If you can sell the freebie for $25 then it is a similar deal; however, I always consider the better deal the upfront cash price and not having to sell anything.

Yes, it has to be versus RRP or @exciter1 and others´ 3 cents Walmart deals will obliterate all other performances. JW sets are not doing as many times RRP as the sets I listed above. Pound per pound it is always going to be sub 50 whatsit sets that perform the best.

My girlfriend of 2 months (and tbh my first one ever cuz I'm a 19 y/o newb) got me 42064 Ocean Explorer for Christmas this year!! ?. She's one of these people that start Christmas shopping super early and I simply told her that I like LEGO and a few of the themes I liked. It´s slow moving from an investment standpoint. Sales are much better than Chima or a number of other sets - just not good enough to be a desirable keeper with all the hoarding now going on. One thing to be aware of is that if no new Simpons items come out, it could signal the end of the license and we could get a Hobbit like situation where recent releases go along with the older stuff. If nothing more is announced by the summer, I´d say the line will be pulled in winter 2016 which would fit in with a standard 2.5 year shelf life. (1.5 for KWEM)
