Built the docking bay 327 which will be the new home of my recently purchased 10179.

My son and I have been building the Hoth rebel base. I have to admit I don’t understand the hate for this one. We did add two large base plates and a lot of white plates to flush it out and we will probably add a tunnel and baca tank area.

Corporate sent a memo on this that there were to be no further toy markdowns before 12\26. Manual prices changes will take place overnight so they're ready for 12/26 opening. So, be on the watch if you want to pick a certain store/sets to stalk on 12/26. And per Target policy since its a clearance sale you can't buy it now and get a price adjustment on 12/26. In my opinion you're looking for a connection that isn't there. Every new wave has one or a few sets from the OT and PT. There's a new General Grievous Starfighter in the Winter wave. Do you think he has some role to play in Episode 9 as well? There's a "new" Mos Eisley Cantina set too. Do you think Kylo Ren visits Tatooine in Episode 9? Of course not. TLG just soft reboots the old designs in most cases to fill out the wave. How many Droid Escape Pod sets have there been? They save their "effort" (such as it is) to put out newly designed sets for the newest movie.

I’m new here. I have a THE Lego fish sculpture that was displayed for years at Disney Marketplace in Orlando Florida. I bought it at a garage sale about 9 or 10 years ago because it was too cool to pass up. It needs to find a new home. Does anyone know how much it might be worth and where I can advertise it? I’d like for it to find a home with someone who will truly appreciate its uniqueness. It is about 4 feet long and weighs around 150 pounds so shipping might be an issue. I think it would be a shame to post it on local Craigslist, but unless I can find a better venue that’s where it will end up.

This is just stupid. Found someone local on Facebook marketplace with a new sealed 9526 Palpatines Arrest listed for $150. I messaged and offered $125 and she got back to me half hour later saying she made a mistake and meant to only list it for $100. So I asked if $100 was ok and she said yes. A few hours later I met her at a nail salon and I had my desired set. Not the deal of the century but I definitely saved a few bucks on an awesome retired set. I told her to let me know if she has any other sets she’s looking to get rid of so hopefully there are more deals to be had.

Yes, I was told that employees have to mark down each item seperately. Some of my stores will be ready to roll at opening, and most will not. I haven't experiened it but there's some discussions on the site about this, along the lines of... If it's supposed to be marked down but hasn't been, go find a high-ranking employee with a "super" red pricing gun and they can mark them down for you. Huge ymmv.
