Work has calmed down a bit so cracked open this little guy. Great build and some great play features. Looks good next to his buddy.3 points

Went back today with the same offer to give it another try. Wouldn't trigger on a $9.99 set (unlike the week before) but did work on a $10+ set. Picked one that was a Hot Buy online . So basically $10 surprise points on $10+, even though the text does not say this explicitly.2 points

No coupon-less coloring calendar this year with $75 purchase? I'm hurt.2 points

As long as the selling price for the Nutcracker is similar to the Snowglobe, I'll be good with it.2 points

Why would he want 25 ‘dumps’ - maybe he wants to create a MOC of a great Whitehouse. [emoji12]2 points

It´s getting to the point where remake rumour alerts are more useful than stock or discount ones.2 points

I'm working on a 10188 I got used and had to break down to wash. It seems like I needed more organization. It's going slowly.2 points

Finished this cool little set over a few bathroom breaks last week . Bought it mainly because it looked "ok" and for some reason it was cheaper than others in the 20OFFLEGO sale last week (discounted to $10.49 before code vs $11.99 for other Speed Champions set, so picked it up for $8.39+tax - 44% off), but after building it and putting it with my other cars it steals the show. I think it's the whole color combination that makes the car look so awesome. Definite recommendation if you're into Speed Champions.2 points

Tonight I finished building the UCS Tie Fighter. The 30276 poly bag was my first set in twenty years and it was cool to replace it with a proper Tie Fighter. Time to hang more shelves!2 points

Yep, first I have seen it. I got a message about a quote to Brazil that I promptly deleted. Have gotten people asking for tracking when I had already put it in their order page for convenience. Fruitcakes everywhere! My 1 month anniversary is coming up tomorrow I think, I have been real happy with gross sales($1500) and the volume of orders(44) over that month. Have purchased a few figure/accessory lots on ebay to supplement my store and has gone really well.1 point

My local LEGO store had 40261 (Thanksgiving), 40262 and 40263 (Christmas ride and Christmas Town Square) available for purchase.1 point

fba - 5x indominus rex $249 today alone. repriced higher. guessing this will be a very in-demand set this holiday season. Trex trackers also moving quickly at $149 - i'm almost out but at $49 buyin, it was a nice medium length profitable hold.1 point

I think it's fine as a giveaway for a $49 purchase, it just seems out of place for the $99 threshold.1 point

I am in the same minority as you. Perhaps we were spoiled by the last two years´s sets and this one is more par for the course. Good month to get the UCS Falcon.1 point

I think it'll last 8 more days hopefully. If not, the stores will have them likely. But it's looking like a winner. This year's seasonal sets have been pretty nice. But all the Christmas ones for this year seem perfect to go with other sets and also winners.1 point

It's $169.99 on costco website but this is still better. Price matching costco at tru and getting the ninjago promos is a little sweeter though... I've been debating on doing that... still not sure.1 point

Death Star II on eBay for $1260 . Had a no FVF voucher thing so that was good. Only cost $200 a few years ago. Original UCS Snowspeeder for $360. Got absolutely smoked on that one lol. Paid a grand for that 3 years ago. Remakes are pushing me out of this hobby I think. Eying off my UCS blockade runner now....1 point

You'll get $5 on a $150 transaction. Best idea is to split your orders up into ~$35 transactions, use a $5 off $35 coupon (easily obtainable from the mobile site) and get $5 back. Essentially an extra 30% off each transaction.1 point

Members get $5.00 back in points when you spend $30.00 on toys this week @Kmart. Limit 50,000 per member ($50.00 back). Stacks with usual SYW shenanigans.1 point

Yuck. Lego website is awful. Shows errors on every page and the checkout screen never finishes (visually) submitting the order. But, the order gets submitted anyway. Four promos right now, if you spend $25 on friends and $50 overall. Cave set, tic tac toe, lloyd, and the new friends keepsake box.1 point

Taj Mahal remake in january 2018 ?? No way. First of all, eifel tower and liberty statue are older, much more famous, and their older design needs a remake much more urgently (especially liberty statue is old fashioned + it is a landmark from biggest lego market). Second, there are many key landmarks waiting for lego set, why the hell would TLG remake just few years old landmark?? Third, january is not a release date for landmarks. If they make new taj majal, we can through out all investment habits and invest rather to sugar or chocolate, since the production logic would be definitely unpredictable.1 point

You can create the shipment, enter all of the box information, but then hold off on printing the shipping labels until you're ready to go. Amazon will let a shipment sit for 6 months before cancelling it. Don't know how long the shipping labels are good for once printed. Fedex is generally cheaper for me too, but I still use UPS because I have such a good relationship with my local UPS store and they never complain when I fill up half their store with incoming boxes.1 point

Sold quite some sets yesterday to a fellow brickpicker. And gained some financial relief. Thanks for the smooth and pleasant trade. You know who you are. 196 sets to go. So if anyone is interested... pm me.1 point

The other week I was buying lego on Best Buy and noticed they have a lot of sellers of lego with their own listings on the site. Yesterday I got cold emailed by them because one of their people saw my Amazon listings and invited me to list on their site. Here's their promo video.1 point

Wow. This might be one of the craziest deals I ever found. I just left Savers (a goodwill type store). Found a big bag of Legos marked $9.99. I had a 30% off coupon, so I paid $7. I wasn't sure what was in the bag, but it was big enough to be worth it to me. Looked like a lot of white and blue so I was assuming some kind of city police stuff. Didn't see any minifigures so I was a little disappointed, but I saw a some numbered bags so that's cool. I got in the truck and open it up. Start pulling out all sealed bags. Lots of white and blue. Oh look, an instruction manual. Woah. It's a freaking UCS R2D2! All bags present and sealed. Instructions never opened.1 point

Finally built the 10244 Fairground Mixer and to celebrate it's Grand Opening it was Star Wars Day! The lines were long: Chewbecca was playing a game,: Emperor Palpatine was in a good mood waiting for his turn in the dunk tank: Father and son were enjoying an ice cream: The tall man was there: And with a temporary peace across the galaxy fun was had by all. I did not know how to embed the video: MOV00048.MPG1 point
