I've already three of those from recent launch and Guard with Stormtrooper with pauldron are the best. I very much like the way Lego managed to work with gravity to put some weight on the plasticy pauldron to simulate this part as more like "flex accessory" rather than "fixed part". It's wobbling when you move him plus helmet is fantastic and much better shaped than those from TFA which are tad too narrow. So as far as I can tell Praetorian 75529>Stormtrooper 75531>Stormtrooper Pilot 75526 Chewie and Rey are out of my radar since I consider them as hideous.2 points

Down to 34 sellers as well. Should hit close to $400 on Amazon by Christmas I would bet.2 points

It´s not retired - yet. This is what TLG do when they have a sale and run out of stock to stop people backordering them indefinitely at the low price. If you remember, the flyer said limited quantities available.2 points

I picked up a 30182 Santa Claus polybag. I was an ones I couldn't afford the postage on a couple of 1970's sets so I bought this instead along with a few other little sets [emoji23]2 points

Just weird that there are only 14 sellers on Amazon, and the buy price could jump to $160 if the $119 seller sells out. I'm sure volume is low. On eBay they are going for $80-ish still. Basically I'm bored and looking around at sets in my office. :-)2 points

I recall last year and correct me if I'm wrong but the sandcrawler sold out and everyone panicked and went out and bought out walmart. Set came back full force a week later as I recall amd slowly crawled to retirement about 8 months later.2 points

Walked into walmar t at 8:00 this morning, no tlj sets except the scout and the small resistance one. So I went over to the mall. Bought a plush porg from Disney store and got the free posters. Then I went to stand in line for the Lego store to open. Was the first to grab BB-8. I got a stormtrooper, poster, cavemen and some other polybags that has how to form letters. I took that to the car, came back, got the small resistance ship, a couple fo battle packs, and all the promos again. Then I went to tru, and picked up the city advent calendar to get the r3 and also got 2 posters.2 points

I think with the UCS Snowspeeder and UCS MF that pretty much says the Tie and AOH are goners. No way do they take out the Slave 1 just yet.1 point

Assault on Hoth is Sold Out on Lego.com.... I hadn't bought this one yet, so just grabbed it off Amazon... Traditonally if they discount it on a force friday or may the 4th sale, it tends to be on the retirement chopping block, so i'm going to assume this one could be potentially retired soon.1 point

I saw this set on display today at my local Lego store and the mgr the was nice enough to show me the box. To me, the set looks about the same size as 10179. Just lots of extra greebling probably account for the extra elements. The box's thickness also seems about the same as 10179's. As other BP members showed with pics and said, the promo brochure is a very nice touch.1 point

Could be waiting a long while for something that doesn't add any premium to the set. In my experience these things are best quick flipped when they are on people's mind. For example, I remember when I immediately sold the Hoth poster that came with the slug set for £30. Doubt if I would get even £10 now.1 point

Hey look! Yeah I've noticed the same thing with the main listings for Grand Emporium and Jabba's Palace, both of which I have some FBA inventory in.1 point

I hit my local Lego store to pick up a set for my kid and to check out the MF display. Gotta say it's pretty slick and the exterior detail is well done. Side note, if a 1x5 is hovering around the display, a great ice breaker is to bring up the cost of that beast. And before you know it, you're having a geeked out conversation with someone waaaay out of your league. True story.1 point

"Missing sticker" "lost manual" "few pieces fell off" (let me guess, the expensive ones) "missing two figs" ..... this thing screams BrickLinked, no matter that they claim "authentic bought in the store".1 point

Thought I would quickly share with everyone the small Batman display I've pulled together. Check it out: Had to find a good way to display the Lego Batman CMFs, so I brick built the LBM logo and added all 20 minifigures across the logo. Select figs have a small Batman logo on their stand. All Batman baddies ever made are displayed above in the Rogue's Gallery (posted before), and I mounted the big figs and the Brickheadz directly to little stands that I nailed to the wall. LBM vehicles are in the shelves below. Next on my to-do list is to build a display for all of the Batman minifigures ever released. My idea is to mount them on a background that's modeled after Wayne Tower. Robin minifigs we'll be on the lower levels, and Batman figs will be in the upper sections. Hope this spurs some creative ways to display minifigure collections! Will post more as it's completed.1 point

I'm definitely more picky about which sets I choose. I rarely buy any at retail price. I don't know if this set retired in 2016, lost track. But the T. Rex Tracker 75918 is my personal biggest let down. Even then its not that bad. I managed to buy a handful at $49. Selling them has been slow though. I have them on eBay for 109.99 w/free shipping.1 point
