They were missing from the first leak, but they have recently appeared in an Italian catalog. Ordered a load of bricks from PAB. They shipped me the promo first, since the bricks typically take 2 weeks. Could've been a bit more economical with the packaging!4 points

Verify all the parts are there from what is opened and put them in labeled ziplock bags. Put the parts from bag 1 in a single bag, bag 2 in another bag, etc. Leave the sealed bags as they are. Will give the buyer the ability to have a traditional build experience, and give them the confidence that the set is complete.4 points

None, it happens all the time. You have to start somewhere. The only thing I do differently is pull the order after payment occurs, but only if it is a very large order and I don't want to put the items back. Be kind and help them out too or at least offer it. BL can be confusing to new folks sometimes.3 points

I come to you with a story of sorrow and elation. I was saving up for what was supposed to be my most epic 14-day Sweeps points total ever. $48.69 in points, all from Sweeps. $4.77 expiring today. Pushed for one more $1 bonus Sweep at 8pm EST, didn't get it. Noticed that the points total in the Win It! App had suddenly dropped to $43.92. Panic. Ran upstairs to the computer on which I had a shopping cart with $10 off $50 coupon standing ready. Still showed $48.69. Raced through the check-out screens. Lo-and-behold, I managed to check out and now have $0.00 in points and paid $1.39 for a $59.99 MSRP set (Christmas gift for my daughter). KMart Order confirmation screen surprisingly showed 3 coupons (hasn't done that for me in months). One of them a $3 off $30 coupon which I thought was useful. Clicked on the "Print" button which gave me an empty 2 page document. When I returned to the page it, I was greeted with a "this page has expired" screen. A reload resulted in a screen without coupons. No coupons attached to the emailed order confirmation. Sadness ...... Main lesson for all of you: Don't push your expiring points to the last minute on the day they expire. SYW giveth and SYW taketh.2 points

Just attempted to use truth and rewards on a 70916 bat wing and was denied bigly. Cashier tried it a few times and neither would apply. Quite a bummer. She said that she thinks it's certain sets triggering the denial because she rang up a duplo set earlier and truth applied. Take that with a grain of salt.2 points

I haven't purchased any used bulk lots for over a year, but stumbled upon two over the past two days locally on Craig's. First one had 17 sets, including every set from the new City Jungle theme, three of the larger Ninjago sets that were just released, a fire station, and some other random city sets. Paid $200 for everything. Retail new is $850 plus tax. The second one included a Maersk Train 10219, a VW Bus, a Farnsworth House, and a brand new Van and Caravan 60117, and an airplane that I haven't identified yet (picture attached - please help). I paid $160 for those. Plenty of meat on the bone for resale down the road. These lots will be my winter project. Can anyone identify the white, blue, and yellow airplane in the last picture?2 points

Yes, this week has been great, though it would have been nicer with some decent discounts at TRU. I have bought a lot as well, with some for investment and finally grabbing the new Milano for me, some Elves sets for my daughter, and a couple of the sale SH/TLBM for the collection. Clearing nearly $30 per pack makes for some good discount on a $50 purchase.1 point

It has come to my attention that the SYW Superstore concept rumored earlier is actually happening. I was sent photos from a reliable source which depicted multiple people from SHC corporate breaking the news to a Kmart somewhere in FL. Apparently the transition will begin in the coming weeks. From what I've heard, this concept may have some promise. Supposedly combining the strong departments from sears (appliances, tools, paint, hardware etc) with a smaller Kmart, fresh market, and rent-able space for local entrepreneurs. How this will turn out remains to be seen. Stay tuned. Glad to see they're bringing back polybags, note that most stores will only get one or the other, so it's probably going to be up to chance if my store gets the good one (imo, the jungle ATV). This promo also should work on clearance and stack with SYW witchcraft, so that could be a nice little bonus Lastly, text "mystore" to 56278 for a $10 off $40 FREECASH offer (in store only).1 point

No go here for TRUTH and rewards. Tried both today and neither of them would work, even after the asst. manager tried a few times. Told them I likely won't be there much anymore.1 point

SC (NOT Sopwith Camel ;-) ) is horrible like all the other Lego Movie sets... Ninjago/Ninjago Movie is also not my favourite theme but there are already 3 beautiful must have sets for AFOLS there: ToA, DB and NC... It is really, really to bad, that ToA has the Ninjago label on it, otherwise it would be the winner of this year... (beside 21309)1 point

Come on ... why would anyone in their right minds pay premium over RRP for Last Flight of DB (70738) when they can get this gorgeous highly detailed DB that utterly destroys 70738 in every way for even less money? A poor remake of a set will not harm the older, better, version. Compare the Star Wars MTT: everybody agrees 7662 from 2007 wipes the floor with 75058 from 2014, so 7662 is still going strong in valuation. But in this case 70738 can't hold a candle to 70618. And it's highly unlikely that Lego will ever release a new Destiny's Bounty that is better than 70618.1 point

No, you drag the market down, too... Lowest price: 20 Your price: 22 Then another guy thinks in the same way as you did and makes his own second best price: 21 Result: All prices approximate to the lowest one...1 point

Code LEGO5 gives $5 off select LEGO toys from 10/15 to 11/11 according to the KMart Toy Book. Supposedly only the toys listed in the book, and then again only those in the $24.99-$39.99 range, but likely YMMV knowing SYW .... Oh, almost forgot: you get a free polybag (jungle ATV or Gymnastics Bar) with each LEGO purchase (of $19.99 or more) during the same time as well. I assume this is instore only, and I assume nobody in store will know what you're talking about, but then again ....1 point

After buying and selling 4 vintage castle sets last year from the late 1980’s/early 90’s I developed an avid interest in castle sets. I parted ways with these sets because some had plastic bases (I am not a fan of them because of fading and cracking) and some of the sets were too small for my taste. My interest only grew this summer after spending two days with my family in Lego Land California and seeing the castle themed area there. I would go back just to stay in a castle themed hotel room when they open that section next year! Today, after much research, I bought a used 7094 King’s Castle Siege that is complete, in great condition, has the instructions manuals and cost ~ $128 before shipping (~ $152 with shipping). The dragon in that set is awesome! I lost out on sets on BrickLink after waiting too long to decide and the insanity of Ebay was not kind to me. Victory is now mine and only $10 more than recent Ebay sales with shipping!1 point

Ha ha... that's funny! Looking at other photos of the set, I see that many of the figures are "paired" with another. She appears to be paired with the little boy in red holding the comic "dragon's head" on a stick? Based on the red and gold colors, I imagine they are street performers at a Chinese festival, and that red light is supposed to be a Chinese lantern. Still... pretty funny tho!1 point

Won a 10019 Rebel Blockade Runner on eBay, with the vague title no one else bid. With the low price, and $3 shipping charge, I started to sense it was going to be a scam or bootleg bricks wrongly listed. I went through the sellers sold listings after a few days since I hadn't received a shipping notice, noticed he had sold the exact same item, with the exact same pictures, a week earlier for much more than I paid. After that my scooby sense was really tingling. Reached out to the seller just with a vague request for a tracking number. Within a few minutes the eBay app notified me that it was shipped and a UPS tracking number was added. Still wasn't convinced it was going to arrive. Have had many non shipments from sellers when they didn't get what they hoped for the item. Got home yesterday and there were two giant UPS boxes on my doorstep. Not only did it arrive, but he shipped it assembled. The engine in one box, the rest in the other. Must have cost a good chunk to ship two boxes half way across the US, and really ate into the payment he received. Now I'm caught trying to decide do I keep it because it was such a steal, or sell it for as much profit as possible. It was never a "must have" for me, just tossed the minimum bid up with seconds left and surprisingly no one else was watching it.1 point
