why many people are attracted by it. What is the USD backed by? I'll give you a hint, it's a trick question. As for buying drugs, sex trafficing, etc., the one thing opponents to bitcoin are in denial about is that you can do the same thing with any currency and gold & silver too. And finally, the scare tactics of losing your bitcoin wallet and getting your wallet hacked, if you know what your doing you can prevent that. A bitcoin wallet is less likely to be hacked if it is attached to a email. It will NEVER be hacked if it is stored on a flash drive. Not to mention if one person gets robbed in 10k USD and one person gets robbed in 10k BTC, who is more likely to get their money back? I'll give you a hint, it's another trick question. So what other objections are there that can be overcome quite easily? I'll just sit here and wait. I've got all day. And by the way I'm on vacation in Vegas right now and there just happens to be a tech convention here. I've chatted with many of them attending the convention and they all seem to be pro bitcoin and guess what, none of them are selling drugs or appear to be sex traficers.

  32. Bitcoin has the collective users of the internet using/backing it. The people run bitcoin, no banks, and especially no major corporations. We give bitcoin value, and agree to exchange it among ourselves in trade. Bitcoin is also an open distributed ledger, meaning that Bitcoin can be used for much more than money. For Ripple, Google Ventures support is solid, but ultimately it is just another centralized money-transmitter service like PayPal.
