  7. Let´s face it, if all valued customers were the sharpest knives in the set, we´d be struggling to sell anything. We rely a lot on misinformed, rich, lazy, capricious or high/drunk people to do business.

  8. Lovely, Lego sending their sale stock in original shippers so mint phantoms

  9. Looking at the price I would say Lego doesn't want many sales. Shame as i wanted this, would look great after several modifications to the ship.

  10. Bottle looks fantastic. Ship not so much. The original ship was so much better. If the ship had looked like the original, I would have bought it for sure. Now......maybe for 50% off.

  11. Fellow Brits I think he's giving us some stick! Apparently occasional discounts on Lego is all that good about us!! as for discounts. The US gets the best, whole themes for 50% off or more. Those guys are filling their cars as we speak. Over in the Uk yes we get the occoasionK good deal but they are often limited to a few sets and only at a handful of stores. I got lucky this time, but most deal chases are a bust.

  12. My backordered Winter Holiday Train arrived and the shipping box included this "collect them all" sticker. Normally, I'd just give something like this away, but if there's some mystery or bigger game to it, I'd hold onto it. It seems silly in its simplicity and plainness to make 4 generic brick stickers a worthy marketing campaign. Oh wait, maybe if you collect all 4, you get banned. I see what's going on now.

  14. I not worried at all. Well actually, I started selling my Harry Potter sets when I first heard rumors of the new Harry Potter sets for 2018. These are my sets with boxes, I actually have tons without boxes. But by mid summer, I should have sold all of my Harry Potter inventory.

  15. Her Justice League variant is more eye-catching to me with all the details while the exclusive being based on the original comics though simpler is quite vibrant in color. Short story would be the San Diego Comic Con edition is based off the classic comic book series whereas the other from the latest films starring the character played by the gorgeous goddess Gal Gadot.

  16. Didn't know this place existed until my friend called me this morning... Geoffrey's Bargain Box - TRU clearance outlet in Buena Park.

  17. **SoCal Red Alert** The Geoffrey's Bargain Box TRU clearance outlet on La Palma in Buena Park marked the whole store down 50% this morning. They have a fairly large amount of Lego but set selection is limited. My friend got there first and arm swept the Technic (bucket excavators $115), the Caterham 7's ($30) and some others. I picked up some good part out sets (Ninjago, Nexo, Friends). Plenty left for the horde to scavenge.

  18. Smyths from warehouse maybe ok. I had few delivered and good. ToA in Smyths stores are tired that I’ve seen end of last year. Stickers tend to come off ok if dine gently but one sales staff ripped sticker off and tore box last year, was not impressed and got it changed. I think the Lego transport box is for 2 x ToA (others may confirm) so you could order in 2s? Just my opinion could be wrong and is a gamble this time of year with stock being the bottom of the pile or returns.

  23. My reimbursement request was made by an Amazon CS rep on December 28. Twice they sent me a generic response that they were still researching the issue with their technicians. Today I chatted with CS and they said I should expect a reimbursement within 3-5 business days. I have the chat log as documentation in my case. Hopefully this works out in the end.

  25. Also, there's a hard fork of ETH coming on the 18th of January. Which means you get free coins of the split-off currency after the fork. That may also be a reason why people are buying ETH...

  26. Apparently these stores have the BB8's still; Bromley By Bow, South Tottenham & Gallions Reach: https://www.tesco.com/direct/lego-star-wars-bb-8-75187/194-4301.prd?skuId=194-4301

  27. Do you not think the accountants at Tesco have costed this out? Packing up and sending back partial pallets, susceptible to damage, then pushing back into general stock probably costs more than the part of the discount they have to eat.

  28. Returns are limited by Lego. It´s probably not worth their while doing lots of movements. Gets people into shops to buy other stuff too.

  30. Early December I exchanged my free Bitcoin Cash amount (received because of the Bitcoin fork) into ETH. That was an excellent move, looking back now! It trippled in value since then, while BCH is more or less stable. Though I do believe that BCH will grow as well in the near future. I liquidated all my remaining BTC though, because I lost faith in the future of BTC. I think other cryptocoins are more promising.

  32. The limited production numbers always drives demand. The SDCC Wonder Woman Brick Headz will always be worth more than the regular release because there are far fewer. I actually think the JL version looks better than the SDCC version but it will never hold the same value. Justice League non-exclusiveSDCC Limited Edition

  35. Sold my first time built fishing store at 140 Euro to Netherlands on BL - including shipping even at 156 Euro. Although there is a Dutch seller with 54 new of these sets at 150 Euro, including shipping to Netherlands 156 Euro, too... understandable??

  36. Sold too much to post over the recent Xmas months but important sales were dumping all FO Ties at an ok profit before the Solo set images make it into the wild. Shifted a few Poes Xwings to create some space. Shifted all Doctor strange and buildable vader sets before remake. Sold 2 Hogwarts castle in case remake affected current price (probably unlikely) sold 2 pet shops with £50 clear profit on both to make room. Sent from my SM-G950F using Brickpicker Forum mobile app

  40. Sold two for £99.98 each on FBA a week or two ago, no FBA sellers left now Edit: Someone read my post lol, because there was two listings left, only one now for over £800?

  41. Wow, I just about fell off my high horse when I checked what this set is going for on USAmazon. 265 USD FBA is amazing considering you can still find it discounted over here and it is barely breaking above RRP (SAH marked it down to 50% off).

  42. I really like the new dragons as well. Are you talking about this castle @Alpinemaps? I saw it at Target tonight. It's a really good looking set. As an added bonus, I feel like this set has a Maleficent's Castle sort of vibe to it. I think the recent Disney CMF would look great if Elves mini-dolls aren't your bag.
